Absolutely blown away! I wish I could give 10 out of 10. I was referred to Dr. Fishman from a pediatric dentist in my hometown. I live in Palmdale, 63 miles away. Since being on the stay at home order we haven’t been able to contact our dentist or any other dentist that would take my daughters emergency case. Dr. Fishman answered their phones ready, after I had been waiting 2 months trying to desperately find someone to help. We were able to get an appointment within 2 days! When we got there, every single person was exceptionally friendly, greeting us with a Good Morning! They’re office had a fantastic system for covid-19 that made me feel safe and clean in a sanitized environment. Social distancing and masks were worn by all and parents waited for their kids from the comfort of their cars. When we were needed or updated, the Dr.’s personally walked out to the cars to address us. It was amazing! Just that little added touch of care, blew me away. We did x-rays, the consultation, and went right into her appointment to get her on her way to feeling better, which was such a relief! My daughter, being 4 and her first dentist appointment, got scared and became a little difficult in her chair, Dr. Fishman allowed me to go in there and calm her down so that we could continue our appointment that we needed so desperately. He addressed all of my concerns and made sure all of my questions were answered. The quality of care for his patients makes you feel like family. He and his staff are extremely good with children. I drove 1 1/2 hours and 63 miles for this appointment and it was completely worth it! The service, smiles (even with masks on), professionalism and care has been completely unmatched by anyone and anywhere I have ever been. I will continue to take my child to this dentist for the rest of her life! I am sold! Thank you so much for all of us parents that have been stuck in quarantine feeling completely helpless. You are the light at the end of the tunnel and I am so appreciative of everything that you did for me and my daughter today! See you soon!

Thank you Dr. Fishman for the great care you showed my 4 year old daughter. I was so nervous knowing that my baby girl was going to be sedated for a procedure. From the moment we walked in the office we were treated like family. Dr. Fishman took extra time to set my mind at ease. He explained the procedure step by step at which point my baby girl took a staff member’s hand and walked into the procedure room. A warm blanket was offered to my baby girl. My daughter choose to keep the blanket as my wife and I waited in a warm and kid friendly waiting room. I will never forget how at ease I felt When Dr. Fishman updated us after the procedure was done .Later that evening Dr. Fishman called us from his personal cell phone to check on my daughter. What a great Dr. and a great person. The staff was professional friendly and attentive to all and any needs we had.

I’m not the type to write a review but for this I really have to. I totally recommend Dr. Fishman’s Pediatrics Dental Arts! First of all the Staff is very friendly and kind which helps make our children feel safe and welcome. They have a TV/GameRoom for kids to enjoy. Dr. Fishman is very professional and  extremely good with kids. My kids never complain and don’t fear going to the dentist EVER! Dr. Fishman is AWESOME!! I love how Dr. Fishman interacts with my kids and follows up with his patients just to see how they’re doing. My 9 year son just had 4 tooth extractions today and looks and acts like he never went to the dentist. If you’re looking for a safe, friendly and fun dentist then come here! I promise your kids will love it.

Dr. Fishman, is amazing. I don’t ever write reviews or recommend anyone. He is so genuine and naturally great with children. My daughter has been there several times and this last she had to have cavities filled. He explained everything to me and his staff gave me options and all the information I needed to make the right choice for my child. My daughter (5) went in had her cavities filled and I knew she was in good hands, she was so calm & she was just comfortable with dr.fishman and his staff. She went in and came out just as I was told. Not to mention he called me later that day just to check on how my kid was feeling and if she was able to eat. I have a 9 month old and he even answered some of my questions about his teeth. He said they were there and would be coming out soon and not even a week later they cut. I wouldn’t trust any other dentist with my kids. He was a great find and all the reviews tell you he’s great, look no further. Pediatric dental arts office is comfortable for parents and the kids have great wait area, super clean and always a great movie playing to keep them entertained. The exam rooms and there are a lot are clean an neat and have everything needed to keep squirmy or nervous kids calm and in the exam chair.

Extremely grateful for the customer care and service provided from the receptionist to their entire staff. Dr. Fishman was very helpful and knowledgeable as I had trouble looking for a pediatric dentist I can bring my kids and have my 2 little monsters be comfortable and in good care. It’s been over 2 years Royce Martinez began their orthodontic process and today I brought Romeo Martinez in as I am very thankful for his work and progress. Set an appointment as I recommend Dr. Fishman and give this place a A+++ Thank you Irma for helping me over the phone, Eden.

