I have been to the Newton Smile Center twice and I feel that they are truly fantastic. The staff is incredibly patient, the technology is first rate, and the overall “feel” of the office is amazing. I also like knowing that Dr. Aissa is a local graduate of the Tufts Dental School. He has ties to the area and know’s his clientele. I will continue using the Newton Smile Center!

Dr. Ben Aissa and the staff at Newton Smile Centre were very professional. I first went for a Zoom whitening and then decided on some cosmetic dentistry to close a few gaps I had in my upper teeth. Woohoo my teeth are going to be WHITE forever. Can you believe they are offering free whitening for life. Apart from the great location, I’ve never seen a dentist office look like this. Everything from the layout to the amazing color schemes. Beautiful furnitures and very clean. Dr. Ben Aissa was great with me. First he takes you in into his office which is also amazing, there he makes you feel comfortable creating a patient relationship. After the assistant takes you to the patient room taking x-rays. Dr. Ben Aissa then comes in does his exam thoroughly making sure to explain everything little thing he is doing. I’ve never learned so much about my teeth in one dental visit. ALL the equipment is brand new and up to date, digital x-rays, Plasma HD tv’s, and a beautiful sink that looks more like a fountain. The first visit i didn’t pay anything, they said my insurance covered 100%, I was surprise aside from the fact that insurance right now is not paying a lot if any at all. I’ve never had such a great dental experience in a long time. Next week i’m going to pick up my bleaching trays to take home to start my whitening process. Bright, beautiful smile for the summer. I’m definetly returning, I even already booked my 6 months in September. =)

They constantly follow up wondering how I’m doing and helping make sure upcoming appointments are set. The office has some nice Miamiesque Art Deco appeal.

For three years, Newton smile centre took care of me. Their service was great from the front desk, the hygienist and technician, and the doctor. Everyone was super professional, and went above and beyond to make me look and feel great. About six months ago I moved to Oregon, which meant needing a new dentist. After sharing some of my dental history and areas that have always been kind of a concern, my new dentist, after a very thorough examination, stepped back and said, “I don’t know what you’re talking about, your teeth look great. Whoever’s been taking care of you for the last few years has done an amazing job, and there’s no sign of anything you’re talking about.” It made me grateful for the people at Newton! I highly recommend them and have been for years.

Had two crowns done 2 years ago at Newton smile center and have since then had more than 1 dentist tell me they are the best crowns they’ve ever seen. Quality dental work. A dentist today told me a lot of crowns last 5-7 years, but mine look like they will last a good 15-20. Even though they were done 2 years ago they look brand new. Money very well spent. I have also had a dental cleaning done by Ryana and it was by far the most thorough dental cleaning I’ve ever had. The office is clean and the receptionist are sweet and welcoming.

I’m a doctor and cannot sufficiently express how great the quality of care is at Newton Smile Center, from the moment you call to the moment you leave. I also have extreme dental anxiety, so finding the right dentist and staff has always been a challenge. They take care of me here, dentally and psychologically. Dr. Aissa is kind, compassionate, and up to date on cutting edge research – which is not as common among doctors as one would expect. He takes whatever time is needed to explain all my options, respecting my desire to be conservative in my care. His staff is just as excellent and incredibly patient with my needs. I live within walking distance of several dentists in Boston and I still make the drive to get the impecable care at Newton Smile Center. Lastly, I noticed all reviews are 5 stars except one. It has to be fake. They left no explanation… which makes sense, because what could possibly be said that’s negative about Newton Smile Center!

Very clean modern office. Their prices are very reasonable, for anywhere, much less Newton. My procedures went smoothly with little discomfort. There’s a huge amount of parking in the lot across the street. They had a power outage due to a problem on the whole street and had to reschedule but were real nice about it. I have absolutely no hesitation to keep going there and recommend them to anyone.

Everyone at Newton smile centre is very friendly, they make you feel at ease and take the anxiety out of having your teeth cleaned. Instead of dreading going to the dentist I actually look forward to it now. The waiting area is very clean and modern looking and I never have to wait long to be seen. All the dental hygienists are friendly and welcoming, and are extremely gentle when cleaning your teeth. The dentist is extremely knowledgable and he lets you know exactly what you need to be doing to maintain healthy teeth. The receptionist is also very friendly and helpful and if you need to set up an appointment for any further services she takes the time to help you book it and will try to schedule you in on the date that works best for you. Over all I couldn’t be more happy with Newton Smile Centre or my dentist Dr. Walid Ben Aissa. I highly recommend coming here if you are in the Newton or Boston area

