Dr. Wagner and his staff have been nothing short of phenomenal all throughout my Invisalign treatment. From my consultation and teeth impressions to check ups and adjustments Dr. Wagner and his team are professional, helpful, and knowledgeable. I could not recommend seeing Dr. Wagner for whatever it is you need help with. The office is clean and very pleasant with coffee, tea, cookies, and some nice chapstick. The waiting room is comfy and the overall feel is also very comfortable. No weird smells or too “sterile.” Again, I cant recommend Dr. Wagner at Wagner Dental Care enough.

My husband and I have had the opportunity to experience care with Dr. Wagner and have been impressed with the professionalism, knowledge, flexibility, and attention to a non-stressful dental experience. My husband had to have a filling and root canal and was initially anxious about his visits, but was surprised at how well they went and how the staff put him at ease at all stages of the procedures. We also appreciated how hard Dr. Wagner’s staff worked to refer him out for a root canal to a quality endodontist while his office was closed during the holidays, helped them work with our insurance, and found a time that worked in his busy schedule. Dr. Wagner in particular has an easy-going personality, and it’s no wonder why his patients have been with him for years!

Dr Wagner is an outstanding dentist! He has really gone above and beyond for me on more than one occasion. When I had a painful issue with a filling he insisted on squeezing me in and taking care of it before I left the country. He came up with a solution that completely eliminated the pain and saved our vacation! When I started seeing Dr Wagner I had spaces between several back teeth that were left from other dentists that didn’t take care to properly size crowns and fillings. It made eating most things very uncomfortable and I was constantly flossing. It was such a treat when he fixed them for me! I had forgotten what it was like to eat a meal without running for the flossers. Dr Wagner and everyone I’ve met in the office are all very friendly and caring and I love that I can zone out and catch up on TV during procedures. Before you know it, it’s over and you are wishing you could stay for the rest of the show.

Five years ago I landed in the hospital for three days following a botched wisdom tooth extraction. I hadn’t been particularly nervous about dentists prior to that, but after? well, let’s just say that four multi-state moves since then have provided me with MORE than reasonable excuses not to get to a dentist. I know, gross, but there it is. And you know how it is… the longer you go, the worse it gets. “crap, it’s been so long. what will they find? I bet I’ve got like broken stuff and recessed gums and will need oral surgery and it’ll probably cause some kind of weird blood disease and I’ll die like within a year… crap. Hey, isn’t it happy hour?” Two recommendations from coworkers (coupled with the great location) finally pushed me to call Dr. Wagner and his fabulous team. Stammering apologies from the first, I held my breath and waited for the bad news: “You need to floss more.” “uh, I’m sorry, what? don’t we need to schedule some kind of appointment to do something radical and painful? y’know, kind of like my penance for putting this off for so long?” (pause) “well um… you really should floss more. It’s important you know.” Dr. Wagner and his staff are terrific. They offer free cookies as you leave which frankly is pretty strange, (or is it maniacally genius?) but a great experience all around.

These guys are so amazing! I was dreading my first implant so much. They really helped to put me at ease, and to make the procedure fast and almost completely painless. I couldn’t believe it when he said the tooth was out. I was fortunate, because mine went so well that they were able to place the implant at the same appointment, saving time and more anxiety. Both doctors checked on me several times and I felt very well taken care of.

My first visit to Wagner Dental Care went very well. I am a long time victim of poor dental care from the time I was very young ( now very old) but stuck with paralyzing fear of the dentist and the dental office experience. My appointment today was a cleaning and my first meet with the dentist. Both went very well, and I was treated with patience, care, and gentleness. I recommend the office very much and have booked my next cleaning for 6 months out. Everyone was pleasant and seemed to be highly qualified. Thumbs up. 🙂

So, for all of my life, I’ve always had excellent dental health. My pride got the better of me, and I skipped going for a few years. Come to find out, I have a few cavities and needed a deep cleaning done. Ouch! I settled on Dr. Wagner and his team for my dental needs after a visiting 2 other dentists first. I just had my first part of my cleaning done recently, and while I have no fear of needles, pain, scraping, etc, I have never had anything this extensive done. I felt absolutely no pain at all and I’m very happy to have become a patient of this practice. They are brimming with professionalism, and they have an exceptional staff!

Dr. and assistant Rachel have such an attention to detail and care for understanding my needs at every visit. They are also very understanding and comforting when I am nervous about a procedure. My wife and I have been patients of Dr. Wagner and his team for around 10 years. They do a fabulous job on everything from “cleaning to crowns.” We are older and we have both had to have extensive work done especially dental crowns that were put in decades ago and eventually needed replacement. The professional quality of the work is outstanding. The pricing is fair, and the customer service/ interpersonal experience is great- they are truly nice people. Fantastic, friendly, expert family dental care. I was referred to Dr Wagner by a friend after relocating to Portland, and I am glad I was. From setting the appointment to check in, through the cleaning and even the fresh baked cookies upon checkout that they were offering that day, (honestly …and that part was particularly awesome) everything was top-notch. Sally did a great job with with cleaning, very thorough, and avoided a lot of the aggressive scraping with the manual tool that I was accustomed to with other dentists. She uses an ultrasonic and water tool that gets the teeth even cleaner than the old way alone. My favorite part of the cleaning was being able to catch up on the news while I was getting my teeth cleaned! You have a flat screen mounted right next to the overhead light that I became so accustomed to stating at during dental visits When Dr Wagner came in, he used some pretty slick imaging technology to identify some areas in my molars that didn’t hurt yet, but I could see easily that if I didn’t start flossing soon, I would be in for a world of hurt. He’s a fantastic young guy who is up on all of the latest and greatest in diagnostic and advanced dental care. Icing on the cake was that they took my insurance, which is so appreciated. I am glad I found them!

They got me in earlier than my scheduled appt for a cavity (I had a work conference call that butted up a half hour after my dentist appt) and were really professional, and efficient. They got me in and out within a half hour (despite the quoted 45 minutes they prepared me for which I had forgotten about) which gave me 10 minutes between dentist and meeting. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Wagner’s for 15+ years. He’s gotta be on the short-list of best dentists in town. The entire staff is so kind and welcoming. Dr. Wagner is a fantastic dentist. Several of his hygienists have been with him for more than a decade, which is a great indication that he takes care of his employees! Anecdotally, as a teenager I chipped my front tooth, and nearly 15 years later the repaired tooth still looks perfect.
