I have been going to Personal Care Dentistry for a number of years. I came across Personal Care Dentistry because my last dental group told me that I needed an expensive undertaking for my teeth. Personal Care Dentistry recommended a simple, reasonably-priced option that worked perfectly. The staff and dentists there are always very friendly, understanding, accommodating and do an excellent job on my teeth. Many of the hygienists have given me great tips that have worked very well. I am so happy I found Personal Care Dentistry.

HONEST, PROFESSIONAL, KIND, TIMELY, and NO PAIN – I LOVE Dr. Hunt and his team! They were highly recommended to me, and I highly recommend them to others! My sister recommended Dr. Hunt, and I am so glad that I finally took her advice. I have had a lot of dental work performed, and have visited several local dentists in an effort to find my permanent dentist. My search is now over! My first visit with Dr. Hunt was on an emergency basis, and they fit me in and took great care of me. He and his team were professional, kind, timely, and HONEST… honest about the service needed for my current emergency and honest about those services needed to address my other dental issues/concerns. Having already received a comprehensive dental treatment plan from another local dentist, my emergency visit with Dr. Hunt also served as my “second opinion” for the additional treatments recommended by my prior dentist. And, I am so glad I sought that second opinion from Dr. Hunt! Rather than the $30,000+ treatment plan received from my prior dentist (this in addition to the $10,000+ already spent), the fees related to Dr. Hunt’s initial plan were SIGNIFICANTLY less, while still addressing my dental issues/concerns. Rather than swindle me out of money for unnecessary procedures, Dr. Hunt gave me an honest assessment of what I needed, which will result in a great smile! I am so thankful and grateful to Dr. Hunt and his team (and of course my sister for the awesome recommendation), and look forward to working with them in the future. Abbey W.

So to say that I hated the dentist was an understatement. I called at 7am with a minor dental emergency. The women at the front desk were nice, and listened to the problems I was having, and I was told to come in right away. After arriving I was greeted with smiles and a gift bag was handed to me for coming in. I had to fill out very little paper work, and while I was doing so I was called back to the room. I had no appointment and a wait of maybe 10 minutes? After going back to the room I was again greeted with smiles and TRUE concern. I have very bad teeth and expressed this to Dr. Hunt. He made me feel as though I was a human and not just another “patient” he truly cared and had true concern for the matters going on. Again with no appointment Dr. Hunt had started my root canal to get me out of pain. I left with a smile on my face. This will be my dentist for the rest of my life. No words can ever be expressed as to how grateful I am for Dr. Hunt and his team!

Personal Care is a great place to choose if you want a dentist that actually cares about your needs. They have a friendly and comfortable environment that eases the anxiety that might accompany going to the dentist, and the staff is fabulous, always making me feel welcome and at ease. They have a lot of medical technology that seems really cutting edge (not that I know a lot about dental technology, but the x-rays were able to be rendered which was pretty cool, and there seems to be a lot of other things like that around their office). I always saw the younger Dr. Hunt, and he is one of the nicest doctors I’ve had. I always ask a ton of questions and he was always polite enough to humor me. He also is very calming, and he and his assistant are always really good about explaining what they are about to do to prepare you. All of the work I’ve had done was completed really quickly too. At my first visit they took x-rays and came up with a plan for me to get the dental work I needed done in a reasonable way, and afterwards I sat down with one of the staff to make sure that the work could be done within my insurance plan. Knowing that my billing was squared away and wasn’t something I had to worry about was also quite nice. Whenever I was due for work or my cleanings I would get a call from one of the staff reminding me, which means that I basically always just had to show up! And one time when I was running late for when I needed to show up they worked around me, which was something I really, really appreciated. I’m moving to a new state now, and they made to process of transferring all of my records over as easy as a signed paper and an email. I’m miss going to Personal Care, and I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a new dentist.

My husband and I have been going to Personal Care Dentistry for over 30 years. Specifically, we’ve been attended to by Dr. Walter Hunt. We couldn’t ask for any better service. We strongly recommend this practice. The office itself is quite lovely, the personnel is professional, efficient and always very friendly. Thank you Dr. Hunt!!

I drive a little ways to come here because I love the atmosphere. Before I started going to Personal Care Dentistry, I hated (HATED) going to the dentist. They really care and listen and make sure I am comfortable. They remember me and make each visit personable. HIGHLY recommended.

I’m an avid yelp app user and discovered this dentist there. This is my first visit there to work on a small chip in my front tooth from biting on things to open them. For future reference. . Do not use teeth. Use scissors! Check in and registration were computerized. This was quick compared to Metro Dental. It does concern me some what only because if you are like me where you are on medications that these medications don’t affect the treatments given. Kyle the owners son quickly sanded down the tiny chip and smoothed it out. No further attention needed. I mentioned a concerned for teeth heaps beginning to show. He didn’t push cosmetic procedures. He stated no concern unless it bothered me. Wait time was minimal. . 20 minutes. I did make an appointment for myself and 2 others on the same day. They fit us all in. Relaxing waiting area with coffee and tea service. Bottled water also available. Going back to have $3,000 worth of dental work done for a 15 year old and roommate due to 3 root canals as well as several cavities. This is a preferred location for Delta Dental PPO.

I have been going to Personal Care Dentistry for over 30 years. My experience there is always top notch from start to finish. The moment I walk in the door, I’m greeted with a smile and by name. The hygienist is always engaging and efficient. Dr. Hunt and his team have taken excellent care of my teeth through the years. And, when I’ve had work done outside of the regularly scheduled cleanings, the team provided a thorough estimate and talked me through the process so that I knew what to expect. I would happily recommend this dentist to anyone.

Walter Hunt is a fantastic and professional dentist. I have been to see him several times and I am always impressed with his services. He is fast and professional and his rates are extremely competitive – $69 for an exam, x-ray and cleaning is a steal, especially for people like myself without dental insurance. I highly recommend Personal Care Dentistry and they will definitely continue to have my business.

Switched to Personal Care Dentistry about 3 years ago and the experience has been great. My dental hygienist Jenna keeps my teeth in great shape and is a pleasure to chat with. She always makes sure you are comfortable and doesn’t shame you if you don’t floss daily!! The office has been recently renovated and waiting room is spacious and inviting. All the dentists and office staff I’ve interacted with have also been very pleasant. Nice work Personal Care Dentistry!

I was referred to Personal Care Dentistry by a good friend whose family has been treated here for years. And I am so thankful for her recommendation as Dr. Hunt and his staff are exceptional! It has been 4+ years since my last dental visit and they treat you like family immediately upon the first visit. They are truly kind, caring and do great work. It is very pleasant doing something that can cause so much anxiety. I will be happy to recommend this place to everyone. 🙂