I’m really happy to be a patient at Newton Smile Centre. The office itself is very clean and pleasant looking. I was pleasantly surprised because it looks more like a spa then a dentist’s office! “An extremely kindhearted dentist who provides top-notch care…” Aside from the needs of orthodontics and impacted wisdom teeth extraction in my early teen years, I was very much spared from any dental woes. In fact, I had always been told that I had, “beautiful teeth.” Due to some pretty significant health issues extending over a number of years, however, my dental health slowly began to turn upside down. Having the discussions at dental appointments shift from “beautiful teeth,” to “cavities” and “gum recession” was difficult to digest. That is why I was so fortunate to have found Dr. Aissa and his staff at Newton Smile Centre in the summer of 2010. Despite first seeing me with these newer dental issues, Dr. Aissa never questioned my commitment to my oral health, nor did he extend judgment in regards to my ongoing health problems. Instead, he made gentle recommendations as to what I might do to improve my current dental situation. And better yet- I recall that he still commented that I had, “very nice teeth.” Dr. Aissa is the kind of dentist who you visit once, and then end up keeping for your teeth’s lifetime. He is not only caring and gentle, but he is also clearly very skilled. His approachability, thoroughness and responsiveness to his patients’ needs will undoubtedly have him included in your appointment rolodex. A few days ago I got my first Zoom whitening treatment done at Newton Smile Centre. I’m very pleased with results. Before the whitening process I got dental cleaning by Ryana and x rays done by Marinila. I have to admit that everyone was extremely nice, but I must say that Ryana is a top notch! She did the most detailed dental cleaning I have ever had. I will definitely go back to see her in 6 months. Marinila was so careful when she preformed x ray, and I loved her personality. Rafaela — dental assistant, who preformed Zoom whitening treatment was very informative, patient while providing a good atmosphere for the patients. She was very calm and professional for the entire time. Dr. Aissa performed dental exam, and despite bad news that he had to share with me, he was very informative and professional. UPDATE: I wanted to do a quick update regarding recent procedure I got at Newton Smile Centre. I want to thank Marinila for taking the best impression in this entire world! I got my partial denture done at Newton Smile Centre, and it came out great! Impression was something that I was terrified of because of my previous experience, but Marinila was simply amazing! If I ever need to do it again, I would only let her do it. She was so careful and professional, and no issues whatsoever! Other than that she has amazing personality and she is very passionate about dentistry. I’m always happy to see her there. Thank you!

Great HEPA filters and all the right COVID precautions taken. The dentist and his team make me feel like I’m the most important patient they have! Going to the dentist is not my favorite thing, especially when dealing with an urgent dental issue. From my first interactions with Newton Smile Center, my anxieties were relieved. The receptionist was extremely friendly and was available to answer any questions. When I met with the dentist, he took photos of my teeth and spent time explaining what we were dealing with and his recommendation for treatment. We discussed different options and together we decided on how to move forward. The dentist was super attentive and took his time to make sure I was okay. This is my first experience going through a professional whitening procedure. I was so impressed by this office but I would consider going back from all of my dental needs. I was greeted by the front desk staff who are very warm and welcoming. I went to a consultation and then a set up for another appointment. When I came back to the actual procedure, it was unbelievable as the technician made me incredibly comfortable and kept me calm considering the various horror stories I’ve heard about the Zoom system. Take their advice and you will be totally fine to the whole procedure. Office is incredibly clean and very modern. It has been a little over 5 years since I last saw a dentist since I am TERRIFIED of them. I have to say walking into the Newton Smile Centre was the best thing I ever did. Upon arrival I told the assistant that I was scared and she assured me not to be, that they will be very gentle and she would also let the Dentist know my fear. Right after filling in my new client info form the dentist himself, Dr. Ben Aissa, took me into his office to discuss my history and go over any concerns I might have. He was so pleasant and a good listener. I told them about my allergy to latex and he quickly went in to remove any thing that could be latex (the last time I went to the dentist, even though I told the 3 times about it, they still put it in my mouth and I panicked!) so I was very calm once I heard there would be absolutely no risks in the room. The assistant was so nice and she really made the x-rays as painless as possible and allowed me to take a break a few times, since I’m a big baby! The cleaning was a breeze and the dentist really walked me through the work that I would need done, explaining to me and actually showing me what I need and why, which made me feel like he was teaching me rather than just giving me a bill. I have to say that I really felt like they took the time and cared so much about my concerns. They spent almost 2 hours with me and they didn’t rush me out of there at all. Newton Smile Centre is clean, friendly and caring and I am so happy to say that I have found my dentist after so long!!!

I am impressed, which is no easy task. I originally came in for a consultation for teeth whitening I purchased on Groupon. I ended up having a cleaning and xrays to prepare (and because I was overdue). I was pleased with the appearance of the office, and even more with the courtesy, professionalism, and friendliness of all the staff. My cleaning was on a Tuesday. The hygienist, Jerri, was very informative, sensitive, professional and very warm, as was Marinila, who conducted my consultation. Dr. Assia was prompt, attentive, and genuinely concerned with giving me the best treatments tailored for my teeth.I just received a follow up call from Camila, in reception, to check on me, just for a cleaning! That is certainly above and beyond, and the gesture is not lost on me. Their way if doing business is exemplary.
