Today was my first and only trip to this office and will not be my last (9/16/15). I originally came in for an Invisalign consultation and left with an appointment for a needed teeth cleaning. The front desk is super courteous and welcoming. My dental hygenyist Shelley was thoughtful and knowledgable and made me feel comfortable during impressions and X-rays. Dr. Rooney rocks! I appreciate a care provider who will give you every single piece of information, and tell you the real deal from every angle. Thank you Groupon for introducing me to this place. I’m definitely a customer now!

One of the best experiences that I have had at a Dentist office. The staff is very personable and they make you feel very comfortable. I was very impressed with their process and they took the time to explain what they were doing along the way. The most customer centered dentist practice that I have ever been to. Strongly recommend for those looking to join a practice who genuinely care about their patients.

I have had an incredible experience at Seaport Dental. I am a dental student who just finished up an externship rotation at this office and it’s one of the best offices I’ve ever had the pleasure of working at. Dr. Rooney and her associate Dr. Greenberg are phenomenal dentists. They are both extremely skilled and have a wonderful ‘chair-side’ manner. Their assistants are also incredibly friendly and will put any nervous patients at ease. The hygienists are all friendly and very gentle but still thorough during cleanings. All staff take time to answer questions and really put their patients’ concerns first. The new office manager, Kaamala, is also wonderful. She is very knowledgeable, professional, and efficient. A fantastic addition to the Seaport team. As someone within the field of dentistry who has a great deal of knowledge and experience with many dental offices in the area, I would HIGHLY recommend this office for your dental care.

I work in the dental industry, so I know a good practice when I see it. This practice is excellent. The atmosphere is welcoming. The front staff is friendly. The hygienists and Doctors are knowledgeable and caring. I’ve seen literally hundreds of practices in Massachusetts and I come here to get my teeth cleaned. I highly recommend this office for a relaxing, pleasant trip to the dentist.

Great Experience in the beautiful new office! I had some tooth pain and called the office. They were very kind, informative (parking situation can be a little funny), and empathetic. I got an appointment immediately. I could not have if not for the extra hard work from the staff (thanks Jenna, and Michelle) squeezing me in. I have switched dentists offices permanently now and I have first cleaning on Thursday and I can’t wait. Added bonus, the office is breathtaking compared to other dentists offices. Plants and open spaces and large windows and new accented colors give a soft welcoming feel.

I recently moved to Boston and was in need of finding a good local dentist. I went to Seaport Dental because of what prior customers had said about it in their reviews. My experience was better than I could have expected. My teeth are prone to being problematic and my dentist before (which I had been seeing for 10+ years) started becoming “lazy” and my teeth were not fully taken care of when there was work to be done. Dr. Elizabeth Rooney was amazing. First of all, my insurance was making me pay $110 for the visit since I already had had a consultation with another dentist but the hours were an inconvenience. She waived that fee before even meeting me! I was impressed. When she did come to look things over she knew exactly what she was talking about and I felt VERY comfortable. She assured me I was in good hands and she is a perfectionist (like me) so I have no worries. The office and its equipment is all up-to-date and I would refer this dentist to anyone. I am looking forward to the next multiple visits and have no doubts she will take care of my teeth and fix the problems that were created by my previous dentist. Anyone looking for a dentist should consider going here. Easy free parking and a great dentist!

My husband and I initially purchased a Groupon for an Invisilign treatment. We were so impressed with the office we decided to become patients. It is very conveniently located and has free parking (after validated). It is very “high tech” – after taking x-rays and photos of my teeth, I actually had them on the screen for me so they could show me precisely what they were talking about. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. I would highly recommend this practice.

I have a lot of anxiety around the dentist and it always goes away the second I walk into their office. The front desk is incredibly friendly and helpful and the dentistry team never makes you feel bad if you fall behind on visits or an issue develops. They give honest advice and are the complete opposite of money grabbers. Even though I don’t work in the city anymore, I will never quit Seaport Dental!

Seaport Dental is the best dentist office around! I have been coming here since moving to Boston and each experience gets better and better! They are super clean, up-to-date, friendly, and always running on time. The individuals who I have also referred here having nothing but good things to say as well. They make coming to the dentist an easy and enjoyable process! Highly recommend!

LOVE LOVE LOVE DR ROONEY! If I could give more than 5 stars I would!. Two years ago I randomly saw an ad in a magazine for their invisalign program and was curious about it. Not only did I sign up for invisalign on the spot but I immediately made Seaport Dental my primary dentist. They have the best staff of any healthcare office I have ever been to. Everyone is so professional, timely, flexible, friendly, personable…and the list goes on! Free parking in Boston is also a plus. They are worth the drive from anywhere in the metro Boston area!

