Dr. Abdelrazek is extremely skilled. I believe she is gifted. The woman is incredible. I have been going to this dentist for the past couple of years, since moving to this area, and have been extremely happy with the dentist and the whole staff. I have been going to Dr. Jailan for over 4 years now, and I clean my teeth with Evette. The front desk staff are very helpful and knowledgable with insurance claims and issues. The doctor is so sweet and has the lightest hand.. you will never feel worried when you are in her care. I found out about this place from my coworker about 2 years ago and am so happy I did. Ive been to MANY dentists over the years and this place if by FAR the best Ive seen yet. Im also one of those that never leaves the dentist with a clean bill of health (partially my own fault lol..but I have cavity prone teeth as well) so I need someone who knows what they’re doing and some coaching too..Before coming here my recollection of dental visits was always dreadful or painful and I never looked forward to them because I ALWAYS had to get fillings. My first visit here they discovered I had 12 cavities so I had to return 4 more times for that work and never in my life have I had such a painless and easy experience. Before each procedure they made sure I was comfortable complete with a pillow (lol) as well as headphones so I could pick a movie from their DVD collection and sit back and relax while they worked on my teeth. I think they not only have top notch tools, they KNOW what they’re doing and they all do it very well. I was already blown away with the excellent customer service after my first visit but EVERY visit Ive left there the same way, happy and feeling well taken care of. Another reason why Im even bothering to take a few moments to praise them on yelp, because they truly deserve it. I feel the entire staff is genuine and truly care about your health and teeth. Yvette is my hygienist and she is truly awesome at what she does. She was however on maternity leave and recently returned, but due to that I had one cleaning with a different hygienist and left there still happy, they all do a great job. Dr. Jailan Abderlrazek is always a pleasure to meet with after my cleanings too and if VERY thorough. Tina (office manager) usually is the one helping to check me out. My first visit she gave me a folder with much needed information for issues with my mouth as well as a whole treatment plan broken down complete with pricing (what insurance may pay and what my out of pocket costs will likely be). I have no desire to look further or price check other offices because I truly feel this place is the best. Ive recommended all my family and friends to go here. I have been seeing Dr. Abdelrazek and her team at Potomac Falls Family Dentistry for many years. She is a wonderful doctor that is always kind, honest and knowledgeable. Dr. Abdelrazek has taken incredibly great care of me over the years with all my dental needs from preventative to restoration and beautiful veneers. Recently I moved out of state, and sadly had to find a new dentist. I came in unexpectedly for a loose cap. I did a random google search and found this gem of an office by luck. I was greeted with smiles and good attitudes behind the desk. I didnt even have to wait that long to be seen. When the doctor’s assistant came to take me back she immediately made me feel comfortable, not like any other dental offices. She took xrays and pictures with a small oral camera to show me my problem areas and then the doctor came in. She was very polite and friendly and gave me options regarding the reason I came in. I felt I was being taken care of and this afforded me to ask some of my own questions about invisalign and gave me some really important information. They were quick and absolutely wonderful! I already have my next appointment set up. I was very pleased with my visit on 01/11/19.

I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Abdelrazek and her team. I was looking for a dentist in the area and cracked a tooth from grinding my teeth (because, 2020) and they got me in right away. They made sure I was covered and couldn’t have been clearer about cost for what needed to be done. I had never had a crown done before and was pretty nervous. Have to admit, the first time I came here they told me I had ten cavities and pre-gum disease, I thought they were full of it. I’d been to another dentist about 9 months prior and everything was “ok.” So how did my dental health fall so far, so quickly? I have had cavities on my molars pretty regular throughout my adult life. I’ve had porcelain fillings, silver amalgam fillings multiple times over on the same 9 teeth for the past 35 years. They eventually crack, fall out, or more cavity starts around the edge of the filling. Trouble is, the prior dentists would drill a little hole, fill it, and leave my molar surfaces with all these hills and valleys and pockets… toothbrush couldn’t ferret out plaque and crap, nor floss. Water flosser could do it- sometimes with a lot of pain because the pits were so deep. I gotta say this: when Dr Abdelrazek started filling my cavities, she did it like no one else has ever done it- she excavated the entire top surfaces of my molars, grinding out all the hills, valleys, chasms, and pits, then filled in with a smooth, upper/lower perfect-fitting topology. I can now brush the tops of my teeth and get them clean, they mesh together and chew like never before, and I finally feel like I have fillings that will last more than 3 or 4 years. Did I really have 10 cavities (includes the “almost-cavities”)? I don’t care – my teeth have had a quantum improvement in form, fit, function, and health. I feel like Dr Abdelrazek is actually fixing issues and paying attention, focusing on better health of the whole system, not just 28 individual chompers.

