Dr. Favis and his team are excellent!  I drive all the way from Old Town Alexandria to go to his office.  My wife and I both go and enjoy his gentle, but effective service.  I refer Dr. Favis to my clients and they rave about him. My only compliant:  Dr. Favis sometimes makes me laugh and my mouth is full of stuff and I can’t respond!  Good people working hard here and you can tell Dr. Favis and Dr. Ellis take care of them because they seem like they enjoy their jobs.

Dr. Favis is a wonderful dentist practice! I’ve been going for over 22 years and have recommended everyone I know to come here! His office is always friendly and clean and he’s maintained some very loyal staff over the years. Susan has been my hygienist for many years and she always does a great job with my super sensitive teeth. I’m embarrassed that I haven’t rated Ray, (err, Dr. Favis) yet! I’ve been faithfully stalking (I mean following) since 1998. I’ve watched him move offices 3 times, get married, have kids! It’s been a fun adventure! Doesn’t everyone love their dentist this much?

Dr Favis and all of the staff are always very friendly and helpful. I had some bad experiences with other dentists in the past. When I first went to Favis Dental over 10 yrs ago I knew I found the right dentist for me. And now my children love them too

Dr. Favis has assembled a supremely courteous and very efficient team. From the time you enter the office, which is handled in a very safe and customer-friendly fashion, to the maintenance check-up or other care you receive, to your departure, the service is outstanding. Dr. Favis and his team treated me very well today (Mon, Apr 5) – from notifying me when to come in, to the x-rays, to the cleaning, and consult, and settling the bill.

Dr. Favis has been my dentist for a bout 20 years. He and his staff are always friendly and caring to the patients. Also my husband, daughter, her 2 children and 2 other grandchildren go to this dentist. Dr. Favis is always concerned about his patients well fare and is willing to go over and above to made them feel relaxed and comfortable no matter what work is being done. He is always willing to help with your insurance company and work things out for your benefit . I believe he is always looking out for the best for all his patients . I would recommend him to others.

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Favis – he is the absolute best! I’ve been going to him since middle school – and I’m almost 25 now. I had a number of horrible experiences with local dentists before someone referred me to Favis – he has the most calming personality and was able to figure out pretty quickly with an x-ray that I had likely never been numb before despite undergoing a number of fillings. I’ve spent quite a bit of time in his office over the years (more than I would like to!) and have never had a bad experience. Everyone is so friendly!

I’m hesitant to heap another 5-star’er on Favis since it’ll only lead to you people stealing my dentist, but he deserves it. I’ve been to a lot of toof doctors. My teeth as a youth were…how do I put this…BAD. I’ve had gum grafting, a frenectomy (yeah, what the heck is that, right?), a tooth removed from the middle of my head-face, a palatal expander (i.e. slow torture), 5.5 years of braces, et. al. During a routine cleaning, Favis didn’t look in my mouth and recoil. He told me I was special. And that my former torturers had done a “Great Job.” For once, someone didn’t make me feel like Frankenstein’s monster. I crawled back to Favis about a year later freaking out because my wisdom toof was coming in and I didn’t want any more teeth pulled. I was certain he would tell me I had to get it pulled, or better yet, that it wasn’t a tooth to begin with but a calcified tumor or some such horror, knowing my luck… What he DID was take an X-ray and tell me it seemed I had enough room in my mouf and that I didn’t have to get the thing pulled! I went to several local dentists for consultations before choosing, Dr. Favis. Dr. Favis by far gave me the best options. He was very reasonable and accommodating. I had complex and difficult issues and he came up with an effective solution. My alternative quotes were not only much more costly, but also not needed (despite 1 doc saying it was). I finally have my self-confidence and smile back, all thanks to Dr. Favis. Dr. Favis and his wonderful staff took wonderful care of me. They should be a role model for what customer centric dental practice should be like.

I’ve been going to Dr. Ray for several years — on a referral from a friend — and as an escape from the bureaucratic “horrors” of dealing with the Hoffman practice down by Woodson High.  The difference in treatment is dramatic.  Dr. Ray is the only dentist in the office and he has very high quality, courteous and caring staff.  He is very personable and you cannot help yourself but liking him very much!  He always has the latest technology and is available for emergencies.  My whole family (wife and two adult daughters) go to him and we are all very pleased and would not even think of going to another dentist.
