I highly recommend Playa District Dental. Dr. Erik Ligans succeeded my highest expectations; Dr. Erik has great work ethic’s moreover, Dr. Erik mastered his profession. My day at the dentist was painless also, his dental assistant Sulma was great and very knowledgeable; the hygienist was great as well an took pride in her work. The whole staff was great. I’m happy to drive further from my former Beverly Hills dentist to my now new dentist. Thank you Dr. Erik & P.D.D.

This was the absolute best dental experience I’ve ever had! From the front desk, to the dental assistant and of course Dr. E, everyone in the office has such an amazing spirit and made me feel extremely comfortable. They continuously made sure I wasn’t in pain and kept me in the know each step of my procedure. Thank you Dr. E and staff for creating a welcoming and satisfying day at the dentist 🙂

This place was great! They found a lot of things I suspected were an issue and I am booked to return very soon to take care of it. Pandemic days made me delay seeing the dentist longer than I would have preferred, but they were very upbeat about what they found. I’ll be using them again in the future!

I had a great first visit with Dr. E. Everyone was so friendly and helped me get my insurance details sorted out. I had x-rays done and a cavity filled, all while watching Netflix! The office is beautiful and modern. Dr. E and his team explained everything that they were doing to me and checked in often to make sure I was as comfortable as can be. I was so impressed with the technology used and how great the process was. Definitely would recommend pulling up on Dr. E!

I had an amazing experience here at Playa District Dental. Eric and his team are very welcoming and provide excellent customer service. Unlike the other dentists I have experienced, they are very thorough and provide you with a clear understanding of the overall work you need done and they are ready to help you get started immediately. The staff is very interactive and helpful. They told me what to expect before the procedure and after the procedure, the staff called and checked on me to make sure that I wasn’t experiencing any issues. They are the definition of going above and beyond and actually make going to the dentist enjoyable! I will definitely be recommending them to my family and friends!

Dr. E and his staff were professional, helpful, and knowledgeable. I normally have anxiety about going to the dentist, but Dr. E and his staff made me feel very comfortable. Additionally the facility is state of the art, I got to watch TV while getting my teeth examined! I would highly recommend Playa District Dental!

This was my second visit to Dr. E. This time I wanted to see what could be done about the spaces between my teeth. He was very thorough in his assessment and paid very close attention to detail. He immediately gave his professional opinion on what was best for me. He recommended Invisalign. Impressions of my teeth were taken that day and before I could blink my eyes, my Invisalign trays were ready within 3 weeks!! I was so excited. When I picked up my Invisalign he was incredible at explaining how to put them on, remove them and care for them. Dr. E and his staff are amazing and treat u like family. I travel over on hour to visit Dr. E because he is a true professional and is honestly the best dentist I’ve ever been to. I highly recommend him for all your dental care needs.

Playa District Dental is the best place I have ever been to for my dentistry needs!! I’ve been to several places over the years and none have come close to the great experience I had here at this place !!!! Dr E. and All of the staff there are extremely professional and knowledgeable.. Also they are friendly and provided me with the best care !! I have to admit, going to the dentist is my least favorite place to be but since going to Playa District Dental, I have totally changed my perspective. I’ve had many visits at this dental office. My first impression was— WOW! This is the nicest dentist I’ve ever been to. Very modern & always clean. & a great view in every room, as well as a tv. Next, I was very impressed with how personable and hospitable the staff was. Very nice and genuine people, it helped immensely to calm my nerves about my check-up and subsequent procedures. Dr. E himself is an all around great guy. Very charismatic and down to earth, while still being very professional. Now let’s talk about my experience with my procedures— Cleaning: fast & thorough Fills: fast and very little to no discomfort Root canal: fast, painless and very fast recovery & a realistic porcelain crown that was made same day in office Wisdom teeth extraction: fast, painless and very fast recovery Teeth whitening: fast, minor sensitivity, and my teeth look great Retainer: fast molding & it feels great The thing I love most about this dentist, besides the amazing staff, is the flexible and quick scheduling. I was able to squeeze in all these procedures within a small time frame, and I never had to wait. 10/10 recommend.

I can’t express my gratitude to Playa District Dental team and special thanks to Karely who took care of my deep clean.  After a really bad experience at the age of 14 it always takes me time to revisit the dentist and now, aged 34 it was time to be brave again.  Dr. E was so kind and calm when explaining my plan of treatment and made me feel at ease that my experience would be nothing like I had previously experienced.  The whole team is such a friendly presence and during ny deep clean treatment Karely treated me with care and kindness explaining every step and continuously made sure I wasn’t in pain.  Awesome work!

