I hadn’t been to a dentist in five years! Five years of ignoring my dental needs. Five years of various excuses. With each passing year, it had become harder to motivate myself to go. It had truly become a sweaty palm type situation, but I decided I could not avoid it any longer lest I start losing my teeth at the ripe ol’ age of 28. My husband has been going to Dr. Schleicher literally his entire life so I knew this was the easiest way to get back on the proverbial dental health bandwagon. I am so happy I got it over with. Cavity-free thank you very much…but that is really irrelevant to the office experience. I will start from the beginning, the front office was friendly and efficient. My appointment was at 11:15, but I arrived early and they were able to see me at 10:50. How often does that happen?? Since it was my first appointment I had to do lots of x-rays. Now, again, I have not been to a dentist in five years so I want to talk about the technology in this office. I don’t know what type of tech is now standard in dentist’s offices, so this might be like me saying, “hey guys, cell phones now have color screens!” Everything was digital. I got to see my x-rays immediately and the hygienist and dentist were able to go through my pictures on the computer immediately. They also took 6 digital pictures of my teeth. This was helpful, but creepy. I don’t really enjoy looking at my bicuspids in x20 zoom, but I understand the purpose of it. Katie was my hygienist and she was so sweet and helpful. She did not scold me for my long absence, but instead welcomed me back and just gently reminded me of the importance of regular checkups. I saw Dr. Schleicher after my cleaning and we discussed some future issues I may have with some old fillings. He was very friendly and reassuring. Overall I had a very pleasant experience with Schleicher Dental and I will thank my husband, or I suppose my in-laws, for suggesting a great dentist office. The office is out in the Memorial/Spring Branch part of town, although I am an inner-loop snob it was barely 10 minutes from the Heights and conveniently located off of I-10

I came to Dr. Schleicher’s office with an emergency as half of my front crown had cracked completely off! He and his wonderful staff were very professional and he immediately made a temporary crown that looked great. I had a follow up appointment to have the 6 front crowns replaced. His knowledge and expertise was impressive and he performed the work with just two visits. He and his assistant Sheree listen and really care about your concerns, and are determined to have you leave with beautiful results that you feel comfortable with. I know many of his staff have been there for years and I can see why, the friendly and caring atmosphere along with the state of the art equipment and continuous education in the field left me feeling so grateful and very satisfied with my new smile. I highly recommend Dr. Schleicher and his team!

Love Dr.Schleicher and all his staff! I have been a patient of his for 30 years and my whole family use this practice too. Rochelle takes great care of us and is really wonderful when scheduling,or rescheduling, if you need to change appointments. Gabby was the assistant this past visit and she was amazing. All the hygienists are great too!

I’ve been a patient here my entire life – when Dr. Schleicher was a one-man operation. I think we all dread going to the Dentist to some degree, but I can’t think of one bad experience here. It’s professional, efficient, super-courteous and generous, and most insurance are accepted. I highly recommend this office; please take yourself/your family and go see for yourself!

I have been going to this dentist office and being treated by Dr. Hans Schleicher since I was 3 years old. I am now 39. They take excellent care of my teeth. They are so accommodating about scheduling and they make sure you are comfortable with everything. It can be so nerve racking having to have dental work done, they make it feel like a cake walk! And, I love my dental hygienist, Angela. She is so thorough and kind to my teeth, i could not ask for better. If you’re a big sissy like me when it comes to dental appointments, then THIS IS YOUR PLACE!

I’ve been a patient with the Schleicher, Read and Parker dental group for 6+ years. I continue to be highly satisfied and pleased with the level of care, knowledge and experience offered by every team member. The office environment/culture is pleasant and professional. I’ve been cared for by Kellie George for a period of time and want to pass along praise and recognition for her professionalism and all-around awesomeness. I was treated by her this morning and I always walk out with a bigger (and cleaner) smile! She’s personable and always takes the time to remember the small details of a patient’s personal life which speaks to her personality and character

I’ve been seeing Dr. Schleicher for five or six years now, starting back when I was having muscle twitching and spasms on one side of my face because I clench and grind my teeth at night. The issue had been going on for over a year and I was skeptical that it was being caused by TMJ, but was desperate to get it settled down. Dr. Schleicher (noting my symptoms and the extreme wear on my teeth caused by grinding) immediately had me fitted for a special TMJ appliance that he had designed–one that was different than the night guard I had been given by my last dentist, because the Schleicher appliance kept my back teeth from being able to touch or clench at all. He was patient in explaining how the device works and very accommodating through various appointments in which we worked to get the appliance fitted just right for my particular bite and jaw shifting during sleep. I’ve been wearing this device every night now for the last several years and I can’t speak highly enough of how much it’s helped me. No more jaw/temple discomfort and no more muscle twitching! If I go a night or two without wearing it, I can definitely tell, as my jaw and the surrounding muscles complain the next morning. I’ve also been very happy with all of my visits to S-R-P to get my teeth cleaned; their hygienists are wonderful and their office is very comfortable, with great customer service. If I need any adjustments to my appliance, I simply mention that when I make my cleaning appointment and get conveniently scheduled in to see either Dr. Schleicher or their lab technician, who can usually make on-the-spot or same-day adjustments. I highly recommend that TMJ sufferers (or migraine sufferers–anyone who suspects they may have a TMJ problem!) make an appointment, follow the recommendations and give it time to work. I didn’t think anything could help the muscle issues I was having, but this appliance made a huge difference for me

OK I am not someone that posts reviews ever, but I just am so excited I had to do this. I have been a long time patient of Dr. Schleicher. He treats my whole family and he and his staff have been just terrific over all these years. About three years ago I was diagnosed with sleep apnea – I just thought I was slowing down due to my age – not so – turns out I am so tired all the time because I was not getting any sleep and the oxygen was cut off to my brain due to the blockage in my throat! My MD had prescribed a mask that blows air into me called a CPAP. It worked but I could not wear that stupid thing so I just quit. I felt like crap most of the time and mentioned it to Dr. Schleicher when I was in for my check up – he had the answer! Turns out he has been treating people for years with dental appliances for snoring and sleep apnea. Long story short, I got my appliance and within a week I felt like I had gone back into my youth – more energy – more clarity in my thinking – not tired anymore at 11:30 in the morning. My wife cannot believe the difference – plus I don’t keep her up anymore with my snoring cause that’s gone too. Thanks Dr. Schleicher for giving me my life back.
