Painless, compassionate, and hi-tech These are the three ways I would describe my experience at Serene Family Dentistry, here in Ladera Ranch. As a busy, working mom, I found myself prioritizing my family’s needs over my personal dental health. As time passed, this honorable excuse slowly evolved into cowardice. This was because I had two molars that came in late in this stage of my life, coupled with the fact that I was confident I had a childhood silver filling, that needed attention. Put simply, I am terrified of pain and the idea of something going wrong in the process. After randomly coming across an online article about oral health and the even more broad risks associated with overall body health -when oral health is not maintained, I finally decided to take action.
As expected, my situation was serious, but the outcome could not have been any better!
First, Dr. Ebrahimi and support staff person took photographs of my teeth at every angle. As I sat in my chair, the doctor projected those photos on a television screen in front of us, explaining her conclusions and supporting that with meaningful illustrations. This team took their time with me, so I was educated and comfortable. Dr. Ebrahimi was careful to ensure that the entire process was 100% painless. To be clear, it was NOT “virtually” painless. It was absolutely, COMPLETELY painless. She explained to me that she uses very specific topical medicine to numb the area before injections. I learned that there are superior topical medications for this effort than others, and she does not scrimp! She also waited for the topical medicine to do the work before starting. I never felt rushed through the process like an insignificant number. This group sincerely cares for patients. Speaking of explaining,Dr. Ebrahimi regularly checked in to ask how I was feeling and to explain what she was doing as she went through the process. All of this was happening as I watched HGTV in the reclining chair! It’s worth mentioning that the front desk staff made the experience seamless with my insurance company, as well. They worked around my busy work and family schedule, and conveniently called in advance to remind me of both of the appointments. They also did ALL the work to coordinate with my insurance company. This state of the art office is as good as it gets. If you’re looking for the best dental experience, I could not recommend any higher Serene Family Dentistry.

After experiencing the most relaxed, easy, painless & surprisingly fast visits (crowns, filings and all) I made phone calls to my entire family to make sure they knew I found “the one” – A wonderful dentist who cures anxiety because she makes it so easy. My wife and I have been patients of Dr. Ebrahimi for about three years. We have enjoyed a higher level of expertise than with our previous dentist and Dr. Ebrahimi’s equipment and techniques are cutting-edge. We feel welcomed and cared-for by both the doctor and her staff. The office and dental rooms are well organized and spotless. The atmosphere in general is open, modern and sophisticated. We live about 40 minutes from Dr. Ebrahimi’s, but the extra commute time is well worth it.

I’m an older guy, 70. My first visit with Azita was 4 1/2 years ago. She’s pulled a tooth, done a couple of crowns, and I was also able to get an implant at her office, performed by her colleague. Thanks to the good doctor’s TLC, and quarterly visits, my oral health continues to be more than satisfactory. I highly recommend her services to all. Her office is modern, very much up to date in all respects. The doctor is contemporary, and very easy to get along with. She has a winning personality and a positive outlook.

I have been going to Serene Family Dentist for 2 years now and I love it. I have been to many dentists in Orange County and feel Serene Family dentist is the best. I believe Serene cares more about patient health than making money off them, unlike most other offices in the area. I rarely leave reviews, but I felt the need to pass on my opinion so others know a safe place to get dental care. The sonic cleaning technology she uses does not hurt! This was a huge plus for me because previous dentists I went to used older technology that caused some pain when cleaning. She also met my request to get e-mailed copies of my x-rays so I can keep an electronic record of my teeth. Being a computer nerd, I loved that she met my odd ball request 🙂

I started coming to Dr. Ebrahimi a little over a year ago upon the recommendation of a friend, and I can’t say enough about her. The office is immaculate, her staff is friendly and efficient, and Dr. Ebrahimi does all her own exams and cleanings. I’ve never waited more than 2 minutes to see her, and she takes her time explaining what she’s doing and educating the patient. I trust her completely and have recommended her to family and friends. She never tries to upsell us, and she’s even made a fan of my husband, who put off seeing a dentist for many years because of subpar experiences with local dentists. She’s saved us tens of thousands of dollars on unnecessary procedures recommended by previous dentists. Love her!!!

