Love, love, love these dentists and hygienists!  I drive all the way from Brandon for them because they work so well with children.  My daughter was 5 when she had to have a cavity filled and her current dentist would not deal with her anxieties.  He referred us to Pediatric Dentistry of Tampa.  That was over 3 years ago………and we never will leave!

We are so exceedingly grateful for Dr. Marta Rivera and her entire staff. My youngest had a very traumatic first visit – at another office – and I never thought I’d get him through the door without a screaming fit. Everyone was so kind and patient with both boys – the youngest will now walk back by himself. I wish they would take adults!

We have been coming to Dr. Marta since Jake was 3! She is the most caring Physician we know. She has built her practice from compassion, honesty and integrity. We will forever be greatful for how she’s treated Jake. We love her staff as well. Sasha can answer any and all questions – she is wonderful. Highly recommend Pediatric Dentistry of New Tampa!

This was my daughter’s first time at the dentist, she’s 2 and had to have 7 teeth operated on and this office was AMAZING. From start to finish she was so comfortable, the staff is so kind and does their best to make this a quick and comfortable experience for the kids and the parents. And the dentistry is beautifully done, her smile is so beautiful, she walks around the house pointing at her teeth saying “all clean mommy!”. Really appreciated mine and my daughter’s experience!

We love Dr. Marta. We have been seeing her for the last 4 years and we wouldn’t go anywhere else, even when we moved up to Wesley Chapel. She’s worth the drive. Her staff and office are friendly, she’s fast, and most importantly, competent. She has never offered extra add on services that weren’t needed to feel like I was being nickel and dimed (why we left the other dentist we tried in the area).

This post probably won’t stay up very long. However since you sent me the link to rate and comment, I will. We wereally led to this office by our pediatric dentistry our special needs child developed a cavity. The first meeting to decide how to handle his case was great. The next three were not so great. We understand we have a child on the spectrum who has Touretts as well and an anxiety disorder. He is under treatment for this and has been for some time. He can be aggressive when anxious. He can also be super friendly and loving when approached in a playful way and allowed to take part in his care. All of this was discussed in our first meeting. Our last appointment resulted in the Dr walking out of the room, not even bothering to talk to me when the child was calm. Which did occur as soon as he no longer felt threatened. He left hugging the hygienist. To us as parents it said everything you discussed with us on the first visit was great but none of it was put in practice. You showed us a special with dimmed lights and you had a soft stuffed dolphin for him to hold. You had a defuser going of essential oils to help calm a special needs child. You were playful and kind. None of this was available for any other appointments. This last appointment has set our child backwards from where he has progressed with his Drs. After treatment the family went through together, he has been able to attend his visits with a friendly loving attitude, now he doesn’t want to see any Dr. and only remembers the Dr walking out on him and thinks she didn’t like him. I believe further training is needed in handling special needs children. The staff up front has always been very friendly, no fault there. The hygienist figured it out in the end after a bad start. The Dr has lost my respect by not even conversing with me later when the child was calm and leaving my child with the impression that he was unlike. For the record, my child became aggressive and used language that he has learned from people in grocery stores and parks not from his environment. He also used his hands and feet to harm mostly me but towards the Dr when she came to close. This is part of his anxiety/autism disorder, a part he can not control according to his test results and Psychiatrist. I understand the Dr calling the appt. Not her walking out and not coming back. Nor the steps discussed our first visit not being used. Our child was already given a sedative before the appt. and was calm and happy before being called back.

My experience here has been wonderful. The entire office is beautifully decorated with great attention to detail. The staff is awesome, very friendly, helpful and attentive. Dr. Marta is better than I could have imagined. She takes her time with you and your child. I never feel rushed. She has a very warm and caring demeanor. I highly recommend her.
