I had an implant placed in my jaw by Dr. Setya. I have had several before from other doctors, I visited other offices in Laguna Niguel and Mission Viejo and was not impressed. My dentist Dr. Mar recommended Dr. Setya and I understand why; he is excellent. The office staff (Robin) and the assistants were fabulous. I was very impressed with the professionalism of the entire team. The preparation, medications, and communication to my medical doctor was great. The pre-op care was clear and easy to do. The surgery was comfortable with no pain, it was actually a lot better than I thought. The post-op and planning of future appointments was excellent. Also, they worked will with my insurance company and I am actually paying less than I thought. If I ever need an implant again? I hope not, but if so, I will definitely go back to Dr. Setya. His team has my full recommendation!

The two greatest Periodontists around! Very gentle, knowledgeable and caring. They have the latest technology that makes procedures quick and less painful. Both doctors are great at explaining every procedure to you before and answering your questions thoroughly. The staff is great too! I was treated with the utmost care and experienced stellar customer service from the minute I walked through the door. I’m so happy I came here. Everyone in the office is so friendly! Amanda greeted me as soon as I walked in. Michelle gave me a tour and assisted dr Setya during the operation. Robin went over pricing and insurance with me. I was referred to Dr Setya after a frustrating experience with another periodontist. I needed a crown lengthening done due to having a fractured tooth, and had booked the procedure with another periodontist 3 weeks ago for today, 8/17. Two days ago the other office called me and said they needed to move my appointment to another week because they double booked me. I was frustrated because I’m a mom of two young girls (1.5 and 3.5) and I work full time. I had already arranged childcare and took the day off of work for this procedure. I wanted to get this over with, and I hate getting work done on my teeth. Just knowing what this procedure would entail gave me anxiety. I was really frustrated when the other office didn’t seem considerate of my situation. My regular dentist then referred me to Dr Setya, who was able to fit me in for today. I thought I was just going for a consult, but it turned out he was actually able to do the procedure on me today! I was overjoyed because today was the day I was originally supposed to have this done. So happy! The procedure went smoothly and much faster than I anticipated. Dr. Setya made sure I was extra numb, as I typically have a hard time getting numb. He asked me how I was doing every couple of minutes. He kept me apprised of his progress and was very reassuring the entire time. I was extremely comfortable in this office and just blown away that they were able to take care of my problem right then and there.

Let me tell you, it’s so weird sitting on the other side of the chair as a patient! But my experience as a surgery patient was excellent! I got my dental implant, first was an extraction with bone graft, then 3 months later a dental implant! Pain-free, very comfortable and my recovery time was very fast! A matter a fact after my Implant surgery I went back to assisting right away! Of course, I have my regular hygiene visit in our office too, every 3 to 4 month I am taking advantage of how lucky I am to see Laurie or Melody They are both excellent RDH – no wonder some of our patients are coming to see them far away after they moved even from out of state just to be in their chair. Dr. Ajay Setya and his office specializes on Gum Diseases and I prefer to get my dental cleanings done here, because the staff is highly trained, experienced and professional and pay great attention to gum health and other issues that need attention, when one gets the dental cleaning done here. I have been coming to this office for a long time. I had the dental cleaning appointment here at this office in June 2019. I had a great overall experience with my dental cleaning and the hygienist was great, meticulous, very patient and methodical. She explained me which teeth had more plaques as compared to others and had gum issues related to those teeth. I am glad she was able to bring up those issues and go over in details about how to address those gum issues and other brushing methods. It was a great overall experience. Few years back, I had a dental implant done by Dr. Ajay Setya and he did an excellent job on that implant placement and I have never had any issues with that implant later on. He had given adequate local anesthesia, so i did not experience any kind of discomfort or pain. The procedure went very smoothly. He is very kind, compassionate, easy to talk to, professional, experienced, caring and used his expertise to do an excellent job on my case. His assistant staff is also equally wonderful and trained. I would always come back here to Dr. Setya again, if I would need an implant again in future. I would highly recommend this office your all dental needs.