I’ve seen Dr E twice now, and each time the staff was welcoming and warm, and my work went so smoothly that I had forgotten I was at a dentist’s office! The office is high-tech, and it seems like Dr E’s using the latest dentistry tools and systems making the experience as a whole super comfortable. Never had to wait more than a few minutes, and I was out in less than an hour (but this was also because I like the staff and talk with them). I’m very happy with my service, and look forward to going back! I’d never thought I’d say that, but my experience with Playa District Dental made it so. Go pull up on Dr E! You won’t be disappointed.

Dr. E is truly a life saver. I chipped my front tooth and was in a state of panic. I contacted his office and he got me in within a day. He was able to fix my tooth with no numbing at all.. I’m so happy I was able to experience the great work and hospitality this office has to offer. I will definitely be getting my work done here moving forward!!!!

I have been to many dentists and I can say that Dr. Erik is by far the best!! The staff was so friendly and kind. They were reassuring and made me feel at ease…Ari at the front desk was super cool…his assistant , I’m sorry I forgot her name, but she was excellent in assisting Dr. Erik with my procedure…I never had a tooth extraction and yep, I was nervous and a little fearful…. Long story short the Dr. said my tooth was out but I was still waiting to feel it!!!! Didn’t feel a thing!! I’m At home resting and will follow the instructions that were given.. Dr Erik is outstanding!!

Never ever did I think that when someone asked me how my day was I would say, “It was great! I went to the dentist today and LOVED it”! Dr. E and his staff are incredibly warm and welcoming. The wonderful customer service started before I even walked in the door….Ari is a gem! The office is clean and as the youngsters say, “a vibe.” Netflix in the chair? Amazing! I was even offered a blanket if I was cold. This certainly is not your usual cringe-worthy dentist office. They truly made a routine cleaning an enjoyable experience!

First of all, The best Dentist ever! 2ndly the office is gorgeous, clean and hip. My husband and so moved to LA not knowing a thing about the health providers here so finding good ones has been a struggle! Until we stumbled upon Dr. E’s office doing a random Google search and I’m so glad we did! Finding a good dentist is so hard and I’ve dreaded dental visits since I was a kid. Not with Dr.E! His bedside manner is top tier. You feel like you’ve known him forever as soon as you meet him. His staff is the same. Very friendly, sociable and professional at the same time. I love coming into this office. I just had 4 fillings replaced and it was the best experience. I just laid back , they handed me the remote to watch whatever Netflix show I wanted as he lowered the mounted flatscreen Tv and they were finished before I finished the 3rd episode of INK MASTER. It’s the luxury for meeeee! Do your teeth and gums a favor and just book!

First;I received same day appointment. That’s unheard of. Upon arrival I’d completed my new patient forms therefore my check in was nice and simple. The front “office” receptionist were sweet and welcoming. The hygienist was ready at my scheduled time. She took her time. The office was clean and beautiful. The views were nice, and I was offered Netflix to watch as I went through the cleaning process. I’m pregnant which has caused inflammation in my gum causing some pain. Everyone was patient and met all my needs.I’ve already recommended a few people to visit this location; very pleased. Thank you,

This is the most friendly and welcoming dental staff I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. Ari is so sweet and Sid is so reassuring and easy to talk to. Dr. E is very thorough and gentle while working. The whole staff is very communicative which made for a very smooth and enjoyable visit. The building is very well kept and the office is gorgeous! I initially came for a cleaning and walked out with more knowledge than I’ve ever had from any of my previous dentists. Although the office is quite the drive for me, it is well worth it. I completely recommend Dr. E for any of your dental needs. Pull up, you will not regret it.

Pleasant experience at the dentist office isn’t a phrase you often hear, but that’s exactly what the experience at Playa District Dental is. The Dr. and the rest of the team are thorough, explaining what they are doing as they are doing it. The ability to watch Netflix during the process is a subtle plus.

Most enjoyable dental visit I have ever experienced! Dr. E and his staff are so friendly and welcoming that it’s easy to forget that you are at the dentist. The entire facility is extremely clean and there is such a luxurious feel as soon as you walk in. Dr.E is extremely knowledgeable, very professional and has changed the game in dental visits.

Dr. E was incredibly informed, transparent, and pleasant during my first visit. The office is very clean and all of the staff are polite and helpful. I appreciate the additions like a TV to watch while getting your procedure, and all of the technology used to take X-Rays. Getting a face mask or Starbucks gift card at the end was also a nice touch! I usually dread going to this dentist, but this office has turned around my perspective.

Very honest and genuine. I had to leave and pick up my son from daycare and made it back around 4:15pm and was finished by 4:49pm. The very friendly ladies at the reception counter even helped watch my 15 month old son while we waited for his mother to get off work. This place is swift and quick. Even though it’s out of network, I think this may just be my new primary dentist.