I usually rate fairly and to be honest Dr. Ebrahimi deserves more than 5 stars. First of all, you walk into a beautiful modern office where everything is super clean, then you have her staff who are super friendly and nice. And then you got Dr. Ebrahimi herself, she is just simply amazing as a person and at what she does. She fixed a few of my teeth that were done so badly by another dentist. I was in so much pain, but thanks to Dr. Azita she did a great job fixing them all again. Unfortunately it’s really difficult finding a dentist nowadays that’s actually really good, but I am super excited and happy that I have finally found the right one. Highly recommend

Recently moved to Ladera and came to Serene by recommendation. The Doctor was really great. She was nice but she did give me a little lecture about flossing (which I needed 🙂 ). My teeth were sore after my cleaning but its ok because I think it’s the best, most thorough cleaning I’ve ever had. The office is state of the art. It’s clean and modern. There are tv’s at each chair so you can watch tv while you’re having work done. I highly recommend Serene!!

It has been 30+ years of high anxiety, headache and at times heartbreak that can describe my past experiences with the dentist (and related) field(s). And then I met Dr. Azita Ebrahimi (Dr. E.) and her team in the winter of 2018. I made my first appointment with Dr. E. after having neglected my teeth for a solid 5 years. Yes, my grill was messed up not meth-mouth bad but pretty neglected none the less. I had all but given up on having a “nice” smile let alone a “great smile”. I was in a pretty depressed state and it was beginning to seriously take its toll on my interpersonal relationships. I was/had begun neglecting current friendships and completely lost all interest in making new ones. I had withdrawn into a shell. This would all change over the next two years and beyond; by leaps and bounds. Boy would it ever have a profound effect on me. I came across the Serene Family Dentistry website and decided to book my appointment through the site. Part of this process involved a window/field where I was able to describe a little bit about myself and past experiences with the dentist. I wrote of my anxiety and misgivings and hit submit; not sure what to expect. Rebecca, who handles the booking, billing and deals with insurance companies, (truly an unsung hero if ever there was on in this industry) called me within the week. Letting me know they read my bio (yes ‘they’ the staff all took the time to read of my anxieties and concerns). It should be clear that they took heed and accommodated me genuinely or I would not have written this short essay. Lol.
After an initial exam a “plan of attack” was put together. The work began the following week. Over the following two years I have had multiple cavities taken care of, root canals, crowns, tooth extractions and two implants. Not one time did I ever have a bad experience under the care of Dr. Ebrahimi. So much the opposite; I left that first visit with restored hope and inspiration. It was a little surreal. Dr. E has such a calm and welcoming demeanor and is truly empathetic towards her patient’s needs. At the end of every visit I felt relaxed and inspired to honor Dr. Ebrahimi’s expert care and artisanry by upping my oral hygiene practices. I have come to view these visits as therapeutic and now that I am done, I will miss my weekly visits with Dr E. I feel like I have made some great friendships with her and her staff and was a little sad and teary-eyed (if I’m being honest) to have finally completed this journey. But I will not despair too much; after all I need only to smile at people, which I do much more often now, to be reminded that I have at last found my “soul mate dentist “. Yes, Serene Family Dentistry is really that good!

She combines a very professional, yet personable approach with state of the art equipment and practices. It had been awhile since I had seen a dentist and decided it was about time I’d do a checkup (lets face it, no one likes to go to the dentist). As I was searching through my insurance provider I came across Serene Family Dentistry and took a look on yelp to see what people in the area thought about the practice; to my surprise there were a lot overwhelmingly positive reviews. I was thinking this is too good to be true, maybe these reviews are all bunk or “fixed” because… who in their right mind REALLY has a positive experience at a dentist? The only way I could find out was by making an appointment and see the place for myself. When I first arrived to the office I was given a tour of the place and an explanation for each station and who was who in the office. I have to say, the office is VERY clean and looks very modern and kids friendly compared to other offices I’ve been to, and there was a TV in front of each seat. As I was seated Dr. Azita came by and welcomed me, introduced herself, and actually had a conversation with me, getting to know me and such. I don’t know why more doctors don’t do this but it definitely added to my experience here at Serene Family Dentistry. When she did an inspection on my teeth she pointed out what was wrong or what could be potentially problematic. Not only does she tell you, she actually SHOWS you by taking a picture of it and pointing it out on a TV screen for you. A thorough dentist that has integrity? I may have hope for humanity yet. I have to say… Dr. Azita and her staff are just amazing. They make you feel comfortable and treat you like family. This office is well deserving of its 5 star reviews; check them out you won’t regret it!

