There are not enough stars to give Dr. Nishikawa and his awesome team. He is our forever dentist! We know we can rely upon his attention to detail, honest opinions, thorough explanations, and delightful personality. It’s always been easy to understand why Dr. Nishikawa is highly respected as a teacher and mentor to other dentists. He is incredibly good at his craft and continually keeps his practice up-to-date with the proven science in the dental industry. He has a very caring and friendly office environment where every one of his multi-talented team/staff members is highly skilled at their jobs. Their office is a place where I feel comfortable going during the Covid-19 pandemic because they have always had meticulous procedures in place to keep everyone safe from any infectious transmissions long before this virus erupted. I have highly recommended Dr. Nishikawa’s dentistry practice to friends and family and I continue to do so

Dr. Nishikawa has been my dentist since he graduated from USC Dental School. I will see no other dentist, regardless of the distance I have to travel. He is a perfectionist and takes pride in his work. To say he absolutely knows what he is doing would be an understatement. I actually look forward to my dental appointments because of his expertise, gentle manner, and sense of humor. He has the best hygienists and support staff who make a dental visit almost as good as a shopping trip.! Those who benefited from his teaching at USC Dental School are probably quite grateful for the experience. If you’re unhappy with your dentist then make the change now. You won’t regret it.

Dr Nishikawa is by far the best dentist. He truly cares about his patients. He is an expert in preserving your teeth and providing you with the best smile. Make an appointment with Dr Nishikawa today. You deserve to be beautiful! Update: I chipped my front tooth right before the Christmas holiday. Dr Nishikawa made room on his busy schedule and repaired the fix tooth on the 23rd of December. He cares for his patients. He made sure that the repairs he performed were perfect and that I was satisfied with his work before I left his office. He’s a cosmetic dental genius! My tooth looks even better than before. I’m grateful that I have a dentist that I can trust and depend on.

Honestly, I was a bit hesitant leaving my house for the first time to go have my mouth examined and worked on during this pandemic, but my trust in Dr. Nishikawa and his team eased my fears. They literally have considered everything from separating clean and used pens to contactless payment. I felt very safe and well taken care of with their COVID-19 protection measures. And as always, they provide excellent dental services, with such care and precision. The staff is the absolute best. I’m so grateful.

The best! I’ve been going to Dr. Nishikawa for about 10 years. He’s great. He also has the best front office staff and hygienists. They’re so friendly and helpful. Service is great. They have a TV screen I can watch while I’m getting work done and the most beautiful view of an outside garden from my patient chair. I don’t even live or work near their office anymore but I will not switch because they’re so awesome

I love doctor Nishikawa. I had an issue with my old dentist where she pulled my wisdom teeth and broke the bone in my mouth. After two months of pain a friend of mine told me to see Dr. Nishikawa. He immediately sent me to an oral surgeon. He said a good dentist does not try to do the work of an oral surgeon. I have been going to him ever since. He and his staff are the best.
A WORD FROM YOUR DOCTOR
The Dr. Beverly B. McCollum Award is the highest honor conveyed by the International Academy of Gnathology. The award recognizes those who have contributed significantly to the clinical application and educational advancement of Gnathology. On September 19, 2015, the International Academy of Gnathology honored Dr. Robert S. Nishikawa by presenting him with the Dr. Beverly B. McCollum Award. Dr. Robert S. Nishikawa graduated from the University of Southern California of Dentistry, and upon graduation dedicated himself to teaching. He served as a Clinical Instructor from 1973 to 1983 in the Department of Occlusion. In 1983 he was appointed to the position of Clinical Associate Professor and to Course Director of Occlusion, a position he held until 1993. He then founded and was the Associate Director of the Dr. Al Solnit Advanced Restorative Study Group. In 2005 he became the mentor of the Pacific Northwest Gnathological Study Club. Dr. Nishikawa's commitment to the dental profession does not end with his passion for teaching. He has served on the USC School of Dentistry Admissions Committee, The Los Angeles Dental Society Peer Review Committee, an advisor to numerous dental technology study groups, and as Director of the International Academy of Gnathology.
