My husband & I are new patients of Ocean View Dental Care. I found their office through my insurance, located their wonderful website online, and then placed a call to their office to get a sense for the culture there. Their website gave a true picture of who these amazing, collaborative, joyful people are, their receptionist had me at hello! They were completely congruent with their online message. Both the website & receptionist made me feel almost like old friends! Warm, supported, comfortable & safe! I run a crazy schedule & much to my surprise, Dr Higgins has a policy to be on time for His patients…no waiting!!! I can do this! Several visits later, I have a beautiful new smile for the New Year, and my Husband is well on his way, too! After insurance, my initial care was surprisingly affordable! How great! Years ago, a celebrity, Irvine Dentist made me feel badly about my teeth and would not touch me for less than a fortune! What a difference! Dr. Higgin’s work is amazing & I’ve never felt better about my smile and the care we have received! He, and his wonderful staff gave us the best Christmas gift ever…two beautiful new smiles, great friendships and lot’s to smile about!

I love this practice! We moved to San Clemente in early 2017 and I selected Ocean View Dental based on proximity and their professional appearance. I love Ocean View Dental!! They have the kindest office staff. They have never kept me waiting for my appointment. Their hygienist removed serious stains from my son’s teeth that previous dentists told me he’d have to live with. They are professional and never try to “up sell”. I’ve referred several friends and they are equally as happy. I can’t recommend them enough!

I left my previous dentist after a number of years to join the Ocean View Affordable Dental Care Plan, and I am glad I did! I do not have insurance and their plan is better than any insurance plan I have found. After a few visits to Ocean View Dental Care I am sold on their quality and attention to every detail. They have all the latest and greatest technology, but best of all is the staff actually cares about their patients. Everyone I have dealt with has been first class and very friendly. Dr. Higgins and his whole staff are amazing and very professional. I had a lot of work done before my surgery. I never felt any pain from the many shots i had, the deep cleaning or my crown. Best Dentist Experience ever for my 3 year old! We have tried a few different dentist in town a couple times and both times my son ran out crying afraid:( I was scared he would do the same here but no! He absolutely loved it!! The staff and the dentist were all so nice and kid friendly made my 3 year old son dentist experience one to remember! He was so happy to let his dad know how fun the dentist was and show him all the goodies he received including toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss and even toys from their cute treasure chest 🙂 I truly honestly do recommend Ocean View Dental Care to everyone looking for a great dentist experience for themselves and their families:)

Ocean view dental completely changed the way I felt about going to the dentist. Dentist trips used to make me stressed & fill me with anxiety but that all changed when I met their staff. Honestly, no pain felt when getting a shot of Novocain yesterday. I can do thick needles in my arm when giving blood, no problem. But needles in my mouth? Running for the hills. So I was very pleased to feel no pain yesterday. And the staff is awesome, every single one of them.

I was ruined at an early age by bad dental experiences and although I take excellent care of my teeth, I absolutely dread going to the dentist for even a cleaning. Today, I had the most unbelievable cleaning ever – unbelievable that it was such a comfortable experience. Kathleen has the gentlest touch of any dental hygienist I’ve ever worked with. She specializes in dental anxiety and has excellent bedside manners. It was the closest thing to a Zen experience I’ve ever had in a dental chair. And, no, there was no nitrous involved! Seriously, I usually squirm and flinch a lot during cleanings due to sensitivity but I was totally relaxed the entire time just waiting for the pain that never came. I simply can’t say enough about Kathleen’s skills. This was my second visit to Ocean View Dental and will certainly be back. I hesitated to write this review because I don’t want her to get so busy I can’t get in.
