I’m not a huge fan of going to the dentist (like many people) and have had some really awful dental hygienists who either had terrible bed side manner or didn’t listen to my questions/concerns. This was by far the most pleasant experience I have ever had! I can’t say I look forward to going to the dentist still but I am at least comforted knowing that the staff at Portland Modern Dentistry have my best interest at heart and truly listen to my concerns and don’t get frustrated when I start getting super anxious or need a moment to collect myself. I really appreciate that they have an affordable payment plan since I don’t have any form of dental insurance and I had kind of resigned myself to never being able to afford going to the dentist again. I highly recommend them to anyone who, like me, has severe anxiety when it comes to the dentist or who doesn’t have insurance!

From the moment I walked in the door at Portland Modern Dentistry and was promptly greeted by their cheerful, smiling, and knowledgeable, front office personnel, I could tell this dental experience was going to be different than any dental experience I had ever had. Dr. Todd’s assistants, and Dr. Todd himself, did not disappoint. Dr. Todd talked to me the entire time he was working on me, letting me know exactly what he was doing, and what to expect next. I am so pleased with my experience I will definitely be claiming Portland Modern Dentistry, Dr. Todd, and his staff, my official dentist office!

I went to this dental office for the first time the other day to get a teeth cleaning, and I have to say it was the best experience I’ve ever had as far as dentist appointments go. Dr. Todd and his team are truly exceptional. He answered all of my questions, gave me some great advice, and was very professional. I recently had an awful experience elsewhere, but they made me feel really comfortable. The process was quick and pain free and I left feeling great! I am excited that I’ve found this office and won’t be going anywhere else. Overall I give this place 5 stars and would recommend it to anyone and everyone!

Dr. Todd is the man! Him and his staff are such a fun and diligent team. They’re upfront about all procedures and do one helluva job. Not to mention this is the most tech advanced dentist office i’ve ever been to. Hands down best experience i’ve ever had getting my teeth cleaned. Not many people can say that about a dentist. Definitely found my new guy for good!

Hands down the best dentist I have ever seen. Every staff member there is super knowledgeable, friendly, and work really hard to meet your needs! I’ve had two emergency visits That they got me in same day for, as well as regular visits and I must say it’s a great experience. Not to mention their COVID-19 protocols are on point!

I was able to get an appointment within 2 days by booking online (extra bonus points). I just want to say that I have a lot of anxiety about the dentist. Dr. Todd kept me informed when going through the x-rays and then later with the fillings. Sequoia was amazing and got through like 20 x-rays with photos super fast, with a great sense of humor and warmth. The receptionist (I think his name was David) was also very nice, had a great sense of humor and talked me through the expenses of my anticipated services. I didn’t feel pressured by anyone on the team to get an implant or any other dental work I felt unnecessary. I also wasn’t shamed by Sequoia or Dr. Todd for my cavities or anything else “wrong” with my teeth which has happened everywhere else. I went on a Friday morning during covid (December 2020) and I’m pretty sure I was the only client there as the day progressed. I got a cleaning, X-rays, and 3 fillings (unexpected) done within 2 hours. Masks were worn by providers, however, no additional face shields as I have seen at other offices. Amazing team! I will definitely be back and recommending others.

Dr. Todd is an amazing dentist and someone I completely trust with my dental care. I really cannot brag enough about this place. I highly recommend this office.

Everyone from Devin at the front desk to Dr. Todd was very friendly and helpful during my visit. The experience was very streamlined and the office had a good personality/sense of humor. I got a filling and they explained my options and broke down how much I would pay with and without my insurance before agreeing to anything. Would recommend to anyone!

I can’t reccomend this dental practice highly enough, this was by far one of the best experiences I have ever had with a dentist office. Every single team member I encountered, from the front desk, to the assistant, to the hygienest down the the dentist themselves were not only excellent at their jobs but are extremely nice with top notch customer service skills. They were able to get me in quickly without any long waits. The office was clean with modern equipment. They were very honest and straightforward about treatments only reccomending things that I really needed and making sure I throughly understood everything. The pricing was also very reasonable. I am so glad I found them, I won’t be going anywhere else now!
