I have been a patient of Dr. Porter’s for a while now, but recently had a wisdom tooth that was infected and had become an emergent situation. Dr. Porter had previously referred me to an oral surgeon but I had not been yet. I had pain over the weekend and then woke up Tuesday completely swollen and painful. I called Dr. Porter’s office and they worked me in the same day. Not only was I seen that day, but Dr. Porter was also able to pull the wisdom tooth out because he said it needed to come out right away. Dr. Porter made me feel comfortable the entire time, even though it was very traumatic. I would (and have) recommended his services to anyone!

I chose Dr. Porter’s office when I was looking for a dentist for my young son. I had personally not been to the dentist for a long time because I’d had bad experiences in the past and I didn’t want my son to go through that. I’m so glad I found Dr. Porter and his whole staff. My son and I have been patients for 20 years or more. They have done so much to improve my dental health and they are like family to me. They stay up to date with the latest technologies and techniques, and I’ve had nothing but great trips to their office. 5 stars

I come from a family steeped in Dentistry, hence, very hard to please. I’ve lived in Charlotte since 2009 and until now continued to return to my dentist from years past in Raleigh. BUT, NO MORE! Dr. Charles Porter is not only a very skilled and intelligent dentist, with excellent technique (so important when it comes to your dental health as without this skill, more damage than good can result), he is also very personable! The complete package! I HIGHLY recommend!

Dr. Porter is a wonderful dentist. I have been going to him for the last 8 years. Dr. Porter and his staff have always explained all procedures or courses of treatment, so I know what needs to be done. He has a machine which makes crowns right in the office so you don’t have to come back! I also like that they start at 7:00 am and I have come many times before work. The staff is always very friendly.