Dr. Fishman was recommended to me by a co-worker a couple of years ago. I’ve brought all my young kids here and my experience is always a positive one, for the kids as well as can be expected depending on the reason for the visit. Today my son had a lot of work done and both my husband and I are satisfied with the quality of service our son received. Starting from the pleasant staff in the front desk to the dentist and assistants. Even the anesthesiologist was very nice when she called to give instructions the day prior. I highly recommend this dental office to all parents with young children.

Most parents would agree when looking for a health care provider for our children, whether it be a Respectable Pediatrician or a Great Pediatric Dentist, one thing is always key: Best Quality Care ALWAYS! Enter Dr. Scott Fishman. I have three children that are under Dr. Fishman’s care and the experience has exceeded my expectations when it comes to dental care. My most recent trip was when I took my eight year old son for his very first dental appointment with Dr. Fishman. He was a little scared from previous dental experiences at another office, so he was not a very happy camper. As soon as we entered the office, my son looked around and soaked up the peaceful, friendly ambiance and looked at me with a smile. I proceeded to check him in and the nice lady at the counter helped me rapidly and with ease. The waiting area is so homey and comfortable, I almost didn’t want to leave! (At other offices, I usually can’t wait to get out!!) My son right away approached the waiting area for kids, equipped with video games and a movie playing while we wait, how cool is that?!  The wait wasn’t long and soon enough, it was my sons turn to go in.  He was already comforted and at ease from the environment that he didn’t need me to go in with him, and a friendly staff member took him back reassuring him and I that he was in good hands. After a little while, Dr. Fishman came out and discussed with me how my son was doing, what work he needed done and helpful tips on how to help little ones brush with success. No other Dentist had ever included me in the process with great detail and with my sons best interest in mind, so right away I knew Dr. Fishman was a blessing to my family. The work was done and my son was happy and all smiles, he explained to me that Dr. Fishman had explained to him as well, how to brush, when to brush  and that he did a good job as a patient and hoped to see him soon. My son had such a great experience, he didn’t want to leave. He received a goody bag including a toothbrush and floss, what a treat! As soon as we arrived home, all I heard from my child was how fun he had, how he loved the Dentist,  how he wanted to go back and that he was going to tell his friends all about his trip to the Dentist. As  a mother of four, to hear my children boast in that way about a  Doctor visit, especially a DENTIST, is a very rewarding feeling for me and for them. Thank You Dr. Fishman and staff for everything,! You better believe that my children will be there every six months!  Truly grateful.

I have a 3 in a half year old son, who had cavities and his teeth were decaying fast! I took him to a dentist on January 23,2009 and had so much trouble getting his referral approved for all the work he would need.It was taking so long I decided to call Dr.Fishman’s office and they immediately scheduled us to come in. Dr. Fishman’s  dental assistants were so friendly and took my son to take x-rays of his teeth, when I was waiting for  Dr. Fishman  to come in and talk  to me I was so nervous because I knew my son would have to be sedated and I didn’t like the thought of that. When he came in to explain what my son needed to have done I was no longer nervous, I was actually really excited and my son was too. The next step was to have my insurance approve all the work my son needed. When I received the papers and saw the list of what was covered and what was not I started to freak out because I knew I could not afford what was not covered. I then called Dr.Fishmans office and asked about how much everything would cost when they told me I didn’t think my sons teeth would of been able to be saved. I prayed and  a couple of weeks later I got a phone call from his office and they said they would do it. Dr. Fishman made me feel so comfortable during the proceedure. My sons teeth look so great! Dr. Fishman even  called later that evening to check on my son. Thank you soooooo much Dr.Fishman you are truely a blessing. 🙂 I would recommend him anyday.

There are not that many places that I will take time to write a review for, but for pediatric dental arts I will always let everyone I can know about them! Dr. Fishman and his entire staff are beyond wonderful. I have had the privilege of having Dr. Fishman and his staff work with my son since he was 10 months old. He is now 8 years old. Dr. Fishman has always exercised great patience with my son that has always been a little nervous sitting on the exam chair. He is as honest as they come. Being a father himself, he truly treats his little patients with care and addresses his concerns with you in a caring and honest manner. As for the assistants, they take the time to talk with your child, ask them questions about their day and do everything they can to make them feel at ease. I only hope they all stick around for years and years to come. Dentists are found everywhere but few can be called wonderful. Thank you Dr. Fishman and staff for all that you do! ATTN 1st TIME MOTHERS; Stop searching. This is the place to bring your child for their first visit ever. If your really anxious about finding the best care for your child, Dr. Fishman is amazing and the best choice. My 3yo is terrified to go to any doctors office, but staff made him feel so comfortable. Dr. Fishman is very detailed about explaining procedures, so he allowed for me to record him so I can play over for my husband. You can tell he has a passion for what he does and wants to make sure you and your child are comfortable. My son had 2 small cavities to fill, I was a little nervous about not being allowed in the room during the procedure (it was my first time leaving him anywhere without me), but Dr.Fishman was very reassuring, and when I left the room my son quickly ask to hold Roxannas, the assistant, hand and she was delighted to do so. Due to Covid I had to wait in my car, they txted me during his procedure to let me know progress and then Dr. Fishman personally came to get me, and told me my son did amazing! My son was in no pain and his normal self immediately. Thank you Dr.Fishman and staff! See you in March!