This is my second time going to Seaport Dental. It is incredibly clean and everyone there is super helpful! I went in for a quick chip tooth and we were able to resolve the problem within minutes. I am super thankful for the professionalism and the cleanliness and timeliness of the appointment making and staff once you arrive. I did not wait more than 2 minutes before being taken back! I felt completely comfortable in the office with their COVID precautions. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing a new dentist!

I started seeing Dr. Rooney May 2011. The office is immaculate! It’s up to date, technologically saavy and very clean! Appointment reminders and changes are made through email which is helpful. There is private parking at your convenience. All of the staff are extremely friendly! They have recently just moved their office to the downstairs level of the Seaport hotel and expanded their office. They even have Netflix available on the screens above the dental chairs! I have only seen Dr. Rooney and her staff for my Invisalign treatment but they are truly amazing. I am on my first refinement and I love how my teeth are coming along. Dr. Rooney and the staff schedule to see me every 6 weeks to see how my teeth are coming along and it gives me a chance to express any concerns or ask any questions. They are truly committed to perfecting my teeth to my satisfaction and I would recommend them to anyone looking into Invisalign. Also, they are very good with appointment changes. Sometimes I have to reschedule last minute and they are always able to accommodate me another time the same day.

Amazing experience! Heather my dental hygienist was incredibly friendly and communicative throughout the entire cleaning. Also had my teeth checked by the owner and she is friendly, practical and put my fears at ease. I will be referring all of my friends here, thank you for the great experience!

I have been going to Seaport dental since it’s inception. Nothing short of Great Care and service. I read a lot of the reviews and decipher these other reviews as people who don’t understand their Dental coverage. Which is not much no matter what coverage you have. Being in the trades I was always confused at what people would spend to fix their car but argue with other service providers over Health or Dental. I consider the work Dr. Rooney has done for me better than any Jewelry you could buy! She is Awesome, as well as her staff! Very Personable. P42

I have never entered a more inviting dentist office in my life: bright, open spaces, free beverages, excellent 90s music, did I mention free beverages? The service was just as stellar. My hygienist made my experience as comfortable as possible and did so with a genuine warmth. She guided me through the entire cleaning/checkup process–a painless one, mind you. My doc also had a knack for interacting with people. Friendly, professional, and down-to-earth: the people in this office are a five-star bunch! This is a dentist office that other dentist offices should be modeled after. Great job, team!

I’ve been going here for a little over a year and I cannot say enough good things about Seaport Dental. I found them based on previous Yelp reviews so I thought it was my duty to pass the word along. First, the basics: convenient location if you live/work in Southie or downtown, FREE parking, evening appointments usually available, extremely professional and comfortable office, and a helpful and amazing staff. I started going to Seaport Dental when a past dentist told me I needed multiple procedures that would total more than $10k to fix a bad root canal. I sought a second opinion and could not be happier with my decision to stick with Dr. Rooney at Seaport Dental. Dr. Rooney informed me that I did not need all of the procedures the previous dentist suggested and I was ultimately able to fix the root canal, a cavity, AND get invisalign for the cost of one series of procedures for a single tooth at my previous dentist. Everyone at Seaport Dental is extremely professional and helpful. All procedures and payment options are explained thoroughly before any decisions are made. Although I’m not someone who’s usually scared of the dentist, I got nervous during one procedure and even though I didn’t say anything, Dr. Rooney stopped what she was doing to talk to me and see how I was feeling . Additionally, I’ve met with Shelly mutliple times throughout my invisalign treatment and she is also fantastic. She explains everything, answers all of my (many) silly questions, and is just generally helpful. Finally, Brett is always very welcoming, extremely helpful, and quick to respond whenever I need to reschedule or cancel an appointment!

Best dentist ever! I boycotted the dentist for 5 years after a horrible provider scarred me for life, but Seaport Dental changed that! I am now obsessed with getting my teeth cleaned. Office is so nice, parking is easy & free (they validate your ticket), and hygienists are quick and SO NICE. I have since moved away but still drive back cause I refuse to go anywhere but here!