I have been a patient of Dr. Ebrahimi’s for a little over two years now, and I have nothing but positive things to say about her, the office, and her staff. The office is beautiful, new, high-tech, and extremely clean. They have flat screens you can watch while your work is being performed. I first came to her after an advertised deal of $45 for cleaning, exam, and x-rays. I really liked the personal service I received from her, and I especially like that Dr. Ebrahimi takes the time to do the exam and cleaning herself. She also takes the time to personally go over the digital x-rays, and only truly recommends something if she believes it is necessary. Over the past two years I have spent quite a bit of money at the office, but I have really seen positive results that it is all worth it. She convinced me to get a custom made mouth guard that cost somewhere like $250, but TRULY it was worth it. That thing has saved my teeth, and has helped to reduce jaw pain and headaches. She really takes an interest in your dental health and remembers what she advises you from last appointment, even though it is usually around 6 months between appointments. She is a huge proponent of floss and fluoride mouth wash, and they really do work people!
I just had an exam today and I had the least amount of plaque build up and the least amount of bleeding, and that’s all due to following her plan. I really believe that she is the real deal, and I hope anyone on the fence about come here will be pursued by this review! I will be a loyal patient for as long as she is practicing dentistry!

Serene Family Dentistry is an absolute gem. My family and I have had a lot of experiences at different dental practices but none can compare to the care we receive here, thanks to Dr. Azita. First off, the office is spotless, modern, chic, and extremely calming. The staff is extremely prompt with you, willing to work with your schedule, and very understanding. They always have a smile on their face and truly work to make every patient have a personalized experience tailored to their individual needs. In terms of the dental services provided, Dr. Azita uses the top of the line technology to ensure your experience is as pleasant as possible. Her cleanings aren’t typical as she uses sonic technology to make it gentle and more effective. Furthermore, her injections are literally painless-no exaggerations. She numbs you so well with topical that when she gave me an injection for the first time I had no idea she was already injecting me until I opened my eyes more than half way through. She takes her time during each and every procedure and goes slowly to ensure you’re totally comfortable the entire time. In addition, she is always incredibly warm, professional, understanding, calm and sweet. I couldn’t ask for a more pleasant or kinder individual to be my dentist, she is simply excellent. Overall if you are in need of a new dentist or just unhappy with your current dental care provider, I highly highly recommend seeing Dr. Azita. Her practice is impeccable and I have happily referred countless of my friends and family to her.

Wanted to write a review about Dr. Azita. My wife and 2 kids, 9 and 7 have been patients of the doc for years. My wife has always raved about her. Very good with kids and adults. However, I have been loyal to my own dentist for the last 10 years. When I was notified that my current dentist was retiring, I did not hesitate to make the switch to Dr. Azita.
From my wife’s experience, I knew that the office was recently built. Was actually quite impressed when I first arrived. The office staff was friendly and got me back to to the “chair” with almost no wait… wasn’t sure if this was good. I’ve been to nice dentists offices before, but really, this place is beautiful. And very clean. Did I also mention this place was beautiful and clean? I was just there for a 6 month cleaning and met the Dr. Was actually surprised that she did the cleaning herself (I’m used to hygienists). Not to take anything away from dental hygienists, but was really impressed that the Dr. took the time to examine and recommend the proper care. No hard sell or services I did not need. Just a motherly lecture on the importance of proper oral hygiene. If anyone is looking for a dental office with a friendly staff and a dr that cares about you, check this place out.

I love this place! It is so difficult to find a good dentist and I finally did and they are close. They are upfront about cost, the entire staff is very friendly, thorough cleaning and explanation of problems. Most other dentists will scold you or make you feel bad and find a ton of things wrong. This Dr. will show you on the camera every issue she finds and give you a good price to fix it!
