First off, I am a complete coward when it comes to dental visits. I cried when I was told I needed all my wisdom teeth out, right away. Im not a young person and have never had any teeth removed so the thought of having them out scared the heck out of me. Dr. Musmar was so comforting. He stopped and asked where the fear was coming from and talked me through my fear. I settled for having the infected tooth out right then. And the staff was fantastic too. The presiding nurse was patient and kind and took very good care to sooth my anxiety. I opted for just a numbing agent and really was shocked at how painless it was. There was some discomfort, but not what I imagined. I will certainly go back and have the other three removed. Also, someone had given a bad review about the cost and I say that Dr. Musmar is very fair in his pricing. He even hosted a “Fee Dental Care Day”. Watch the video on, wjla.com/articles/2012/1…. I truly think he is concerned with the well being of people in need of dental care and is not just in the Dr. biz for the money. His office has state of the art equipment, which must cost a lot to use and maintain so the cost is understandable. Actually, when my husband had a root canal two weeks ago, it was the Reflections staff that suggested that he join the Aenta dental plan, which saved us considerably. I immediately joined after his procedure and was glad I did considering I had to have this procedure not long after. I was so pleased by this visit, I will definitely use Dr. Musmar again for all my dental needs. I am so grateful to have found such a caring Dentist. I will definitely go back.

Dr.MusMar is the best, I had a bad experience with other dentist so I was terrified until I found this place . He’s very patient and goes above and beyond to make sure your okay during the process. He walks you through everything so you know what’s going on as your getting work done. I have anxiety and i can get worked up at times , he gives me words of encouragement which I need at times . He knows me and gets me which is a plus ! I highly recommend this place you won’t regret it !!

I have to say, I am sad to see Reflection Dental only has 3.5 out of 5 stars at the time of me writing a review. I have been going to this practice since I was 5 years old, so for almost 35 years now. I could not be happier with Dr. Musmar. As long as he is there, I will never go anywhere else. I have an immense fear of the dentist because prior to Dr Musmar, this practice was owned by someone else. The previous dentist was absolutely horrible. In effort to keep this review focused on the current aspects, I’ll leave my past experience out. Dr. Musmar is one of the nicest, most genuine people I’ve ever met in my life. His compassionate personality is evident in the care he provides his patients. I’m so afraid of cavities, I have tears every time I’ve been told I have a cavity that needs to be filled. My old dentist told me not to be such a baby! Dr Musmar made me feel like everyone cries and it was no big deal. I just can’t express enough how much I value having him as my dentist. I’d recommend Reflection Dental to anyone looking for a new dentist.

I’ve been coming here for years. I like the technician and Dr. Musmar. They always try to give you the right advice. I never felt that they would try to steer you in a way to make you pay more money and do something you might not need. I think this is the most important factor I consider when assessing the service I’m getting, honesty. I never had an issue with billing or invoicing. The new location is clean and equipped with new machines and technology.

Dr. Musmar and his staff are very professional and careful in coping with covid situation which makes me feel at ease coming into the office. I’m very careful in going places unless it’s a must like I cracked my teeth and Dr. Musmar was able to fix them for me right away. I trust Dr. Musmar. I highly recommend his service. The only problem I have is the office service price is a bit pricy compare to other places. If it’s not because of Dr. Musmar, his expertise and his gentleness in dealing with my treatment I would consider going somewhere else. I was lucky to have two best insurance coverages and yet I still have to pay out of pocket. In the past with my previous dentist in DC, I had to use only my primary insurance to cover the charges.

I can’t say enough good things about this Reflection Dental location. They make your teeth and health a priority without being pushy (like Reflection Dental Lorton does). Dr. Musmar and his staff are all amazing. I actually completed my Invisalign treatment through Dr. Musmar and he also corrected treatment from Dr. Abdeen from the Lorton location (nothing major and simply resin). Dr. Musmar is a genius with resin – he managed to fill in a small area where it looked like I had a gap after Invisalign (due to the shape of my teeth – I did not have an actual gap) and made the gap disappear and gave me a normal looking smile. It’s well worth the 30 minute drive to Alexandria from my house in Maryland because it’s extremely difficult to not only find a good dentist but also one you trust (with your health and wallet). I highly recommend Dr. Musmar and his staff!

I’ve been to a lot of dentists over the years, including family friends as a child and a teenager. The dentists at Reflection Dental remind me of the dentists who looked out for my family through the years. I am so glad to have found Dr. Le, and Dr. Musmar is fantastic, too. Highly knowledgeable, very personable, and patient-focused. I’ve had cleanings, fillings, and am in the Invisalign process now. The staff is great, too. The worst part of the experience at Reflection Dental is the Christmas music all December, but I just don’t like Feliz Navidad or Elvis all that much.

