This is the best dentist office I have ever been to. I have a son with special needs, who is hypersensitive. Brian cleans his teeth and is extremely patient and gentle with him. Prior to Brian’s care, he required laughing gas for dental cleanings. Brian was able to talk him through it without any gas. Both Doctor’s Menaker and Rodney are wonderful. I have not met their newest dentist, both have found everyone else in the office to be top notch!

I had a fantastic visit!!! I have been through a lot of mouth trauma and coming here was the best decision I’ve ever made!!! Dr. Menaker came and met with me personally after x-rays, and before teeth cleaned. His staff is not only attractive but super nice and helpful for those of us, who are scared of the visits! I even received a letter in the mail, thanking me for my visit!!! Super grateful and felt safe with all the protective gear everyone was wearing! Thank you all, for making me feel comfortable and making my smile so clean and bright!!!

As usual everyone was very nice. They appear to be doing a great job with PPE, social distancing and sanitizing everything between patients. Some dental procedures are different to minimize spray and splatter. Hadn’t thought about this but glad they did. Stephanie, my hygienist did her typical excellent work as did the dentist.

I call this dental practice the Charlotte branch of the UNC School of Dentistry because of their ferocious focus on delivering the most knowledgeable and skillful care. Doctors Scott Menaker and Trish Rodney are graduates of the UNC and the University of Michigan Schools of Dentistry, respectively, both of which are ranked in the top 10 nationally. These doctors are highly dedicated to the practice and advancement of dental medicine. They have provided me with not only the routine check-ups but on occasion have diagnosed problems that, had they been allowed to continue untreated, would have necessitated extraction. I am grateful for the high level of vigilance that they exercise on behalf of every patient who comes before them. The quality of the dental hygienists is equally high. They each endeavor to exercise the utmost care and attention to the cleaning and examination of the teeth. I have been with this practice for 25 years and can recommend them highly.

I’ve been a patient with this dental practice for over 20 years. The staff is committed to patients and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. You immediately know when you walk in that the people get along and work as a team. It’s also apparent from the changes that they’ve made over the years that they keep up with developments in the field. Furthermore, they educate rather than nag when I’m lazy about flossing or have other issues. They’ve given me tips to make home dental care easier, which has made me take better care of my teeth, which ultimately has meant less costly dental visits. I’ll also add that their protocols for Covid-19 protection are great. I miss seeing everyone’s smiles, but they were all masked and gloved and took care to protect both me and their team.

New protocols, questions and setup all gave me confidence that there was more risk to them than to me, and I did not feel any risk. And the people at Smile Charlotte are always, caring and nice. This office is all about their customer! They are closely following all Covid protocols, which made me feel safe while having my teeth cleaned. I’m a gagger and used to dread every dentist visit. Since changing to this group, I no longer dread it. They make everything easier! They talk you through their procedures and use the most up to date technology. My son has a severe sensory issue and used to need laughing gas to have his teeth cleaned. Thanks to Brian, one of their great dental hygienist, he no longer requires it. Brian suggested trying it without it, and kept him calm and comfortable. Their entire staff is so patient and kind. Its a great environment.

Best dental experience ever. Dr. Menaker and his exceedingly friendly, knowledgeable and most importantly, professional medical staff have tooth and gum care down to an art. They also have a machine that captures a 3D rendering of your teeth! They can then rotate the image in any direction to pin-point specific trouble spots or areas of concern. Very cool. I would highly recommend visiting this practice.

I was able to get my crown replaced in one visit. They use a machine that makes the crown on site. No need for two visits. Crown fit perfectly. Prices are reasonable.
