I am no longer afraid to go to the dentist now that I have experienced Dr Dang and her loving and oh so capable staff, Brittney and Samantha. Our family had gone to another local dentist for years and felt fear and dread even making appts for checkups. My husband discovered Dr Dang and became such an advocate for her practice that I finally summoned the courage and made an appt to check out a tooth that had been bothering me for 6 months, ( yes 6 months…that’s how terrified I was to go to the dentist !) and everything changed for me that day. I was made to feel welcome and treated with TLC ! Turned out I needed 2 root canals and a new filling on a cracked tooth. Within 2 weeks my treatment was complete , the cleaning was enjoyable and refreshing, and all the pain I had lived with for months was a thing of the past. I was so happy, that I decided I deserved a whiter smile to match the glow I felt in my heart that I decided to have the ZOOM treatment done ! Samantha treated me to what felt like a morning at a spa ….and one movie later I was ” WOWing ” Dr Dang and her lovebug staff with me new WHITE and radiant smile !!! I have never seen my teeth so white and today, everywhere I go my friends are amazed. I was shopping at Macy’s this morning and the sales clerk who was ringing me up said ” you have such white teeth, I am jealous ! ” I cannot say enough about the professional and excellent care provided to me by Dr Dang and her staff. I feel like I have made new friends for life. My attitude toward the dental field has changed completely and my only regret is not finding Dr. Dang and her staff sooner. I feel totally comfortable referring all friends and family to her practice. If you are a dental chicken, like me, or looking for a permanent dentist for yourself or your family ( they are so good with kids !) I give you my word as a health care provider and as a longtime resident of Huntington Beach, this is the Dentist and office environment you are looking for. I truly loved my dental experience and can honestly say…it was totally pain free ( yes…pain free ! ) and a loving experience for me and my husband. I thank you dear dear Dr Dang, and Sam and Brittney and your hygienist for all the support and excellent quality care. I am a believer now and look forward to my next checkup.

High-level service and appreciated the fact that Dr.Dang took the time to ask me about my past dental history and address certain concerns of mine. Cleaning was proficient and gentle. Don’t really see why there are any 1 star reviews, but I would highly recommend this place for a cleaning if you want your moneys worth

I came here because it’s a 10 minute walk from my house. What a gem! As far as I can tell, this place is run by one awesome female dentist + her dental hygenist + her staff. Everyone here is obviously happy and knows each other well. They are super nice and easy to schedule appointments with. I definitely recommend this place! Immediately after my x-ray assessment, I was given a concise, color-coded 1-page plan for each planned filling + how much it would cost. I had to pay for all my cavities out of pocket because my insurance does not cover white fillings (they will only pay for mental fillings). I was given the option of taking out a credit card and paying back the cost of my dental bills over 6-12 months based on a credit check. I took advantage of this option and feel good about paying off my bills slowly until I can come back and get the rest of my cavities done. If you don’t have dental insurance, I recommend you come here anyway! The payment plan options make it totally do-able. I wish I had known about this place sooner.

I visited Pearly White Dental for the first time last week and was impressed with the cleanliness of the office, the friendly and accommodating staff and the professionalism of Dr. Dang. I will be going back for the recommended treatment plan as well as scheduling my children’s routine cleaning appointments.

I came back to Yelp after a recent family visit to Dr. Dang to update my old review, and was puzzled to see a few one-star reviews had been posted. After reading all of the comments, I noticed that there are two camps: the five star reviewers (like me) that rave about the high level of service, and the one-star reviewers who complain about the cost of getting good dental care. I suspect that the real problem for the one-star reviewers is lower-level dental insurance coverage, and it’s really unfair to the dentist to drop a one-star rating because the full range of recommended dental services isn’t covered by your insurance. Dr. Dang’s office is not one of those HMO dental mills that relies on an enormous volume, it’s a small practice with an experienced professional, nice facilities, shorter waiting times, and more personal attention than the mills. You might argue it’s four stars instead of five, but it sure isn’t one star.

Dr Dang and her staff are friendly and professional. I appreciate the fact that the office atmosphere is clean and they use state of the art equipment. I have used Dr Dang since she opened back in 2004 and have gone twice a year for the last 10-11 years. The one thing that stands out the most is her attention to detail. She and her staff does an excellent job with cleanings and fillings. They take care to treat your mouth gently and make sure you are comfortable. I would highly recommend Dr Dang and her staff to new patients.

Just went in for my routine check up and cleaning. After reading what others had said on yelp I was a little hesitant, but Dr. Dang was highly recommended by my good friend who swears by her so I thought what the heck I’ll just go and get my own opinion. I’d have to say I was very impressed. The office was far cleaner than my last dental office and the staff was phenomenal. Everyone made me feel so comfortable and even offered me fresh brewed coffee! Dr. Dang reviewed my xrays and gave me thorough exam answering all of my questions. Finally a dental office that wasn’t pushy or trying to sell me things! The only down side was trying to find a parking spot but luckily one opened up right in front in perfect timing! Overall it was an all around positive experience, and this coming from someone who hates the dentist!