I am very happy with Reflection Dental. My father broke a tooth and is in pain. He is also on a limited income and Medicare does not cover dental. After hours on the phone calling various places, Reflection was able to get him in on the same day and only charged $1 for the emergency consutation (which included an xray and prescription – his tooth is abcessed, so we’ll have to get it pulled, once the infection is gone). They were all very nice from the reception to the dentist and everyone else in between. I would highly recommend them!

I have been going to this office for over 6 years. The staff is warm, friendly, patient and extremely clean. As a new patient, I had a serious gum condition that has since subsided. There was a lot of leg work to be performed. The staff was there with me on my journey and miraculously, my mouth and gum health have completely transformed. While dental work isn’t cheap, you cannot put a price tag on your health and definitely quality sevice. Highly recommend Dr. Musmar to anyone.

I’m 52yo and have searched long and hard for a dentist like Qais, (pronounced…after many attempts…lol…”Kice”). He’s like a brother to me. He’s affable, professional, competent and does NOT lecture!. He offers, for dental-phobic peeps like me, conscious sedation. I actually look forward to coming to his practice….this is unheard of…even after 2 root canals! Please give him a chance! I have been a patient of Dr. Musmar for over 10 years now and I do not think there is a better dentist that is in the Washington DC area. He is a very experienced and skillful dentist that has been able to take care of all my dental problems, — and I have had many – including root canals, Implants, extrations, and crowns. I recently had to have two extractions and they were done painlessly by Dr. Musmar. His practice has the latest, most modern equipment, and he does everything possible to make the patient comfortable. I was very impressed by the patience that he took to answer any and all questions that I might have, and his discussion and recommendations concerning an implant for one of my teeth, If you are looking for a great dentist that is one of the very, very best, look no farther than Dr. Musmar.

I am so happy with the dental care services provided by Dr. Qais Musmar and his staff. Dr. Musmar is not only extremely skilled & knowledgeable about dentistry, but he also very personable. I am extremely afraid of needles and I have a low tolerance for pain. Dr Musmar has earned my trust over the years last 8 yrs., whereas I have no apprehension and feel totally comfortable in the chair. I have had a number of procedures, such as, extractions, implants, crowns, root canels, removal of silver filling and filling replacements. Yes, I have had many procedures over the years and my teeth look fantastic and healthy. I was a patient of Reflection Dental several years back while in graduate school in the area, and had some work done, including some fillings and an unfortunate root canal. I started having some discomfort (tooth sensitivity) recently which I wanted addressed relatively quickly. I did not originally go see Reflection Dental. Big mistake! Because I work and was looking for a dentist that I could stay with after addressing this immediate problem, I opted for a dentist with weekend hours. Long story short, this new dentist identified what he thought was an abscess that would need antibiotics and ultimately another root canal. Because I left there having less than a good impression, and I remembered having a good experience (or as good an experience as one can have having a root canal) at Reflection, I opted to take time off of work to make an appointment with Reflection for a second opinion. Boy am I glad I did! Because the dentist I saw previously has left the practice, I got an appointment with Dr. Musmar. He reviewed the x-rays that had been taken and informed me, that not only did I never need the antibiotics I had been taking, I also did not need a root canal (what a relief!). He explained that I needed a night-guard to protect my teeth from the clenching I had been doing. They showed me the cost and what would be covered. Dr. Musmar also took the time, given the complete 180 in opinions I had received, to answer my numerous questions and assure me of his findings. He even took additional x-rays to make sure there was no additional damage to my teeth outside what the other dentist had looked at. I walked in fearing the worst and walked out with a smile. The visit was recent, and I have not had to deal with billing issues or confusions at this point, so I can’t speak to that. But if you are looking for a knowledgeable, caring, patient dentist, look no further!

My teeth were totally neglected which made me feel extremely hopeless and embarrassed by my smile. I got the deal from a Groupon just to try out a new dentist. Usually, I never have high hopes for what I get from this website, however, I was very pleasantly surprised! It was super easy to schedule and I was accommodated every time with the reservation (had to change it a couple of times). Everyone is so friendly and very pleasant on the phone, as well. When I got to the office, the person upfront was very professional and caring, he helped me with all paperwork and even rushed my appointment. I was very pleasantly surprised and happy that I found Reflection Dental. I wish I remembered the name of the technician that worked with me on ex-rays and cleaning, she was superb!!! I honestly have not had a better cleaning done just yet. So kind and knowledgeable, very gentle. I have sensitive teeth and did not feel any pain, as I usually do with the cleaning.
