Dr. B has been my dentist since I moved here 3.5 years ago and I have to say has given me the best dental experience of my life. I have a history of cavities and dental work – my sisters and I used to joke that our teeth were made of a cross between cotton and marshmallows, about 12 of my 28 teeth have crowns. So, needless to say I have never really enjoyed going to the dentist. That all changed once I started going to Dr. B – she is the sweetest, most patient and genuinely caring dentist I’ve ever had. She takes a deliberate approach to finding the right treatment solution for you, explains your options along the way and what her recommendation is, all the while empowering you to make your own choice as to what you would like to do by providing you with both the benefits and risks associated with your decision. She truly cares about your dental health and you as a person – she always remembers my husband’s name and to ask about how he is doing, remembers what we talked about last time (even when I don’t) and goes above and beyond to be available and supportive to her patients. She recently asked what more she could be doing to support me and her other patients, and I could not think of a single thing that would make my dental experience better. Simply put, I love Dr. B and her whole team, and would recommend them to anyone!

I went to see Dr. Sushmita Bhardwaj for bi-annual check recently. I must admit that I am really scared of dental appointments because of some bad experiences in the past but Dr. Sushmita was so nice. She made me totally comfortable and did a wonderful job. I highly recommend her!!

Disclaimer : I consider Sushmita as a very good friend. When another dentist suggested that I fill in a “future” cavity on a sensitive tooth, I came to Sushmita for a second opinion. I am very happy to say Sushmita is as great a dentist as she is a friend. She was very patient, and explained the whole process while we went through it. She said that my sensitivity is due to exposed root, showed me exactly what I can do to stop further exposure and helped avoid unnecessary procedures. I followed her advice for a few weeks and the sensitivity has gone down a lot. Thank you Sushmita. Recommended.

I had an amazing experience with Dr. Bhardwaj and I’ve been recommending her to everyone. She gave the most thorough exam I’ve ever had and her cleaning was gentle and painless.  She has a delightful bedside manner, as well, explaining everything and even using special camera to take pictures of my teeth so she could show me what was going on.  Even if you’re not actively looking for a new dentist, make your next cleaning appointment with Dr. Bhardwaj!

Gosh, where do I start. First of all, my dental saga isn’t over. I’m hopeful by the time I update this you’ll read that my mouth-face is in much better shape. Long-story-as-short-as-possible, I had an awful dentist as a kid so I’m now crazy afraid of any treatment so I’ve not been to the dentist in a little while. (OK, several years.) But, although I’ve only had one appt. so far with Dr B, she immediately made me feel a little more at ease. Looks like I need a fair few things doing (cavities, maybe a root canal which is my actual nightmare, and more) but I feel confident this will all go smoothly. For my initial appt. we took a bunch of x-rays and I had a light clean and fluoride (never had that before in the UK)–all of which went super smoothly and gently. I was also referred to another dentist for this potential root canal, which I appreciate! Getting a second opinion is really awesome for such a nervous patient like me. (Everyone cross your fingers I don’t need it.) I’ll update after my next visit, but so far so great–recommend Dr B.

So one of my wisdom teeth has been bothering me for a while. However, every time when I tried to find a dentist, the pain would go away. Since I had waited until the very end to remove one of them years ago, which was horrible because I couldn’t chew or drink water, I told myself I would bite the nail and get over with it! After doing research and contacting other Yelpers, I decided to give Dr. Bhardwaj a try. I went in and did a $99 new patient deal, which included an initial examination of the affected wisdom tooth and x-rays of the area. Then I received an estimation of $347 for the extraction. It was about $25 more than my previous dentist, but for some reason, I felt comfortable enough to let that go and stay with Dr. B. They also squeezed me in because my case was pretty urgent. I’m one of those patients that have an unexplained fear of going to the dentist. My hands get sweaty, heart skipping beats, and get super anxious. However, through the whole thing, even though I was scared to death, I was able to feel okay because the doctor gave me good updates as she was working on my tooth and all her assistants were very caring. Definitely recommending this place to my friends and sticking with this place! If you need more info, feel free to send me a message!

I have gone to see Dr. B a few times now, and each time it has been phenomenal! Let’s face it, a lot of people aren’t looking forward to going to the dentist. However, Sushmita is so charismatic and friendly, she makes it a pleasure. She takes pictures to show you trouble areas to help you better understand. This is very helpful. Sushmita also doesn’t nag on you, but does give helpful relevant suggestions (yes, floss ). Booking online is an ease, and they’re proactive at reminders for cleaning. Overall, based on her and her staff, it’s a 5 star experience.

I’d suffered from sporadic wisdom tooth pain for over a year while I procrastinated having them taken out. After the top two made their way through, the pain from crowding was no longer bearable. In my online search for nearby dentists, I came across SF Family Dentistry. With an affordable savings plan for those w/o dental ins. and flawless yelp/google reviews, I looked no further! Dr. B answered my call mid-day while on vacation! Even on vacation, she took her time listening to my complaints and answering my questions before scheduling me first thing the next morning. Dr. B removed both top wisdom teeth that next morning and I was on my way home (with flowers!) in no time. Dr. B and her assistants were all so friendly and attentive – making me feel very comfortable. The removal itself was painless and Dr. B talked to me throughout the entire process. This office does not feel like a dentist’s – from the moment you walk in the atmosphere is lighthearted and friendly, all of your concerns are heard and your questions are answered. Moreover, Dr. B’s care for you doesn’t just end when you leave her office. She makes a point to reach out and check in on you while you heal. Its been two weeks since the removal and I cannot thank Dr. B enough for the care I received before, during, and after my appointment. My healing process was remarkably painless and quick. I am SO glad I found Dr. B and got those buggers out!

I’ve been going to Dr. B for the past year and LOVE her office. Not only does she genuinely care about her patients in the office but she went out of her way to reach out to me during Covid-19 to see if I needed anything (unrelated to any dental needs). She is one of the best dentists in the industry and can’t say enough about her knowledgeable staff.

I’ve seen several different dentists over the past few years but Dr. B. is my favorite. To begin, she’s very welcoming and friendly. She provides a thorough explanation of what she hopes to accomplish and breaks down everything in terms that are easy to understand. She regularly asked me if I was comfortable during the the procedure and it was clear that she wasn’t just trying to get me out the door as quickly as possible. I also admire the business side their practice. She understands the concept of customer acquisition and is willing to provide perks for those who help her grow (for example, I got a free fluoride treatment when I liked her Facebook page). I really enjoyed Dr. B. and have already booked my next appointment.

I have been visiting Dr. B for over 2 years now. I can’t remember how many times I’ve seen her but what I do remember is that every single time I’ve visited her office, I’ve felt like this is a professional who puts the care back in healthcare. There are many reviews here and on yelp that speak volumes about her and her staff, but I personally would summarize her as the BEST medical professional that I’ve seen on 2 fronts: empathy and skill. It’s a very rare combination!
