Great experience! Seeing Dr. Janet Wong was a pleasure. She & her staff did a lot to make me feel very comfortable. She explained in details before beginning the bridge work procedure. It was painless, beautiful, perfect fit & match, it works perfectly and the price was very reasonable compare with my previous dentist’s charge on the similar work. I like to express my sincere thanks for the outstanding dental services provided to me. Good dentists like Dr Janet Wong and Dr. Jennifer Wong are hard to find. I not only love their excellent professional services and also cherish their friendliness and smile.  I have found the best dentists !

I moved into the valley but I cant bear to break up with my dentist here. Serenity is ran by two sisters and I have had work done by both of them from an emergency root canal in the middle of the night that Dr. Jennifer Wong has showed up to, several cavities filled by Dr. Janet and Jennifer Wong, as well as my routine care. They are so wonderful, and I can’t say enough good things about them. Their staff is also amazing! I saw Rosa for the first time in 1.5 years and she still remembers my friend who came in with me and we had a chit chat about conversations years old. I keep telling myself that I’m a pragmatist and I will find a dentist closer to home, but never mind that. This is one of those healthcare places that you go to and stay for as long as you can!

I hated going to the dentist like most people, but the care at Serenity is top notch. Everyone there are very detailed oriented and take the time to specifically communicate what is happening, when it’s going to happen, how it may feel and what to do if you feel uncomfortable. They find time to squeeze you in if you have an urgent issue. I can literally go on and on.

I decided to come here on the urging of a few of my friends who have been here through word of mouth.  EVERYTHING they told me was true!  I will no longer go anywhere else!!! Of course I was a little hesitant but overall they had good reviews on yelp so I decided to not be a chicken and go. The staff is super friendly and the place is really really clean.  The person who took my xray was patient and made sure to do it painless.  For some reason I remember it hurting before. As for the prices, they are not price gougers like what a couple of the reviews said.  They made sure I understood what I need so I wouldn’t be surprised.  I have been to offices where they would do work without telling me what my co-payment was just to find out I had to shell out a thousand dollars even though I wasnt prepared to pay for it!! So embarrasing! Apparently there are two dentists here who are sisters.  I saw them both on different occasions since I came here first to get a cleaning and exam and then had to come back for a couple of fillings.  I was told by a previous dentist in the Marina that I had to have a few crowns done but when I saw both Dr. Wongs (on their different days), they agreed that some simple fillings would be more conservative and would be better for my teeth.  I haven’t had any problems since. They explained everything about my oral hygiene and i will now be a flosser!

I just visited Serenity Dental Care this Saturday for my cleaning and have been a patient of Dr. Wong for more than 2 years now. The looks of their office first caught my attention as I was driving by. I am really picky about how clean a dental or medical office has to be before I enter into it. Serenity Dental Care is so spotless that I even take my shoes off when I sit in the chair! But what really made me choose Dr. Wong as my dentist is the fact that she is a painless and very ethical doctor! Who can say that from their dentist? Not many people! Dr. Wong always spends enough time explaining what work needs to be done and gives me options on treatments available and fees associated with it. I also love their digital X-rays that displays everything right away on the computer screen. Her staff always makes me laugh when I am in the chair, and that is why I do not fear going to the dentist anymore. I usually do not schedule doctors visits in advance, but I enjoy so much going to Serenity Dental Care that I make an exception and always make my next appointment before leaving the office. Finally I recently received a Happy Birthday card from Serenity. It was the first time I received one from my dentist. Thanks you guys!!!

I found Dr. Janet Wong’s clinic through a referral from my oral surgeon.  I needed to restore a crown following my dental implant. On my appointment day, I was greeted by a friendly receptionist at their spotless and high-tech office. Dr. Janet Wong carefully examined, measured, and installed the parts on my tooth implant  to prepare them for a new crown.  She was very patient and explained each step of the crown fitting process in detail ensuring I knew exactly what she was doing. She did an incredible job.  It was a perfect fit! I can now bite and chew as they were my own teeth! Thank you Dr. Wong!  I will be going to you for all my future dental needs.

So up until I found Serenity Dental, i’ve bounced around many dentists in the SGV area where I grew up and the Westside where I lived after college. Some of the dentists I liked enough, but there was always one thing or another that I didn’t like so I never stuck with them. However all of that changed after I found Serenity Dental. There is literally not one thing I do not like about this place. Let’s face it, having to keep your mouth open while someone pokes at your teeth is not a pleasant experience in general, but Serenity Dental is consistently by far the best dental experience I’ve ever had. Here’s why: 1. Parking/location. They’re located on Washington Blvd right off the freeway making them super easy to get to. Even though Washington is a big street, the office is right next to a residential cul-de-sac which always has tons of hassle free parking. This is just a minor thing, but having easy parking makes for a better overall experience. 2. Front Desk. One thing I’ve come to appreciate from medical offices in general is the people at the front desk. I’ve had a few experiences with good doctors but front desks who were unpleasant and difficult to work with regarding scheduling, insurance, etc. This isn’t the main factor obviously but having a good front desk goes a long way and Serenity Dental front desk people are great. 3. Dental skill. This is by far the most important thing to me in a dentist and the dentists at Serenity are top notch. The office is run by two dentists, Jennifer and Janet who are sisters. They both truly care for their patients and are passionate about what they do and it really shows. Depending on scheduling you can end up with either one of them but they’re both awesome. I always get confused who’s who because they’re wearing masks most of the time so even though I can tell their voice apart I forget which one is Jennifer and which one is Janet. For basic cleanings, I’ve had other dentists where I’m tearing up because they’re too rough and it’ll hurt for hours afterward, but Janet and Jennifer are thorough but also gentle and careful. Oh yea, Janet and Jennifer do the cleaning themselves, you won’t have some assistant doing the cleaning then the dentist just giving you a rushed inspection afterward. I’ve also had a few procedures done here (emergency root canal, cap over a chip, fillings), and the skill, efficiency, and precision is top notch. I’ve had bad experiences with such work at other places and I fully trust that Serenity will always do a good job. 4. Welcoming environment. Everyone from the front desk to the techs who do the x-rays and such is very friendly and welcoming. J and J really take their time with each patient and are incredibly personable. This makes each visit much more enjoyable because they actually take the time to talk to you and get to know you. 5. Facilities. They have the most high tech tools of any place I’ve been to. The metal pick they use for cleaning shoots water, and there’s a large screen right next to the chair that’s connected to this special camera that they can take Hi-res photos of the inside of your mouth so you can see exactly what they’re describing. The whole office is very clean and inviting and well maintained. I’ve since moved out of the Westside because I was transferred to a different location for work, but I love and trust Serenity so much that I still make the trek out to the Westside rather than find a new dentist. If you live in LA you know how big of a deal this is and shows how much I value their care.