Dr Abdelrazek is one of the best dentists I have ever met. She is very passionate about her work and takes all her time to diagnose the problem and treat it the right way. My husband had severe pain in his tooth and gum. Food was always stuck between the teeth, he went to several dentists and none of them was ever able to diagnose his problem. At last he went to Dr. Abdelrazek, and she gave him the time and successfully was able to give the correct diagnose. She treated him the right way and now at last after six months of extreme pain, he is now pain free. I highly recommend her as one of the top dentists who loves her job and is very passionate about it.

My Hours Are Not Dentist Friendly It is amazing how easy it is to ignore a problem. And ignore it I did! Until one day, I realized – I’m not chewing with any of my back teeth… So I went in search of a dentist. Normally this search is pretty easy but my current job takes up A LOT of my week. I was limited to a dentist who could meet my hours, and that’s not necessarily a dentist anyone wants! I actually made a few calls to see if some “highly rated” dentists would make an exception and come in a mere 30 minutes early for me. But they simply replied with their stated hours. Then I found Potomac Falls Family Dentistry, which opened at 7 am (can you imagine?) two days of the week. I thought, “Why not?” It’s almost an understatement to say they are friendly. 7am, this dentistry is almost cheerful I would say. But the best part is that the dentist not only listens to you, but she also reads your body language. I’ll admit, my teeth are sensitive to drills! But I will suffer the consequences to get them fixed. This doctor will make sure your teeth are fixed pain-free. No curling of toes, no eye-squeezed shut. They never make you feel like an outsider, and chat with you like you’re part of their family. They did two root canals, two crowns, and an embarrassing amount of fillings on me. And I would go back to them any month of the year.

Dr. Abdelrazek and her assistant made my first experience very comfortable without anesthesia, instead they used a high precision laser that’s practically painless. Dr. Abdelrazek and her staff are seriously the best of the best! While travelling during Thanksgiving break I found myself in state that had no urgent care centers open due to the holiday. Experiencing the worst tooth ache in the world, I thoughted it out for the trip back home to NOVA. I called my regular Dentist (now former Dentist) on their emergency line and messaged them probably 20 times and I got no response, mind you I had been with this practice for 12+ years! Desperate for a Dentist, I went online on ZocDoc and found Dr. Abdelrazek and she was available for an emergency visit early in the morning. I told Dr. Abdelrazek that I had been to the Dentist earlier in the year for a checkup and was informed by my dentist that I suffered from TMJ and the pain that I was feeling back then was related to that. Dr. Abdelrazek listened carefully to everything I was telling her and performed some tests to identify whether or not my tooth pain was TMJ or in fact an abscess. Using the most up to date technology and tools, she performed an electrical tap test (something that was never done at my previous dentist) and basically determined that my back molar had an abscess forming for probably 3+ years. I had been to the dentist every year twice a year and my pain was disregarded as TMJ… Dr. Abdelrazek scheduled me for an emergency root canal the very next day! After my root Canal, the Dental Assistant Sam and even Dr. Abdelrazek called to follow-up with me to see how I was feeling, ensure antibiotics were strong enough and I was no longer feeling pain. Their office scheduled me for 2 subsequent appointments all within one week! Again, using all the latest tech they used a 3D imaging technique to ensure the crown fitting would be perfect. I asked a lot of questions regarding the tools and technology being used. Dr. Abdelrazek explained it to me so I could understand, always being very professional and very patient. Fast forward to today, I was officially crowned by Dr. Abdelrazek (hahha they called me a queen today). Crown fit perfectly and honestly the service I received from this office from the Office Manager, Tina to the Dental Assistant, Sam just beyond 5 stars! I am so happy I found Dr. Abdelrazek and her staff. Just amazing women and fantastic service! Please do not hesitate to switch over to this practice, you will not regret it! Thank you Dr. Abdelrazek for such stellar service.

I was truly amazed by how thorough, caring, professional, knowledgeable and skilled Dr. Abdelrazek was. After many months of real suffering and deep pain I finally found a doctor who can really identify the problem and and swiftly act to provide a real solution. She took the time, really listened and meticulously examined my teeth and gum not only pointing the obvious but actually spotting a hidden pocket formed by loss of bone and which was a very hard to find source of the major problem. Something that was not seen by other doctors. The treatment plan was spot on and throughout the process she ensured moment by moment that I was not experiencing any pain. Dr. Abelrazek has also an incredible team of professionals trained to act on her subtle gestures to keep her focused on her delicate work. Dr. Abdelrazek and the team members at Potomac Family Dentistry are absolutely amazing! Most recently, I found myself in the middle of a dental emergency where I was in sever pain. I called the office to schedule an appointment and Tina insisted that I come in the same day. I later found out that I needed a root canal due to an infection and had I waited, the pain would have only worsened. I am forever grateful to be a patient at this practice as every staff member cares about the well being of their patients.