Dr. Fishman is by far the BEST pediatric dentist in Downey and even SGV! Both of my children have seen Dr. Fishman since age 2 and 3. To get started the office is by far so amazing and has a own play room with a huge flat-screen TV playing Netflex for children and x-box and Wii. As your child waits to be seen there’s nothing better than Finding Nemo playing and kids interacting with each other. One thing I noticed immediately is CLEANLINESS! The bathroom to the rooms to the smell of the office to the decor and floors. It’s so important to maintain a clean environment in front of office and behind as well. The receptionist’s are great and provide details about your bill and making appt’s easy to schedule. Yes, is Dr. Fishman busy, of course hes the best and t’s worth the wait esp. when its your children being seen by a dentist and it could be traumatic to any child at such a young age to go through any dental procedure. If Dr. Fishman is busy, it tells you one thing, “He’s great and everyone wants their children to be seen by him b/c he is trust worthy!”. Dr. Fishman has by far the best bedside manner there is. He thoroughly explains the plan of care, options, side effects, long term effects and tips on better dental cleaning and care. He will personally come out himself and hand out your children to you and during any procedure big and small he will notify you of the status. The comfort level and overall dedication shows immensely as a doctor and shows his character.  Most doctor’s and dentist are concerned about seeing patients solely based on financially reasons and money. Dr. Fishman goes above and beyond to make sure not only the child is comfortable and taken care of as well as the parents and their concerns. He personally calls you at the end of the day of that same day visit and follow’s up on your child. What dentist or doctor would do that? None. But Dr. Fishman!!! The dental assistants are great as well working with top of the line technology and equipment. State of the Art by far! Im so happy I found him and his office! Also Orthodontic there as well in same office which makes it convenient. Take your precious children here you wont regret it at all!

Thank you, Dr. Fishman for such great care and knowledge. Friendly staff and amazing service! I was so nervous about having my 5 year old son getting sedated to fix his 6 cavities. But Dr. Fishman thoroughly explained the procedure and took his time to set my mind at ease. During the procedure, the staff treated us like family. They made my son feel comfortable and safe. Although I had to wait in my car during the whole procedure (COV-19) I am forever grateful to be next to my son when he opened his eyes and saw me there standing by his side. Great planning and timing! Dr. Fishman called in the evening to check on my son’s wellness. We also got a postcard with staff’s signatures and a note from Dr. Fishman! Such wonderful people! What a great dentist!!! Made me feel at ease and explained the procedure he was performing on my 6 year old son. I almost don’t want to write a good review because i want to keep this awesome dentist to ourselves;) To try to get an appt. is a little tough and now i know why. I overheard a women while waiting for my son say that she travels an hour an a half for this dentist for her daughter. I thought, man,… this guy must be good!!! I went to another dentist and they wanted to cap my sons teeth Fishman said just needed to be extracted. Which the capping would have cost me a small fortune and Dr. Fishman explained we didn’t need that from the get go, so i knew this guy was as honest as they come. I can go on and on but to make a long review short,.. professional staff, clean facility, and the dentist,….a real CATCH!!! thank you doc.

My son broke his front tooth in half playing outside, and we were referred to Dr. Fishman. The entire staff, especially Dr. Fishman were, exceeded my expectations by FAR!!! The process of from start to finish went amazingly. Dr. Fishman is so professional! The office is a kids paradise, coming fully equipped with a kids play room and flat screens on the ceiling in every room. Besides the kid friendly environment, He talked my husband and I through the entire process of the tooth extraction and the replacement tooth. The greatest part is that they work with a third party financial service, so we get to make monthly payments, instead of having to pay out of pocket right away. I couldn’t recommend Dr. Fishman enough. If I could give him 100 stars I would. Thank you, Dr.Fishman for your professionalisms and true concern.

