I haven’t been into the dentist in years so I was admittedly nervous but I felt right at ease once I stepped foot into her office. It’s beautiful! The staff and Dr. Cui were super friendly, warm and proficient. During the checkup Dr. Cui was as thorough as can be. Used to go to this office a few years ago and I loved everything about it. Unfortunately the company I work for went out of network and it was hard to find a dentist that I truly felt had my best intent. Well deserved review for an awesome dental office. Was on the hunt for a new dentist since my previous dentist went out of network. Initially I went to an office who diagnosed a fairly extensive treatment plan, something about that office seemed off. So glad I went to Dr. Cui for a second opinion. She said everything looked great and I did not need to return for another six months, which made me feel comfortable enough to schedule my next cleaning appointment in advance. Dr. Cui really cares!! If you want to have a good experience at the dentist then this is the place to go. You will get the best treatment in the city. The staff is friendly and helpful. The office is clean with up to date equipment to give you the best results possible. Dr. Cui focuses on suggesting the treatment that is in the best interest of the patient. You can tell that she just wants to help her patients more than anything else. What more can we ask for in a dentist?? Everyone has such a gentle touch from the Doctor to the hygienists. Dr. Cui is very friendly and thorough in her exams. She’s able to get a lot done in my visits sometimes doing multiple fillings in a pretty easy visit. The dental hygienists are very knowledgeable and making cleanings and visits welcoming. The reception staff is also very friendly and knowledgeable – insurance wiz. The office is extremely nice and some of the chairs even offer chair massage while you are getting your teeth cleaned.

I feel blessed to have finally found a dentist where I love, feel comfortable with, is gentle on my teeth and that I enjoy going to appointments for! Dr Cui fixed a crown for me recently and couldn’t of been more satisfied. I’ve had multiple crowns done before and the one I had done with Dr Cui is the best experience yet. She is meticulous, thorough and did such an awesome job the crown it felt natural like my own teeth right afterwards! Furthermore her staff is always competent and friendly and her office space is modern, clean and it’s very up to date equipment which I like. Her office is also in the Fillmore area with many great food and shopping options in the case that you want to browse around before or after your visit. I will be moving forward with Invisalign with Dr Cui in the next couple months and is excited to do so! I would recommend my family members here in a heart beat.

I have known Dr Cui for over three yrs now. And currently, I am getting my Invisalign treatment with her and she is the most patient person. She listens to me very carefully and understands exactly what I want to achieve. She is also very professional in what is best for me — to ensure I have healthy teeth and gums in the long run. She won’t recommend anything your teeth/gums don’t need. She is honest. I highly recommend Invisalign with her!!! I am almost done and I couldn’t be happier. I feel beautiful! I love my teeth! Of course, I get my cleaning here as well and the hygienists do a very thorough job. They take their time on each tooth, quality work for sure! I had my cleaning last week and the oral hygienist made sure I didn’t touch anything and was very careful in when I can use the sink to rinse my mouth and wash my hands. I found this dentist through Open care and though, oh, why not? I needed a new dentist after I moved into San Francisco and this one matched all of my needs. The entrance is right between two shops on Fillmore St. and I was promptly greeted and let upstairs by the staff upon calling the office. It was my first time here so they took x-rays really quickly and comfortably and the dental assistants were friendly and fun to talk to. Vivian Cui DDS was really friendly and I felt safe and comfortable talking to her about my treatment plan for the next few weeks. I was a little nervous about going to the dentist as it had been a couple of years, but going here felt great! She showed me coco floss and cleaned my teeth without any pain. I’m looking forward to my follow up treatments.

I saw Dr. Cui once many years ago when she came into my regular Dentist’s office on a weekend for an emergency. A front crown had popped off and she did an excellent job of fixing it. I am so glad that she is my DENTIST. She explains everything in detail and does not do elective work unless you want it. She is honest and highly skilled at what she does and kindly describes what all of your options are. She will tell you directly if something is URGENT or if it can wait. She is interested in the health of your teeth. She is a super-hero and does not try to milk you. She cares about the WORK she does. Another dentist I saw said I needed 4 crowns – but Dr. Cui told me that they were optional and not necessary at this time. She is excellent at COSMETIC CARE of the teeth too. She will not do unwanted unnecessary work. She is ethical – which I have recently realized is not always so in Dental Practices. I TRUST HER. I know her goal is my TEETH. My husband is also switching to her practice. Also the STAFF at Dr. Cui’s office are GREAT. Angel helped me with problems I was having with the old practice and helped me to get my dental records from them. I now am wishing I had switched to her practice a long time ago! She is excellent and I recommend her highly!! A+++

I am here to write a 5 star review for Dr. Cui and her staff. She is the best! The office is clean, bright and inviting. I am always greeted by the nicest staff. I like how they will text me available appointments for scheduling. Dr. Cui is very knowledgeable and explains everything she is doing in great detail. She did some corrective work I had done by a prior dentist and the results have lasted with no complaints. The dental hygienists are very gentle while working on you. I’m not the greatest at flossing my teeth daily and they didn’t make me feel uncomfortable about it. Dr. Cui graduated from University of Maryland, Baltimore School of Dentistry with her DDS in 2001. While in school, she completed a clinical and research fellowship at the National Institute of Health, and focused on the trigeminal pain pathway of the head, face, and neck. Dr. Cui also provided dental services on a Navajo reservation while working with Indian Health Service in Arizona. Dr. Cui underwent extra training to provide complex prosthodontic care with cosmetics and implants, as well as a general practice residency at UCSF that gave her experience in full-mouth rehabilitation for medically complex and pediatric patients under general anesthesia. To give you the best possible service and results, she is committed to continual education and learning. Being a member of various professional dental associations helps her to stay up to date with evolving dental techniques, the latest products, and the newest equipment.
