I have horrible teeth, but not for lack of going to the dentist. You name it, I’ve had it done. Many of my teeth are gone now due to problems over the years. Recently, I started going to North Pointe and seeing Dr. B. Tindell. He has been removing my remaining upper stubs that are the result of a failed bridge to prepare me for an upper denture. Out of the 15 to 20 dentists I’ve seen in my life, he is the best, most amazing I’ve ever met!! His injections are usually painless (except for palatal injections — which are ALWAYS bad — but surprising his weren’t bad at all). And wen he is giving an injection, he warns you if it will have any pain, and even apologizes while doing it. Great manner with his patients. The extractions as well have been going well. VERY LITTLE pain after each visit — haven’t had to use the prescription for pain medicine he gave me just in case. I think my greatest concern is he will retire before I can get all of the work that I need done. I have only one “complaint” about North Pointe — They are not in my dental insurance plan’s network (MetLife), so the most I can get from my insurance is approximately 50% coverage. The work I need to have done is pretty expensive. But, I guess not being in pain during the procedure and being able to return to work the next day after having 3 teeth extracted is worth it. I’m really thankful I found North Pointe and Dr. Tindell.

In my book, North Pointe Dental scores an A++ in all areas. From the moment that you walk in the door, they are welcoming and caring. Also they have safe Covid protocols in place. They run on time and provide the best dental care. My regular cleanings are great. I have complete trust in any dental work that Dr. Tindell recommends and does. I’m generally very stressed in the dentist office but I feel much better at North Pointe Dental.

Dr. Barrett Tindell is absolutely THE BEST dentist in the Tampa Bay Area. I’ve had numerous dental procedures throughout the years and never have I experienced a dentist as gentle as he is; I can’t even feel his shots! He’s got an amazing affinity for dentistry. Their entire office staff is superb and they make you feel at ease; his assistant, Mika, especially so. She is the perfect match for Dr. B. Tindell with her professionalism and extremely easy-going nature. I normally dread going to the dentist, but not with this group. They even call you the next day after a procedure to make sure that you’re doing well…and it’s usually the doctor himself. I can’t say/write enough about his expertise and handling of patients. From Jessica, Z, Laura and Haydee in the front office to Mika, Elayne and Laurie (the dental hygienist) in the back office, you’ll be glad you chose Northpointe Dental Associates, and especially Dr. Barrett Tindell as your family dentist. If I could I’d give them 10 stars.

I have always hated going to a dentist , until I started going to Dr Tindale at North Point Dental. He is professional, caring and has always made me feel most comfortable. This is the best dental office that I’ve ever been too. I’ve had plenty of dental work done in the past and I’m so glad that I found this office two years ago. For the first time in my life, I’m not stressed about going to the dentist. Dr Tindell and the whole staff are very professional, skilled and knowledgeable of all dental procedures. I’m completly confident in the work that they recommend, they do not tell you that you need unnecessary procedures done. The staff is friendly, they run on schedule, and they really care about you. I used to hate going to the dentist before I found this place. I had traumatic experiences at the dentist when I was a child. I started going to North Pointe Dental and started seeing Dr Tindell about 14 years ago and finally I’m able to go without anxiety! Everyone there is so kind and gentle from the receptionist to the payment clerk and everyone in between. Everyone does a wonderful job, including Dr Tindell Jr, who recently took over when his dad retired. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree!! I can’t say enough good things about this place!!

This is the best Dental office I have ever been to. They are all extremely friendly, very caring and very sensitive. GREAT dentist office! Gone to this office since I was about 7 years old! Doctor Tendell is nice and friendly and all the staff is great as well! Decor is fantastic. Fish tank, comfy chairs, coffee maker, mini fridge, tv, etc all nice! Oh and COOKIES! Who doesn’t love cookies?! But don’t worry they give you a tooth brush, tooth paste, and floss at the end of you dental work. All in all 5 stars!

Called early this morning to see if I could get an appointment today with Dr. Tindell, my usual dentist, because I’ve been having a lot of pain/sensitivity in one of my upper molars. Dr. Tindell was booked but I was able to get in with Dr. Pross and his nurse Teresa. I highly recommend them both. Teresa took an x-ray and asked questions to pin down what I was feeling where and had briefed Dr. Pross about everything she and I discussed, so I didn’t have to repeat a thing. Impressive! Dr. Pross gave me a thorough exam and has referred me to an endodontist, and Jessica was kind enough to get me an appointment. Teresa gave me some samples of cleaning tablets for my night guard, which I appreciate. Love this office and the care and attention given by the dentists and all their staff. I travel 45 minutes to my appointments and would actually travel double that to get the awesome care and treatment they provide!

When I walk into this dental office, I feel like family. They truly care about your dental experience. I had a hygienist who was not very gentle in my previous cleaning visit. When I expressed my concerns to the office manager she immediately noted my file and set me up with another hygienist for my next cleaning. Today was my second cleaning and the hygienist was amazing. She explained everything she was doing and made me feel comfortable. I also recommend this group of you need work done. My gold crown fits amazing in my last molar. The lab is on the premises, and does not take long to have your tooth made. You only need to wear the temp for a short time. I have a nice piece of jewelry in my mouth now! 🙂

First off, I just wanna say this was probably one of the best experiences I’ve had at a dental practice. Within 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment, I was already in the chair being looked at and having my treatment plan worked on, unlike other practices who leave you waiting forever. Dr. Tindell and his lovely team were very informative and compassionate about the care provided. I was able to have my tooth extracted and leave the office out of pain within an hour. They took the tooth out so quickly and gently that I didn’t even realize it when they were finished! It was such a great experience that I’m actually excited to have the rest of my wisdom teeth removed here! Tindell and his team definitely took all the right steps to make sure I was comfortable and get me out of pain as soon as possible. If you’re looking for true compassionate and gentle dentistry, this is your place! Even if you have dental anxiety/fear, I have no doubts that the wonderful team will do everything in their power to make you feel safe and comfortable. I will definitely be coming back to this practice for all of my dental needs.

Dr. Barrett is the best! As is the whole team that works there! I used to be so afraid of dentists that I just wouldn’t go or paid a fortune that I couldn’t afford to do everything sedated. After a year under Dr. Tindell’s care I don’t need that anymore!!!! I had a root canal treatment today and I didn’t feel anything at all. And Dr. Tindell kept me calm and relaxed during the whole process! Always meticulously clean, equipment and patient PPE in great working order. Everyone is genuinely interested in your comfort and well being.
