I’ve referred my friends Dr. Dang’s way, and I don’t even refer them to my favorite restaurants. It’s the strangest thing to be so excited about a talented dentist. Dr. Dang is someone who actually cares about his patients and takes the time to discuss their needs with them. I’m able to be open and honest about my bad habits, and instead of shaming me or making me feel guilty about them, he encourages me to take better care of myself. I am, after all, only cheating myself when I don’t floss! He is incredibly conservative and honest in his diagnoses and procedural recommendations. He will always describe what he is doing, and why, and answers all of my questions in a way that I can understand the science behind his methodologies. He’s the kindest, smartest, gentlest, and most thorough dentist I’ve ever been to. He truly has a passion for what he does. Since I’ve been with him, I have actually started taking much better care of my teeth! My friends that I’ve referred his way absolutely raved about him. You can’t go wrong choosing Dr. Dang and Precision Dental. If you want to be somewhere you’ll be taken care of, THIS is the place to go!

Dr Dang got me in right away after I developed a severe toothache, seriously I was crying on my way in it hurt so bad! He was able to identify the problem right away and had me out of pain by that night! I was so scared to get any work done, so the idea of a root canal was really scary but he made me very comfortable! His staff are great too, they were so welcoming and helpful! I highly recommend Dr. Dang and will see him for all my future dental needs!

Wow! I really lucked out finding Dr. Dang and his staff! The dentist, Veronica, and Ann Marie were all amazing! Some of the nicest people I’ve met! Dr. Dang made me feel so comfortable and at ease. It looks like they only hire the best and most experienced assistants and receptionists. I was able to book an appointment for a consultation the next day. They were able to accommodate my schedule before I had to leave for school. I never waited more than 5 minutes in the waiting room. They always finished my appointments in the time they said they would. I actually have some pretty severe dental anxiety and trauma from my childhood dentist. But after just 2 visits, my dental anxiety vanished, so much so I almost fell asleep on the chair! Thank you for the care you have given me.

Dr Dang and his staff are courteous, professional, and fun. What I appreciate most is how they won’t gouge you and try to upsell anything. Dr Dang is a conservative dentist and wants to retain your natural teeth as much as possible. While other dentists I’ve been to in the past seem to “find” decay left and right, Dr Dang only does the necessary. Nothing gets past him though! He caught a few areas of decay on my daughter that 2 other dentists missed. She is on her way to a fully healthy (decay free) mouth. Thank you Dr Dang!!!

Throughout my life I’ve had terrible dental experiences and I was thinking that this place would be the same, but oh boy was I wrong. Dr. Dang and Amanda were both super kind and friendly. I didn’t feel judged and it was great to feel comfortable talking about my dental health. The images and information they provided me with helped me understand my teeth better and how to take care of my oral health. I assumed we would only need a routine cleaning. After x-rays and a thorough examination, we were informed one of our children needed a significant procedure. Sadly, I chipped a tooth last week. Veronica was awesome and squeezed me in to see Dr. Dang on a day that they were super busy. Dr. Dang made me feel like he had all the time in the world to see me. He took the time to explain my options and think through the pros and cons of different treatments. In the end, he was able to fill the tooth where it had chipped. Now it’s smooth and perfect. The whole procedure was fast and painless. The whole staff at Dr. Dang’s was super friendly and caring throughout my visit. I had injured my back earlier in the week and they were very patient with me as I hobbled around their office. Thanks Dr. Dang. I’ll be sending my whole family in to see you!!

(…) Dr. Dang came in to examine my x-rays and look in my mouth. He explained what he saw and made some suggestions regarding my wisdom teeth. The thing I appreciate about Dr. Dang is that he’s really conservative in his recommendations for treatment. He’s going to keep an eye on a couple of areas, but he told me he’s not interested in doing unnecessary treatment, and I have a lot of respect for him because of that.
Afterward, Dr. Dang encouraged me to come back every six months for my routine exam and cleaning. I know this sounds funny, but I love the feeling of squeaky clean teeth and can’t wait to come back to get my teeth cleaned again!

One of the things I appreciated the most was the fact that right off the bat, he established with me a non-startling signal (raise/wave my left hand) to indicate to him that I was uncomfortable. Do you know why? Because usually there’s some tool, usually whirring, in my mouth when I’m uncomfortable and I don’t want to startle the dentist and have him accidentally do something worse! Also, he always gave me a head’s up whenever he was going to work on a new area of my mouth, what sensations to expect, etc.
The cherry on top was that I was able to close my eyes during the cleaning and actually relax. I mean, I almost fell asleep! I was tired from work but that’s gotta be saying something

A WORD FROM YOUR DOCTOR
We are a dental practice devoted to restoring and enhancing the natural beauty of your smile using conservative procedures and state-of-the-art technology! Dr. Peter H. Dang was born and raised in Orange County, California. The last of four children to all attend the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA), he received a Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology and also completed Master’s coursework in the field of Oral Biology at UCLA’s School of Dentistry. Dr. Dang received his doctorate (DDS) from the New York University College of Dentistry (NYU), where he was one of only a handful of seniors who participated in two honors elective courses. He was also an active member of the Xi Psi Phi fraternity and President of the Christian Medical & Dental Association. After NYUCD, Dr. Dang completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency at Lutheran Medical Center in Spokane, WA. While caring for the underserved and medically complex patients there, he became proficient at a myriad of dental procedures including molar root canals and surgical extractions. Upon completing his residency program, Dr. Dang stayed in Spokane, WA for a number of years, practicing dentistry and also serving as a part-time Clinical Professor at Eastern Washington University’s Dental Hygiene Department. Dr. Dang is excited and thankful for the opportunity to return home to Orange County and provide dental care to the community that helped raise him. Dr. Dang has always made postgraduate coursework a top priority in order to enhance his services in the dental profession. He enjoys taking courses in cosmetic dentistry, implants, and he keeps up to date on the latest dental materials and techniques. His commitment to continuing education has allowed Dr. Dang to better serve his patients and to remain abreast of the latest technology. Away from the office, Dr. Dang enjoys cooking, watching sports (Go Bruins!), and spending time with his wife, Jessica.
