My son started orthodontia a few months ago under the competent care of Dr. Shoaf. She came highly recommended by a dentist. I’ve been very happy with the care so far. One of his wires became loose last week and the office got him in immediately to tighten — I mean within 10 minutes from my call to the office to him sitting in the chair and getting it fixed. The offices are really lovely. I also like that Dr. Shoaf was a professor at Wake Forest and probably taught many of the other younger orthodontists in town. She has a really wonderful way with teenagers. Also liked the payment plan. The staff really worked with me to make braces affordable for us. Highly recommended.

From start to finish this place is amazing! The front desk are welcoming when you check in and Karen will even spend extra time with you to make sure you don’t have any questions on your way out. Rubin is so kind, gentle and overall amazing. He made sure my daughter was comfortable and was very empathetic to any discomfort she showed. Dr. Shoaf is a remarkable woman. It doesn’t matter what you came in for you will at the least see her and get a hello. She makes time for her patients. This place is the besr! Thanks so much to the whole staff if salem smiles!

Amazing!!!! There is never a wait. They listen when I have a concern. My oldest has been in her braces almost 3 years. My youngest girl gets her braces in January… I would highly recommend using them.. Awesome staff!!

The location was not difficult to find even with the construction work on Bus. 40. The front desk staff are very welcoming. The lobby is very clean and adequately spaced. Sarah Shoaf is absolutely amazing. She is very knowledgeable. She interacted with my son, the patient, which made him more comfortable. The visit was not long at all. I will definitely recommend her.

I cannot say enough about Dr Shoaf’s kindness and professionalism. She took care of my son, who is a college student far away from home who was not even her patient. She treated him with respect and allowed him to get in immediately to do a repair. If she treats strangers like this, I can only imagine how great she treats her patients. I would not think twice about using her as my orthodontist. My son was humbled and so pleased to have found her. Thank you Dr. Shoaf!