Dr Fishman l, and his team, have been caring for my children’s dental health for over a year now and I couldn’t be happier with their gentle care for my children. They’re a group of composed professionals that are expedient, loving and efficient when dealing from the most easiest to the most difficult cases. If it weren’t for Dr Fisher and Nurse Jackie, my daughter would have lost her tooth. She accidentally took a wrong step, face planted and her adult tooth came out from the root. I called Dr Fishman and he assured me, with such care, that he will see my Daughter in 30 minutes at his office. He advised me to place the tooth in milk and meet him and his assistant at his office at 9pm on a Sunday night. Who does that? Only drs  who really care for their people– that’s who! I’m eternally grateful that Dr Fishman and assistant Jackie responded so quickly to my daughter’s emergency, and I’m sure they would do the same for any of their loving patients  If it weren’t for them, my daughter would have had more damage than a missing tooth– the spiritual lift she got from their reassuring mannerisms gave her hope! My kiddo saw Dr. Fishman last year on April 2018. I rarely have time to review but I always told myself I would for Dr. Fishman. That’s how incredible he was. I was deleting my old voicemails and I heard his voice, checking in on my little girl making sure she was doing well. Who does that nowadays??? I was so impressed with his skills and his bedside manner. I was first referred to another dentist really had me just disgusted that I told my primary dentist. You have to refer me to someone else. That’s when we saw Dr. Fishman and my 6 year old said. “Mommy, so we going to see the good doctor from now on, right? She called him that. Lol. You will be totally impressed with his whole staff.

I took my daughter to Dr. Fishman for a second opinion. We felt very comfortable, and after meeting the staff, my daughter said, “I want to have my dental work done here.” She is 6 years old and needed a lot of dental work, 6 root canals! I have to say, the procedure went better than I imagined. She had IV sedation and was dancing later that afternoon. Dr. Fishman called me to followup on her in the afternoon also. Great staff, highly recommend this dentist. We will be going back and recommending him for years to come. Thank you!

I had been to several Pedodontist over the years but had not been comfortable receiving treatment from their office. My son Andrick is six years old and needed several procedures done and Dr. Fishman did all his treatment in one visit. Its nerve wrecking when your not sure if your in the right place. Dr. Fishman knew how I felt and understood. he went over Andricks Visit with me and during treatment he came out to tell me how he was doing and made sure I was comfortable with how he was working with my child. Andrick is a little dramatic and hard to work with sometime, it depends on his mood.  I have had other Dentist not even look in Andricks mouth and tell me he is a difficult patient and offer extraction instead of a crown or filling. Andrick had the sleepy juice with laughing gas and he also needed to be papoosed, Dr. Fishman asked me for consent first and I was okay with that. Dr. Fishman is an fantastic Dentist I wished I had been to him sooner. Parents if your kids need to be papoosed don’t be scared. Dr fisherman and his staff are extreamly efficient. I love the office I will be taking my 18 month old there.

I was originally referred to Dr. Fishman by our regular dentist when one of my daughters was having problems with previous work done by another pediatric dentist. I am so glad they did. The whole office is empathetic, and Dr. Fishman’s highest priority is the health and well being of each and every one of his patients. With each procedure, he and his staff make sure to update the caregivers as to how the child is doing. There are activities for children of all ages to keep them entertained while they wait. I am very happy and feel confident taking my children to Dr. Fishman, and I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for a pediatric dentist.

Dr. Fishman is great!!  All the wonderful reviews are True.  He is personable, approachable , ethical and a great Pediatric Dentist.   His practice is beautiful and child friendly, but not a circus.  There is a childrens play area with an enterainment system.  The children are in their own individual treatment rooms with a t.v. on the ceiling  which they love!!!!   Dr. Fishman explains everything and gives you choices for your childs treatment.   If anesthesia or sedation is required, Dr. Amanda is the BEST!!  Your child will be in good hands.  It is pricey, but well worth it.  I have not had such wonderful experience with a dentist and his staff. My children actually enjoy going to the dentist.  I highly recommend Dr. Fishman.

Yesterday I got the pleasure (yes, I did say the PLEASURE) of taking all 3 of my kids to see Dr. Fishman for their 6 month check up.  It is so nice to not have to trick my kids into going to see the dentist.  When I tell them we’re going to see Dr. Fishman, they get excited! When I picked the kids up early from school, everyone already knew that they were going to the dentist because they had all been talking about all day! His staff is so amazing.  They interact so well with the kids that my 2 year old sat and had her x-rays done by herself! Dr. Fishman and his staff genuinely care about the kids and make everyone feel comfortable and at ease.  Dr. Fishman is so personable, patient, knowledgeable and caring.  You can tell that he loves and takes pride in being a dentist.  I only wish he could be my dentist too! While I do have a little drive to see him, I would drive even further if I had to.  Dr. Fishman is by far the best pediatric dentist. Thank you Dr. Fishman and staff, for making my kids’ dental visits a positive experience for us all! We look forward to being back in 6months!

