Very happy with Dr. Carroll. i have had a lot of trouble finding a kids dentist for my daughter, because she has special needs and is petrified of the dentist. Dr. Carroll let my daughter visit the day before my daughter’s appointment to make sure her first visit was fun. It made the actual dental appointment a lot better. Defiantly recommend.

As a mother of three active boys Dr. Carroll is a lifesaver! She is always available with a warm smile and comforting personality for our boys. Whether we’re in for a routine cleaning or a more complex procedure she has handled every visit with a calm patience and positive attitude that our boys adore! She goes above and beyond to make sure her patients (and parents) feels safe and relaxed and will answer ANY questions they have (and our boys have lots of questions 😉 Best of all we’ve always left happy and excited to come back! The office’s sunny fun atmosphere is a direct reflection of this wonderful professional we’re lucky to have in town! All the best Dr. Shari!!!

We brought our newborn to Dr. Carroll after receiving several referrals to her for his tongue and lip tie. She took her time to talk with us and we never felt pressured to have the procedure performed, the decision was completely ours. We decided to go ahead with it and the entire procedure took only 10 minutes. We barely sat down in the waiting room before they came out to tell us he was all done. Our son did really well with it and we’re very happy we had it done. We had a few follow-up appointments with Dr. Carroll to make sure he was healing properly and she gave us daily exercises to do in his mouth at home, she was very thorough. Also, her office is so clean and modern and the staff was so friendly.

No wonder she has such stellar reviews- her office is AMAZING for kids. I’ve been stalling on finding a dentist and bringing my little guy in (just under 3 years old), but I kept seeing these amazing reviews for Dr. Carroll. I called them and set up an appointment. Walking in, they had a welcome sign with my child’s name on it- super personalized. Their office is so bright and cheery, they have a basket of toys, puzzles, cars, AND a cool light wall that my toddler just didn’t want to leave. Go into the back, and they have a separate little kid door JUST for kids to walk through. Super cute. In their rooms, they’re all decorated kid-friendly and cozy. TV screens are mounted on the ceilings, so they can show your kid’s favorite movie or show while they’re getting their teeth cleaned. The technician spoke so well to my boy, showed and explained to him everything she was doing and what all the instruments were. Enter Dr. Carroll, equally warm and welcoming. I was so afraid that my kid wouldn’t sit still in the chair, but he was perfect! At the end, they gave him a goody bag filled with a toothbrush, toothpaste, and other things PLUS gave him a balloon PLUS walked him over to a giant closet that had shelves full of small tinker toys that he could choose from. Is it all over the top? Maybe. But when your kid is young, and going to the dentist can be a scary thing (I STILL hate going to the dentist myself), every little touch and detail matters. My kid had such a great time at their office, he asked if we could go again the next day! Plus a few weeks later, we received a nice handwritten note from Dr. Carroll thanking us for coming in. Can’t say enough good things!

Doctor Shari’s office is like a dream, its beautiful with whimsical details everywhere for your child to feel comfortable. Her staff is helpful, informative and friendly. My son and I love Dr. Shari so much. I think he may have a crush on her. She really does everything in her power to make you feel comfortable and that she cares.

I went to Dr.Carroll after struggling for 3 weeks with breastfeeding my newborn. He had seen 4 doctors prior and no one could explain why his latch was so painful. I was recommended by my lactation consultant to see Dr.Carroll. I called at 9am one morning and explained to the front office staff that I was having 10/10 pain with breastfeeding and was recommended to come in for a consultation to see if baby had a tongue tie. They booked me an appointment for 10am that same day. Dr. Carroll was so nice and loving. The way she held my newborn let me know just how much passion she has for what she does. She examined him and showed me his tongue tie and lip tie! After applying a tiny bit of local anesthesia, She did the revision that same day! After the revision my son was asleep in her arms. No crying. No bleeding. He was able to nurse an hour later and wasn’t fussy. She had us come in every few days for follow-ups to assure that he was healing properly. When we “graduated” she gave us clear instructions on how to assure my son would continue to recover/heal well and how to prepare and care for his new teeth. It took 2 weeks after the revision and working with a lactation consultant to finally get to a place where both me and my son could enjoy breastfeeding. I am so happy I went to her and I look forward to returning once my son has teeth 🙂 Tips/good to know: the price for the revision included follow up appointments, she has a room for babies that’s clean and separated from toddler patients, all staff are very comfortable with newborns, coffee machine in the waiting room, bathroom is very clean and has changing table and items you may need, there is meter parking on the streets or free garage parking attached to the building, the beach is a block away so great to go for a walk before or after appointment.

