I have been a patient of this office for nearly a year. I originally heard about the office from an online review who stated that the dentists were the best that they had ever been to. I hadn’t been to the dentist for awhile and decided to give them a try. I needed to get my wisdom teeth taken out. The office staff were very friendly from the time I entered the office. The hygenist who took me back for my appointment put me at ease and was very attentive to my needs. Dr Aylen was very professional but had an amazing bedside manner. She made sure I was not in any pain and made sure to explain all of the procedures to me. The hygenists and dental assistants were amazing at making me feel comfortable and taken care of. Dr Aylen even called me that night at home to be sure I was doing okay and to see if I had any other questions. I have been to this office several times since then for a cleaning and to do some other minor work. For the cleaning and minor work, I saw Dr. Aluas. She was also very easy to talk with and very professional. She was very knowledgeable and made sure that I understood the procedures and the treatment plan. The office is very up to date with digital xrays, cable TV at each patient chair, and special cameras so the dentists can show patients what needs to be done at a close view. The front desk team make sure to work with you regarding your financial situation and your insurance. I would highly recommend this office to anyone needing a dental cleaning, wisdom teeth extraction or any other dental work.

The women at the front desk, Sandra and Meghan made me feel comfortable and set the tone for the rest of my appointment. I hadn’t been to the dentist in quite some time and naturally was anxious. Sandra helped me through the paperwork process which is never fun, and having left some information out, she was kind in helping me correct my mistake. It wasn’t long after that I was called back to begin my cleaning. The man who took my x-rays, Artem, was very kind. I had given him a heads up that I may get a phone call at 1pm for work that I would have to take. He worked efficiently to make sure that we were done with the x-rays before the time of my call, and was understanding when I had to step outside for a few minutes to take the call. I really appreciated this, assuming it was an inconvenience being the last patient on a Friday, no one wants to stay longer than they have to, but he didn’t make me feel like an inconvenience at all. When I returned, Dr. Aylen went over my x-rays and did an exam. She let me know I had several cavities, and some that they had to keep an eye on. No one likes to hear bad news, but Dr. Aylen did it in a way that didn’t make me feel shameful or embarrassed. The office had some technology that was new to me. They were able to pull up on a screen in front of me my x-rays, and even some pictures they had taken of the inside of my mouth. Being able to visualize what she was telling me about my mouth made it easier for me to understand. Once we were done, I got my teeth cleaned by Lea Ann. I couldn’t be happier with the job she did. I walked out feeling like my teeth were in a much better state than when I walked in. She did a thorough job, in a delicate way, instructing me on things/areas I need to work on along the way. I don’t think anyone every looks forward to going to the dentist, but Northgate Smiles has been an overall exceptional experience for myself and my family. I will recommend their services to my friends and family.

Northgate Smiles, Dr. Aylen and Staff…wonderful! Very comfortable office, pleasant and friendly- eases the anxiety of going to the dentist. I have 2 crowns that need to be done. I’ve been putting it off for fear of getting major work. Dr Aylen and staff have been great at assuring me its the right decision and needed work. Front office staff has been great in communicating with me the costs and how insurance works with this process. So next step…2 crowns. Couldn’t imagine going anywhere else!

I have been a patient of Dr. Aylen’s dental practice for more than three years. Her staff is always very warm, welcoming and accommodating. Dr. Aylen and her staff have worked with me for my general dental needs including veneers and also partnered with my orthodontist throughout my adult orthodontia treatment to ensure my teeth remained healthy throughout treatment. I have always been completely satisfied with all of their services and would highly recommend them.

I’ve been going to this office over a decade now. I recently had a filling done on one of my front teeth. I had put if off for over a year being concerned it might not look natural when I smile, but finally gave in and had it done. Dr. Aylen had me in and out in less than 20 minutes and the filling looks flawless, completely matching the other teeth. I asked my wife if she could tell which one and she had no idea. Very pleased with the work. Regular cleanings have always been thorough and well done. Super friendly staff in all facets of the operation. Never had an appointment start late or run late.

I have an extreme fear of the dentist and had put off my annual appointment for two years. My previous dentist had retired so I had to find a new place to go and had additional anxiety due to change as well. All of my previous anxiety disappeared as soon as I walked into the office. The ladies at the desk were extremely kind. As soon as my dental hygienist came to retrieve me I knew that my visit was going to be pleasant. She was SO amazing and knew exactly what to say to help me feel at ease and calm. She was totally engaged and beyond nice. My time with her was so positive that I have decided to stop taking my kids to their pediatric dentist and start taking them to Northgate Smiles. Dr. Aylen was very professional and warm. Often, I feel intimidated my dentists and doctors but not once did I feel uncomfortable or nervous. Overall, my experience at Northgate Smiles was positive and as enjoyable as going to the dentist could be.

A week ago. I have schedule my first dentist appointment at Northgate Smiles and I have met an amazing staff and they are very friendly and i cannt forget to mention Bea and Dr Aylen are the best. I this review I would like to take an opportunity to recommend Bea the best dentist assistant that I have ever met. She is very friendly. honest. kind and competent. and i decided that she will be the persom whom will assist me when ever i had an appointment with Northgate Smiles. Dr Aylen is also a professional nd you will not feel pain what ever she is doing

Northgate Smiles is an top notch dental office. The dentists at Northgate Smiles are the best in Seattle. I’ve been going here for a little over five years and am very happy. The entire staff is professional, friendly and helpful. I enjoy my teeth cleanings every 6 months, Linda, LeaAnn and Hailey all have done a nice job cleaning my teeth over the years. A few years back Northgate Smiles even took out my wisdom teeth when they started hurting, I was scared but Dr Aluas did an amazing job; I’m so happy and grateful I got them out. If you are looking for a great dentist in the area for a tooth ache or a cleaning, call Dr Aylen and her staff. Northgate Smiles is a great choice if you have anxiety around dentistry. Dr. Aylen and Dr. Aluas are patient, reassuring, and always sensitive to my needs during a procedure. They offer several options for managing anxiety, and they do excellent dental work. I have been coming here for ten years. I had another dentist for a year due to a different insurance plan, and I switched my insurance back so I could come back to Northgate Smiles. Highly recommended!

There are a couple of complaints about pricing on here that I want to address. Dental work pricing here is competitive with others in the area, and I cannot stress how impressed I have been with Dr. Aylen’s work. From an emergency wisdom tooth removal to simple fillings, she has been great! The staff is always friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. The entire process goes at your pace, showing you which teeth are most important to get done, while focusing on utilizing your insurance most efficiently as well. You have total control over which procedures you’d like to be done first. I avoided going to the dentist for a long time, but I love going now!
