I’ve had one of the most enjoyable dentist’s appointments I’ve ever had at Persona Dental Group thanks to Dr. Shaw and the Persona staff. You can clearly see they put a lot of effort into making their patients as comfortable as possible, be it the spacious patient rooms (which have access to Netflix!), the sheer technology they have at their disposal, or just the pleasant personalities of the staff. Dr. Shaw himself was very kind and spared no effort in making sure I understood everything that I needed to do for my teeth in the future. In my experience, the warmth and professionalism of the environment at Persona Dental Group is second to none. I highly recommend this dental office

If other dentists that I went to were like Dr. Shaw, I would never be afraid of going to the dentist. I have had amazing experience with this office! Everyone was super nice and the office was very bright , clean and inviting. Dr. Shaw is a very sincere, gentle and caring doctor. He doesn’t try to sell you anything you don’t need and he truly cares about your oral health. He explained every question that I had. He made sure I was comfortable thru the entire filling procedure. This dentist is awesome!! He is very thorough but is conservative on drilling. He will not fill or replace crowns unless it is necessary. The staff is very friendly and the office is impeccable. You can watch TV while you wait to lessen the stress. I would give them 10 stars if I could!

Persona Dental Group is the best. My wife had such bed teeth. She was afraid of dentists and wouldn’t go. I don’t know how I got her to agree to try them but she did. She feels so safe in their care she even went to an appointment by herself. The office is so clean and all the equipment looks brand new. They even have Netflix and a private TV for each guest. My parents have been taking me here since it has opened. Dr. Shaw and Dr. Ti are both great and always so nice. I am actually able to totally relax when I go to get my dental work done. Yes, I have fallen asleep more than once while getting my cavities done. Dr. Ti has fixed several cavities for me. Everyone is so nice, the office is very comfortable and clean. The couches and chairs are comfortable, and there are magazines and an iPad for entertainment in the waiting room. It would be nice if the wifi is more easily accessible. Persona Dental is the place to go for dental work. Highly recommend and 5 stars!!!

Honestly, I had great experiences here within these years, Dr. Shaw is the greatest dentist I have ever had so far. I trust Dr. Shaw more than other dentists I had been to before, and I kept going back to his office for my treatments. As everyone else, I hate the pain during the treatment, YET Dr. Shaw had done well to deal with it. I have sensitive teeth, and every dentists I had before were doing so-so on anesthesia, thus I was still suffering in pain, and they had to do another injection of anesthetic again during the treatment ( so careless….and I had to wait/waste probably another 15-30 mins for additional dose of anesthetic kicked in and dentist coming back for my rest of treatment). Dr. Shaw did carefully take care of my case, and I felt NO PAIN at all. His techniques is so good and professional, and I don’t have any problem with my treated teeth after. !!!~ The environment is cleaned and comfortable!! I love it

Persona Dental is what all dental clinics should be!! Dr. Shaw is a cool guy. I had a tooth that has been giving me problem. He took time to explain and clearly show me the problem I have had. He suggested filling to fix it. I don’t feel I was pressured to have any extra procedures done that were not necessary. During the procedure, he made sure I was comfortable and checked with me several time to note my comfort level. He made me feel really painless. The Front office is very friendly. Checked my insurance first and explained my insurance coverage clearly. Hate to go to my previous dentist and waited for an hour or two. Here, they are trying their best to take care of the patients with minimum waiting time. The entire staff genuinely cares about their patients. This is the first time I have ever been to a dentist where I fully enjoyed the experience. I highly recommend this clinic

BEST dental experience EVER!!! Thanks!!! Thanks to all of Yelpers who recommended this place. Clean office, friendly & professional staff and definitely the BEST dentist I ever have met. Dr. Shaw really really cares about his patient. He constantly asked if I felt alright while working on my teeth and made me feel very comfortable through entire procedure. From my first appointment, he went over and addressed/explained all of concern or issues. He just finished my implant and crown, I have never felt a pain or discomfort for the entire procedure. Of course, the result is great that I feel I get my real tooth back, not the dental implant. Staff notified me any payment in advance. No surprise!!! Don’t need to look at complicate insurance bill. If you have dentist anxiety or you are looking for dentist to take care of your oral health, I cannot recommend Dr. Shaw and his staff enough. I wish I can give this office more stars

For those of you that fear going to the dentist, rest assure that Dr. Shaw will change your view and mindset. He’s thorough. He’s efficient and very knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. The Persona Dental office is up to date and clean. The staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. I moved away from CA and haven’t been lucky enough to find a dentist to come anywhere close to the service received at Persona. As for my opinion, if I can make a way to travel to CA twice a year for my 6 mth checkups with Dr Shaw, then that’s the extreme I’m willing to go. TOTALLY WORTH IT!!

I’ve been coming to Dr.Shaw for five years now. Even after moving to Irvine, I still drive up to an hour sometimes just to see the dentist. My entire family drives up Just to See this dentist and all these years I’ve seen nothing but improvement and more convenience.. APPOINTMENT. They’re easy to make and the office is very polite and accommodating in switching appointments. They send texts before that appt you made half a year ago and ask for confirmation in case you realize you’re actually busy that day. PROFESSIONAL. The office is clean and the process is usually smooth with a short wait time if you’ve made an appointment. The equipment they use seem high tech especially compared to other private family practices, and Dr. Shaw as well as the other dentists are easy to make conversation with. The people really make going to the dentist less a less intimidating experience. AESTHETICS It’s what you’ve always wanted from a dentist office. Typically quiet and clean, with various magazines and an iPad in the waiting room for entertainment. While the dentist do magic on my rotten teeth, I get to watch Friends on Netflix, although to be honest, I usually knock out asleep while Dr. Shaw is fixing my teeth

I’m thankful I found a dental office that offers a good service and doesn’t try to sell you a dental package that costs arms and legs. The overall experience is great. I hate going to the dentist! In fact, I had not had a cleaning in many years until today. Dr. Shaw and his staff are all very friendly and made me feel much more at ease. They were gentle and genuinely concerned with making sure my cleaning was painless and stress free. I also like that the office was very clean and up to date. This is not an old fashion dentist office! They used tools to clean my teeth that I had never seen before and they were painless! Dr. Shaw is very involved in your visit unlike other dentists who you see only at the end of your appointment. He actually did the majority of the scraping. I dont know about you but I felt comforted that the person wielding a sharp metal poker near my gums had a doctorate! Which isn’t to say that his dental technicians weren’t skilled or gentle, because they were just that! I will be visiting Persona Dental in the future and would recommend anyone go there, especially if you are nervous about dental appointments.

The office is extremely clean and their equipment is top notch. You even get to watch your choice of Netflix movies/shows while you are in the chair. =) Each assistant is very professional, gentle, and always asking if you are okay.