We LOVE LOVE LOVE Dr. Carroll and Esti! Both of my children had wonderful experiences as new patients and walked away asking when they could go back! The office is beautiful, colorful, fun, and kid friendly. It is obvious Dr. Carroll has drawn on her years of experience in pediatric dentistry to create a space that is perfect and intentionally welcoming and comforting to her patients. The waiting area has a huge wall-mounted lite bright, toys, comfortable seating, and complimentary la croix and coffee for parents! There’s even a child sized door next to the adult door to go back to the exam room. My kids LOVED that touch. Each exam room has bright walls with surfboard TVs mounted on the ceilings for kids to watch their chosen movie during treatment. Dr. Carroll tastes every single thing she uses and chooses only the best, most kid-friendly flavors for her polishes and fluoride treatments. My kids chose chocolate. Esti did an amazing job polishing and flossing the kids and making them feel comfy and loved. She is extremely warm and put my previously dental-phobic daughter at ease during her x-rays. They got pics of every tooth and my daughter actually enjoyed the experience. I was amazed. They also have a handheld camera to use on kids who need to lie down for x-rays. My son was able to zone out and watch his movie while Dr. Carroll took his pics herself. I was also super impressed by how much time Dr. Carroll took with me to explain everything she was doing and what my kids teeth looked like/needed. She is so knowledgeable. It’s awesome to see someone who is just really, really excellent at their job and has passion for it. She is an expert through and through. Great with kids and with parents! Other things: 1. Dr. Carroll also does special needs pediatric dentistry and has an awesome sensory room for her special needs kiddos. It was so cool! 2. She helps newborn babies who are tongue-tied and has the cutest lactation/consultation room. 3. THERE ARE FAIRY HOUSES ON THE WALLS. You guys!!!! 4. Dr. Carroll thinks kids should have positive feelings about their dentist office so they are more comfortable when they need to come in for exams. To that end she hosts fun parties just for her kids to come in and get used to the space without having anything to do with their teeth. My kids are pumped to go to the upcoming LEGO party Basically, you need to take your kids to Dr. Carroll immediately. You will be so glad you did.

This place was AMAZING with my two little ones, age 4 and 3. Everything they do is geared around making the children feel special so the kids have an awesome time and get their teeth checked at the same time! From the super cute little door that is specially built for kids to the takeaways they get at the end, I came away feeling like I’d been at a kids’ party. Can’t recommend this place enough!

As a Pediatrician, I will admit being critical at times of other health care providers with my children. Dr. Shari and her team were beyond amazing with my two little ones. First time neither of them have cried at the dentist and no lie, they both asked when they can come back! Can’t sing their praise enough and such a great experience from the scheduling to seeing Dr. Shari. We will be back in 6 months without fail.

We just took our daughter to her first dentist appointment here and Dr. Shari is incredible. Her office is MAGICAL. Seriously, I wish my dentist’s office was like this growing up. She is super attentive and knowledgable. My daughter now loves the dentist. After we left, she told me she wanted to go back. I cannot say enough good things. Dr. Shari thought of everything. I wish I could give her more than 5 stars.

Dr.Shari is not only board certified but incredibly compassionate with our three boys! We struggle with anxiety and her patience and treatments are cool and calm. We love the bright welcoming office and are thrilled to have her in our family’s corner.

Dr. Shari is seriously the best! She has our business for life! I have 2 young daughters. She was so sensitive with my BF struggles with my youngest- what I thought was something I “just had to deal with” turned out to be something Dr. Shari quickly identified and even quicker to fix! My baby had a tongue tie that Dr. Shari gently and expertly fixed in no time. The procedure changed everything for the better! Both of my girls (and I!) love going to Dr. Shari!

Dr. Shari Carroll and her team are the best of the best! Dr. Shari delivers exceptional care and makes you feel like family. She understands children and their needs. Her calm demeanor and gentle approach put my daughter at ease right away. She takes the time to go over questions and makes sure you understand all the treatment that needs to be done. My daughter LOVES coming here!  The office is beautiful, bright, and impeccably clean. The office decor is vibrant and designed to make kids feel comfortable. I highly recommend this dental office and I would give them 10 stars if I could. Looking forward to our future visits!

