I’ve been seeing Dr. Bolen for nearly a decade. When I first started seeing her, my gums were recessed and I couldn’t get my teeth cleaned without having to be numbed. I felt ashamed about having not taken good care of my teeth for many years, and I did not feel judged. She was very caring and helpful. She educated me about dental disease prevention, and over a number of months, she did a lot of dental work to get my teeth back to normal. Since then I haven’t had any cavities or serious problems. It’s because I follow all of her advice about prevention. Every time I see her, she always shares new information about caring for my teeth. She has a lot of integrity. Once she scheduled me for a filling and then after numbing me, admitted that she had made a mistake. I did not have a cavity. Most other dentists would have drilled anyway to save face. Additionally, she has her own practice, a very nice, quiet office. You’re in and out, and she really cares about helping her patients. I highly recommend her.

May 4, 2020. Went for my 6 month followup with Dr. Bolen, even though we are in a pandemic I AM SO GLAD I KEPT MY APPOINTMENT!!! Dr. Bolen sent me guide outlining the precautions her and her staff were taking along with how she is scheduling appointments 1 hr apart and sanitizing everything for each appointment. I was required to wear gloves and a mask to the appt. I was the only patient there, I didn’t see another patient until I was in my car! The office is completely sanitized and feels and smells so clean. Dr. Bolen and her staff are wearing gloves and masks at all times. They took good care of me, I’m so glad I kept my appt!

I have been seeing Dr. Bolen since I moved to Atlanta 4 years ago, at the recommendation of my former manager. Fact 1: I *never* pick up dentists from a service provider book because you simply don’t know what you’re going to get. I had some horrible experiences in other states I lived and wasn’t eager to repeat them. Dr. Bolen’s and her staff have been excellent with me. They are personable and they take the time to talk to you and answer questions. While the office is busy and she may not get to talk to you for an extended amount of time (it is a busy office), she always asks me if I have any questions or if something was unclear once she goes over the results with me. Over the course of the past few years her staff has changed, but one thing remains constant: they are helpful, polite, and go out of their way to accommodate their clients. That’s what customer service should be but unfortunately these days it is a lost art. Bottom line (at least for me): the next job I get must make tons of money, because if I move out of Atlanta, I’m taking her with me. That’s how committed I am when I get a good dentist or doctor.

If you are tired of going to large dentistry clinics or getting impersonal treatment, Dr. Bolen’s office is for you. Everyone in the office is customer focused and friendly. Upon arrival I was cheerfully greeted by receptionist. The hygienist, Vivian, respected my wishes to not use the hydrosonic cleaner and instead cleaned my teeth manually. She did a gentle and thorough job. Dr Bolen is friendly, professional and patient. She listened to my concerns, answered my questions and explained the course for further treatment. This is an excellent dental office. I recommend Dr. Bolen and her very professional and competent staff with my eyes closed. They were really helpful and I am definitely very satisfied. This office has not only a more than welcoming customer service but they are with you in every step. What I liked the most is the Staff guy, I just loved him. I met Dr. Bolen over 10 years ago by way of another dentist. I had an appointment with the main dentist, and the dentist was very rough handed. I did not care for her, so she sent in Dr. Bolen. What a world of difference! She was so gentle and caring. On my next appointment, I asked for Dr. Bolen again, and I learned she had left the practice. The office would not tell me where she was practicing. So, I canceled my appointment and proceeded to find Dr. Bolen. I have been a loyal patient ever since. Her office ambiance is nice. I was referred to Dr. Bolen by a very close friend. I informed her of what I was looking for in a dentist and I must say Dr. Bolen and her team did not disappoint! First, I was called to set up an appointment. I forgot her name but she was very pleasant. We were able to set a time that worked best for my schedule. Upon arriving, Ms. Kim was very helpful with directing me to the office. She asked a few questions and led me to the room I’d be in for my appointment. The room was setup to serve multiple purposes which is ideal in a practice. I received my x-rays and cleaning all while in the same chair and room. Ms. Kim continued to make me feel comfortable as she proceeded with my cleaning (polishing). She informed me of each step prior to beginning. Ms. Kim was also accommodating when asking for a Mint flavored paste. Soon after I was greeted by Dr. Bolen who was also very personable and knowledgeable. Dr. Bolen gave me tips on the best plan to enroll next year to receive necessary oral surgery services as well as recommendations on mouth guards. I must say I had a great experience overall. I would highly recommend her practice!
