Dr. Curfew is an amazing replacement for Dr. Harrell. I was nervous about how such an amazing dentist could be replaced but the transition was flawless. I love Dr. Curfew and his work. I can’t say enough good about this entire staff. As I’m writing this I remember always being nervous about the ethical behaviors of dentists, claiming work needs to be done when it really does not. Absolutely the best! Love this team so much! They make going to the dentist so painless and enjoyable. I have had multiple cavities worked on and there literally is zero discomfort or pain. The office is beautiful, they have TVs above each seat that play relaxing outdoor shows (or your request). They also have handled my kids dental needs and my kids literally request and look forward to the dentist. This place is a gem to all of San Clemente!

I went to another dentist in town and was told I needed some heavy dental work. I decided to get a second opinion from Dr. Curfew and I’m so glad I did. The price of my dental work was better, and his office was so accommodating to someone like me who hates going to the dentist. I’ve been through my fair share of dentists over the years, and I’m happy to say I’ve finally found one that is competent, manages pain well, and is sensitive to the needs of the patient. I couldn’t recommend him and his staff more highly.

My son loved the treatment and customer service he got from this dental clinic. Everyone was friendly he said and very accommodating. Dr. Curfew took over for the greatly loved Dr. Harrell and I’m sure everyone wondered how could anyone come close to giving the same type of care. I get asked all the time by people in the community if the “new” doctor is comparable. I randomly had the conversation today as I told my customer that I’d meet with him when I was done at the dentist. When my customers father-in-law (a dentist) retired, the family started going to Dr. Harrell. Anyhow Dr. Curfew is so good I’ve forgotten about Dr. Harrell (Sorry Harrell). I can’t say enough about Curfew and his entire staff. When I show up for an appointment it feels like I’m visiting family (you know the good family members that you actually like).

Dr. Curfew and his team go above and beyond to make their patients comfortable and happy! We were patients of Dr. Harrell’s for years. Fortunately my entire family, including my kids have had great experiences with Dr. Curfew since he took over the practice. Recently I had some worrisome and painful teeth problems. Dr. Curfew and his team got me in right away and did everything they could to fix my issues quickly and efficiently. I have never written a Yelp review, but I am so thrilled with my experience with Dr Brandon Curfew and all of his staff that I must. I’ve been a patient for only a few months, but he has solved so many problems that I thought were chronic. The lastest was today, Saturday, when a bridge just fell out of my mouth. He and his assistent both came in on Saturday and permanetly cemented it back in place. I walked out of the office completely fixed within about 2 hours from my initial call.

This office is really amazing. I had trouble making an appointment to see my regular dentist during COVID and went looking for another dentist. I made an appointment to see Dr Curfew on a friends stellar recommendation and everything she said was true. The front office staff are lovely and incredibly welcoming, my hygienist Jackie was very easy to chat with and did a very thorough job of cleaning and examining my teeth. I was a patient here when Dr. Harrell was at the helm and honestly hadn’t been to the dentist for a few years. I’m a bit of a “dentophobe”. Well, I popped a filling out 3 days before leaving on a trip and really hoped that somehow Dr. Curfew and his team could “squeeze” me in for an emergency repair before my trip. Left a late night voice mail in hopes I would hear back when they opened the next morning. Much to my delight, I got a call from the office at 8:45 the next morning offering me a slot for “2:30”, which of course is the perfect time to visit the dentist (lame joke- “tooth hurty”). I arrived and was taken care of by the staff and met Dr. Curfew all of whom eased my “dentophobe” fears and treated the issue quickly and were very informative. I strongly recommend these folks if you want to find a kind, gentle, knowledgable dental practice right here in San Clemente! Thanks everyone! You saved the day!

Dr. Curfew and staff are amazing. They are really nice and welcoming into their office. Lacey the dental hygienist cleaned my teeth on my first visit and she was awesome. I didn’t feel a thing she was very gentle and always asking if I was ok. I went today and Dr Curfew fixed my 4 front teeth he did a great job and again making me feel very comfortable and relaxed. Can’t wait for my Invisalign to come in make my smile even better. Dr Curfew will always be my go to dentist as long as I live in San Clemente. I have had lots of dental work growing up and am not a fan of going to the dentist. I have had many bad experiences at other dentist office. i decided to try San Clemente smiles. The staff was all very nice and the office is extremely clean. I had to get a root canal and Dr Curfew was very nice and explained everything to me and made me feel at ease. they also have your own big screen TV to watch NetFlix on while they are working on you which is a nice bonus. Just took my twin 5 year olds in for their first cleaning and x rays. Lynn was so sweet and patient with them and made their first experience in the chair so easy. She had clever sayings and “tricks” to get the kids to do what she needed them to do. Dr Curfew was professional and kind. Dr. Brandon Curfew was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. He attended Brigham Young University and during that time, served for two years as a missionary in Peru. He then attended the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. After graduating from dental school, he participated in a competitive general practice residency at the VA Hospital in Denver, Colorado. Dr. Curfew is proficient in doing complex dental procedures that include surgery, implants, and full mouth reconstruction. Dr. Curfew and his wife, Brittany, have two boys. They are active in their church and love raising their boys by the beach in beautiful San Clemente. Having a son with autism, Dr. Curfew and his wife are active in the special needs community and enjoy participating in events that support advancements in autism research and education. In his spare time, Dr. Curfew enjoys spending time with his family, riding motorcycles, mountain biking, running, and spending time at the beach.