We have had the best experience at Dr.Carroll’s office. They love going to the office and it such a kid friendly environment. Everything from the decor to the small “kids” door they walk through to go in for their appointment is so well thought out. The staff members are all friendly and inviting and Dr.Carroll really puts them at ease..even when they are having a cavity filled. She has great skill in knowing how to best work with the pediatric population. We are very happy to have been referred by a friend to this office several years ago!

Wow what an incredible experience! First we walk into the lobby and there are all kinds of interactive kids games, kids music and fun things to take our children’s minds off of any fear they might have about going to the dentist. The paperwork was done at a computer which made that process much nicer. And they even have a miniature door for kids to walk into the office. They’ve truly thought of everything. Then the exam begins and all the staff were so professional and friendly and thorough with our daughter. She got to watch a cartoon while the dentist did the cleaning and made her feel at ease with every step of the exam. Our daughter was a little nervous but the whole process was so smooth and it was such a relief to finally take our daughter to the dentist which we had been putting off. We get in the car and start to drive home and our daughter asked when she got to go back!

A lot of parents have concerns and doubts with regards to finding the right dentist for their child. All I can say is that I wish my pediatric dentist office was this cool! Then I’d probably have fonder memories of getting my teeth worked on! There are two indicators that tell you that a dental office is special. One, you won’t hear a single kid crying or screaming… and two, your child tells you that he/she wants to go back again. Dr. Carroll was highly referred to me by some friends in the area and I can see why. I called in and the front desk staff were super friendly and helpful in assisting me. Once we walked in, there was a personalized welcome sign for my daughter along with a bunch of amazing toys and games to keep the kids occupied. All of the rooms are beautifully designed with bright colors and cool wall decorations. They even have flat screens installed on the ceilings for your kids to watch whatever they like. It’s a genius idea to keep them distracted while the dental assistants work on your toddler’s teeth. After 15-20 minutes or so, we were all done and she got a goodie bag with toys and a balloon! When it’s all said and done, Dr. Carroll was very thorough and even pointed out some things that we weren’t aware of. She definitely put our questions and concerns at ease. My daughter absolutely loved her first visit and can’t wait to go back! Isn’t that something?

I was nervous to take me 2.5 year old to the dentist. I knew he wouldn’t sit still and definitely wouldn’t keep his mouth open for other to stick objects in.  The minute you walk into this office one definitely feels at ease.  The staff is friendly and the waiting room is filled with all sorts of entertaining for children. My son was staring at the bubble wall for a while before redirecting his attention to the giant lite brite wall, then the tablet table. There were also many books and baskets of toys. Once we went into the actual room, he wasn’t interested in leaning back on a chair so I sat on the chair and he was on top of me. They had a tv on the ceiling and toys for him to hold on to while they counted and cleaned his teeth. They communicated so well with him that he cooperated with no issues. We left with a toy from the toy closet and a balloon! It was an unexpectedly delightful trip and we can’t wait to come back in six months! I would recommend Dr. Shari and her staff without a doubt!

Dr. Carroll was absolutely incredibly in handling our 10 day old baby girl’s tongue tie procedure! Her and her entire staff (and office space) are warm, friendly, professional, and welcoming. They made us feel SO at ease as we went through this challenging time with our daughter. We cannot recommend Dr. Carroll enough, she was wonderful and we will 100% be back!

My two year old had never been to the dentist before and I wanted his first experience to be a pleasant one. I’m so glad we chose Dr. Shari Carroll!! When we first walked in, I noticed a sign on the reception desk that said “Welcome Cameron”, I felt so special:) Dr. Carroll and her staff were very welcoming and calming to my son. She took the time to sit with me after my son’s appointment and educate me on how to keep his teeth healthy and also how to work with him on some oral sensitivity he has. The office is like a dreamland for kids. Many toys to interact with in the waiting room and there is even a touchscreen desk and a cool led light wall! They had the cutest little “kid size” door for him to walk through and he loved it! They had one of his favorite movies on with the screen mounted to the ceiling so he could enjoy it while getting treated. As we were escorted out, my son was given the choice of a toy to take home. All of my expectations were exceeded and I HIGHLY recommended Dr. Shari Carroll to all parents! Your little ones will be in GREAT hands:)

I was a bit nervous when it came to finding the right dentist for my kids. I was also nervous because I wasn’t prepared to have to keep a 1 year old and a 3 year old occupied while they were seen by the dentist. My worries immediately went out the door when I walked in. This office is so kid friendly and the staff is amazing. They have toys and movies to entertain. My kids did great and we can’t wait to return for their next appointment.