I have been here a few times now and every time is perfect so I felt I had to write a review! To start, the office is clean, bright and everyone is very friendly. Granted I am no expert on Dental equipment but everything in the office seems to be state of the art and very clean. Jenna M. has been my hygienist the past few times and she is awesome. She is sociable, very informative, has a soft touch and is easy on the eyes. She might be the best hygienest I have ever had! Renee also cleaned my teeth once and she is awesome too. What I like about the Dentists here (Dr. Greenberg and Dr. Rooney) is that they don’t push treatment on you to make an extra couple bucks. They only recommend what is necessary and they explain thoroughly why and how they made their decisions. I have had work done in the past with Dr. Rooney and she is great. Never any pain or discomfort. While I havent had Dr. Greenberg actually do any physical work on my teeth, I can only imagine the same holds true. Overall, I have always had a positive experience with the staff at Seaport Dental and would recommend them to anyone I know (in fact I have–my whole office goes here now).

Dr Rooney and her staff are fantastic! They are always smiling and genuinely seem happy to see you each time you visit. They have office hours late into the evening, so getting there after work is not a problem. Most importantly they do not run late! There have even been times that I am early and they are still ready for me! I needed a dental implant and Dr. Rooney was fabulous about explaining the process to me and never pushed me to do it sooner than I was ready (for both the financial aspect and the actual implant process). Susannah explained all the financial pieces clearly and there were no surprises when each payment was needed. While having the work done, I had almost every complication imaginable and Dr. Rooney was always great in fitting me into the schedule at the last minute. She even came in over Christmas break when the office was closed and my temporary tooth fell out! Shelly assisted most of my procedures and always put me at ease! She has a great “chair side manner” and always made sure I was ok. Before Dr. Rooney, I always hated going to the dentist, and although I still don’t love having my teeth cleaned, now I look forward to going to the dentist!

This is by far the best dental office I have ever stepped foot in, in every aspect; beautifully clean and pleasing appearance, very welcoming and comfortable waiting area, and the nicest most accomodating staff I have ever worked with at a medical facility. Dr. Rooney is AMAZING. Great personality and easy to talk to – which I’ve never experienced with any other dentist. They had GREAT music playing, which definitely added to my experience as well. Not your typical ‘elevator music’ you’d find at your everyday dentist. Dr. Rooney wasn’t pushy with any of the work that I could potentially have done in the future. She really made me feel like the decision was all mine and thoroughly explained my situation in every day terms/language. I have yet to have the work done, but as a first impression, this was as good as it gets. I definitely recommend this facility. Also to note – easy free 2 hour parking offstreet right across the street!

I hadn’t been to the dentist in who knows how long, at least 6+ years, maybe longer. I needed to find a new dentist and just GO. I looked online and Seaport Dental had really great reviews, flexible hours, and close by to me in South Boston. Perfect. Was I going to get that dentist judgment? You know, when they make you feel terrible for not flossing…or not going to the dentist in over 6 years. No. Just the opposite. They were so welcoming, happy to clean my teeth, made me feel very comfortable, explained everything so that I understood it. They even have these high-tech TVs where they can actually show you what’s going on with your teeth & gums. Upon leaving, I received a nice little bag of sensitive toothpastes, a toothbrush, a chapstick, and a one-time use whitening tray. That was all in June. I was thrilled to find a new dentist and finally get a professional cleaning after so long. I ended up having my first cavity, which was actually 2. I wasn’t able to get back in there until November, and I was so happy to be going back to Seaport Dental. When I arrived I was so nervous because I had never had a filling before. The thought of the Novocain needle and the drill were giving me cold sweats and my heart was thumping out of my chest. The whole staff made me feel at ease one by one. They explained everything step by step in a very endearing way. You are welcome to bring your ipod, which I did, and they also have Netflix that you can watch while getting any procedure done. And being located in South Boston, they also offer PARKING, which is great. I highly recommend Seaport Dental.

I’ve never left a dentist’s office thinking, WOW what an incredible experience, but that was before Dr. Rooney and Seaport Dental. Such a clean and up to date facility with all the best equipment. They use digital x-rays which have 98% less radiation than traditional x-rays, and they are capable of then pulling all your xrays and any live images of your teeth up on a tv in front of you. Also they use a sonic cleaning tool which uses water (NO MORE NASTY METAL PICK!) and is so much more gentle. Plus they were very helpful and explained every single thing in detail so I knew exactly what I was looking at and why it was important. Plus free whitening gel and trays each visit (way more powerful than the crest strips). I found myself calling friends and family and telling them, drop everything you’re doing and make an appointment at seaport dental. So far, nobody has been any less impressed.
