If you have black triangles or other spaces between your teeth that affects your confidence, Dr. Cole is your solution in Portland, Oregon. I did extensive research on treating gingival embrasures and the dreaded black triangles that people may get due to recession. My enamel is great, and my teeth are white and strong, but it was just those little black triangles between the teeth at my gumline that really bothered me. It did not make sense to cover up my teeth with veneers. My smile looked old. I thought my only option was to go to a dentist in Tacoma who specializes in this procedure. He also has a product that is heavily-promoted on the internet that is designed to help close those gaps. His marketing is great, but he is over-the-top expensive. I wanted to find a dentist in Portland that could do the same thing for a reasonable price. I found Dr. Cole. Dr. Rachel Cole’s staff is fantastic. She offers appointments as early as 7 AM at her convenient location in NW Portland. The best thing: I once again have no problem flashing a big, teethy, cheesy grin. My youthful smile has returned. Dr. Cole and her team provide excellent care and are incredibly kind. As a transgender patient, I very much appreciated that from the moment I informed her office about my gender and recent name change, they never once faultered with my name and pronouns. This is a huge deal to me, so it is their attention to detail on a personal and professional level that set them apart from other practitioners. 5-stars across the board. Also, I wanted to specifically rave about Virginia! August 2 was our first appointment together, and she was wonderful. She was very kind and considerate right off the bat. She offered me a blanket, as it was a bit chilly in the office. She is by far the most thorough hygienist I’ve ever seen. I am meticulous by nature, so her scrupulous attention to detail was much appreciated. She is also just an incredibly interesting person. We had great conversation, and she even recommended some easy, at-home whitening tips. I’m looking forward to my next cleaning!

Hubby broke a tooth while traveling and Dr Cole provides same day crowns.  Excellent work done very efficiently.  Price was reasonable and they got us in fast.  Very friendly and helpful staff.  We highly recommend this dentist.

Rachel is a fantastic dentist. Her office staff is kind, helpful, and prompt regarding appointments and scheduling. The chair staff (assistants and hygienists) work along with Dr. Cole to provide maximum comfort for their patients from cleanings to fillings. I can’t recommend her enough for a good dentist in the downtown Portland area!

Dr Cole and her staff is top notch. She took over when Dr Davis retired and has made the practice her own. As a self avowed dental coward, I must state I actually look forward to my visits with Dr Cole and her staff.   Just as a side note, they move to a new office in February 2019!

Dr. Cole is the best dentist ever. I have a lot of anxiety around dental procedures and after meeting Dr. Cole for our initial consult she completely put my worries to rest. I ended up needing some cavities filled and the whole process was so easy going, I feel like it’s the beginning of the end to my dental anxiety. The hygienist, Sara, is hilarious and Barbara at the front desk is such a delight. Love this crew!

I live in PA and am visiting PDX. My top front crown came off. My daughter recommended Dr. Cole. I called and she fit me in on short notice. Her office is beautiful and welcoming. Her staff competent and professional. She did a great job on my crown and I couldn’t be happier. Thanks, Dr. Cole and staff! Happily, she’s going to be my PDX dentist.

Dr. Cole got me in last minute, helped me replace a crown and found that I didn’t have any cavities that other dentists wanted to charge me for! Not only that but she was super friendly and even recommended a great book to read!

By far the best experience I have ever had going to the dentist. Everyone was ridiculously nice and went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. Dr Cole was very hands on and had clearly reviewed my chart ahead of time. This clinic should be the model that all other clinics strive to emulate.