So happy with the care and service at Pediatrics Dental Arts. My daughter had eight fillings done today and we decided to put her under anesthesia. We were so nervous, but the staff, Dr. Fishman and the anesthesiologist were awesome. Dr. Fishman came out to give us an update and everything was done in an hour. Our daughter was a little drowsy, but did great after. I was super surprised to get a call from Dr. Fishman himself to see how our daughter was doing later in the evening. I will definitely refer other parents to him and will continue to take our daughter. See you all in a couple of months.

There are not enough stars in the world to express what a great pediatric dentist Dr. Scott Fishman is.  My six year old daughter was referred to Dr. Fishman by Western Dental. Dr. Fishman gave my daughter her consultations and his professional  staff was able to get a referral for treatment for the next day.  Dr. Fishman was very thorough and informative when explainig the procedures that was required to abtract my daughter’s  four molar teeth that was badly decayed due to two other dentist failure to be able to accomplish the task of completing the abtraction.  Dr. Fishman weighted my daughter, then issued the appropriate amount of medcine required to successfully sedate her before proceeding with the abstaction procedure.  When me and my daughter entered the room she freaked out.  Dr. Fishman was so confident in his experience and expertise as a pediatric dentist, he starting talking to my daughter asking her why was she crying and that he was there to help her.  Dr. Fishman’s staff came out every 10 minutes to update me on my daughter’s status and what they had completed.   The Lord God was present in the room guiding Dr. Fishman, because he was able to complete a procedure that two other dentist failed to complete.  Dr. Fishman was also able to insert the brackets in empty spaces. This procedure eliminated a follow up appointment.   Later on that day Dr. Fishman called to see how my daughter was doing.  In 18 years of taking my children to the dentist I never had a dentist that was so caring, and considerate. Dr. Fishman is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.   DR. SCOTT FISHMAN HAS MY VOTE AS BEING THE GREATEST PEDIATRIC  DENTIST IN THE WORLD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have to say that this was the BEST Dentist experience I have ever had! He was great with my daughter Giuliana. He was gentle and kind! I felt so comfortable that he was in-charge of my daughters dental care! I am going to recommend him to all that will listen! He takes all insurances, he doesn’t leave anyone out, so he really cares about your children, and that is rear! So if you have a child that needs a dentist this is the place to go! There is a play area for the kids with lots of toys and a TV for them to watch and be entertained while you wait, the front office staff was great! They are prompt in returning your call and always are very helpful! I can’t say enough! He is very detailed and explains everything and has a wonderful personality it makes you and your child at ease! I have to say this was an awesome 1st visit for my daughter! Thanks to Dr. Fishman I think she will look forward to the dentist instead of dreading it as most of us did!

Best Pediatric Dentist around! We began going to Dr. Fishman a year ago for our three girls. He was recommended when our youngest daughter was evaluated by a “so called” Pediatric Dentist in our area. He was unable to seek treatment for her decaying teeth, which was due to prolonged breastfeeding. We live in OC, and when it was recommended to go to Downey, we hesitated. But, after doing some research we felt comfortable taking the drive and scheduled all three girls. This was pre-covid, and we were impressed with the facility, staff, and most of all Dr. Fishman. He takes the time to talk, explain, and makes you feel comfortable with any treatment, whether treatment is needed immediately or it can wait. In regards to our youngest, he made some recommendations which were difficult for my wife to accept, but overall it was for the best. He advised for her to comeback when she turns two, which we did on 7/13/20. After her evaluation, he insisted an appointment was made immediately and found one a week later, since there still wasn’t any immediate pain. Although, we were unable to physically be in the room with our daughter, Dr. Fishman came out in the parking lot to talk to us, explain the procedures, and even talk a little about his own girls. From one #girldad to another he made us feel extremely comfortable throughout the entire process. Our daughter, now has an even more beautiful smile. To sum it all up, we even received a follow up call the same evening from Dr. Fishman himself asking how our daughter was doing. We will continue to make the drive to Downey for our girls, and continue to have Dr. Fishman as our true PEDIATRIC DENTIST! Thank you, and your entire staff for all that you do!