Dr. Carroll and her staff are extremely professional and friendly. She recently did a tongue tie procedure on my twin boys which was quick and without complication. We brought our three-year-old girl  along for the procedure and follow-ups and they treated her very special and gave her little prizes each time she was there.

We recently had to find a new dentist for our two-year-old twins because their previous dentist was no longer a preferred provider with our insurance company. We loved our previous dentist and didn’t think we would be able to find someone equally awesome, but we were definitely wrong. Enter Dr. Carroll… As soon as we walked into the office, there was a personalized sign welcoming our kids to the office. Such a thoughtful touch! The office is super fun and the kids loved playing in the waiting room. My daughter loved the light peg wall, my son loved the bubble wall, and I found the small door for the children to enter through completely adorable. They really thought of every little detail when designing the office. Dr. Carroll and her staff were all very kind and patient with the kids. They took the time to explain what they were doing at each step, and enticed them with “tooth sparkles” and chocolate fluoride. Pretty sure the kids would go back every day if we let them. At the end of the appointment they received goodie bags, report cards, and got to pick a prize from the prize closet. My kids genuinely enjoyed their visits, and I feel so happy knowing that they will be in such good hands with Dr. Carroll! Thank you all for a wonderful experience!

Wow. I have TWIN 3 year olds and we went to the dentist. First time visit – and I was completely blown away by this office. The location was super convenient with free underground parking in the building. We went up an elevator and walked around the side of the building to enter through the main doors- don’t miss this because there is a BUBBLE wall and a little welcome sign that had my kids names on it! Set the tone for the whole experience which was a WIN. We were welcomed, front desk staff was amazing and already called my girls by their names, made a big deal of how great the visit was going to be and invited them to play with the LIGHT WALL and race car track. Lots of awesome books and little toys too, and a table with some touch games on it. Office as impeccably clean and beautiful. Can not hear any dental equipment sounds at all. We were welcomed in by Dr. Carroll and we went to the open air treatment chairs, the staff and Dr. Carroll were BEYOND AMAZING with kids. Took tons of time to show them each part of the process. They were exactly what I had been searching for from a pediatric dentist. We got full check ups, teeth cleanings, fluoride varnish, and a trip to the toy closet. (they are THREE years old!! I had no idea they would be able to do all this) The open air chair situation. WOW. If you have twins, this is a game changer. We took two chairs, had simultaneous cleanings, then Dr. Carrolls exams done, and fluoride on in no time. We didn’t have to debate who went first, who got which movie (They have flat screens mounted on the celling with headphones) etc. Dr. Carroll is so easy going, and she has a lot of options for kids with sensory struggles or dental anxiety, she asked how we wanted to set up the appointment. She also was open to going one at a time, same chair, two chairs, etc. A really welcoming way to give us some options. Dr. Carroll was so through and walked me through a discussion on proper toothpaste selection and some tips for each child’s oral care. She was very open to questions and treated my girls so kindly. I hope we never need her for a dental emergency, but I sure am glad we have someone we can count on now if that need should arise. I encourage you to try this office, it is really top of the line in Pediatric Dentistry. BONUS: she has office parties (Princess! LEGOs!) every few months to let the littles explore the office and get more comfortable with the experience. What a find.

Our 5 week song had a lip tie that was interfering with breastfeeding. Dr Carroll did an amazing job with his frenectomy. Breastfeeding is easier than ever and his lip tie looks great! She has the CO2 laser. It was a fast procedure and healed quickly. Dr Carroll followed up with us the following day and every few days in person to ensure the exercises were working. We also took our 2 year old daughter here for a cleaning and Dr Carroll was great with her. The office is very clean and decorated nicely. Parking is on street or in the under ground parking garage next to chez melange. Great office, staff and customer service.
