The staff and doctors here are always so friendly. For every procedure they make sure they walk you through what’s happening as well as the pricing. These are also the best cleanings I’ve gotten anywhere! The dental hygienist is so gentle yet effective. My boyfriend and I both go to this office and we’re so happy with them. In terms of covid they screen all patients with a symptoms screening and then temperature and heart rate monitor. They also do a good job of spreading patients out – during covid I haven’t been in the office with more than 1 other patient.

I’ve been going to this place for the past three years and today was my last appointment. They’ve been my favorite dentists by far and I will miss them when I move. The office is clean and beautifully decorated. They are very responsive to online appointment requests and will email you to confirm and text you a reminder too. While they usually run on time, they were about half an hour behind today. I was told their hygienist wasn’t feeling well and the dentist was doing all the cleaning himself. The exams are quite painless and gentle. You get a cute little toothbrush kit at the end. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

I had my first visit today 9/26/12. I chose this dentist, because it was/is so convienent for me. When I first walked in, I was immediately blown away by the warm/professional greeting from the receptionist, x-ray technician, dentist, and dental hygienist. They were all very friendly and professional. One thing I look for when I visit any dentist or doctor’s office is the cleanliness of it. I give them 20 stars! They were gentle, very caring and extrememly understanding to my hectic schedule. I had a deep cleaning and will need to go back for extractions and fill-ins. To show just how much I enjoyed, yes.. Enjoyed my experience with this office, I immediately called friends/family that are interested in finding a new dentist to tell them about my encounter. I have been to Smile Designer for several different items. My first experience was with a tooth that was in need of a crown. I had an early evening appointment that was just to prep my tooth for a crown. I was in a lot of pain prior to the appointment and as work got underway it became apparent that a root canal was going to be a must. I assumed that I would have to make another appointment and come back. To my surprise the dentist offered to stay and take care of everything right away. The dentist, assistant and receptionist all stayed until almost 10 PM so that I wouldn’t have to go home in pain. I was so appreciative! They were all so nice about it and never made me feel that I was inconveniencing them. I haven’t had any pain or trouble with the new crown. All of the other standard work I have had done (cleaning, fillings etc) have been great too.

I love this dental office. I came here for roughly a year after they were giving out business cards by the Rosslyn metro during one of the Rosslyn BID events. I went here for my regular cleanings as well as for some rough fillings that had to be done. I also had a free orthodontic consultation done, where the doctor was efficient and clear at explaining how messed up my teeth were, and what work needed to be done. The doctors and techs were very professional, friendly, and welcoming. They always stopped to make sure I understood the forms and documents, and I never felt rushed. It was also a plus that it was close to my work and residence, so I could go in for quick appointments during my lunch break. I definitely recommend this office!

Pretty good experience here. Came in a couple of weeks ago for a cleanup and checkup. The cleanup went relatively smoothly, I waited about 5 mins, filled out my forms and was on the chair. Cleaning was quick, efficient, and pretty gentle. She informed me I wasn’t flossing correctly, and showed me how. She also recommended a new toothpaste for my sensitive teeth and I have to say, I have already started to feel the difference already. Overall, great experience, comfortable and upscale environment.

The office managers, hygienists, and dentists are wonderful and provide great care to their patients. When I needed some major dental work last year, they were thoughtful about making sure I knew everything about the procedure and understood exactly how much money I’d be charged out of pocket after applying my insurance. Additionally, their practice is very modern and they seem to use the latest procedures and equipment so I always feel comfortable. They communicated with my insurance company before I set up my consultation, and the entire process was a breeze. At my initial consultation, they performed a cleaning and advised me on additional work I had to complete. I had a wisdom tooth removed and fillings replaced. They walked me through the bill, and set up my appointment for the next week. The dentist who performed my procedure was very kind and helpful, and explained what she was doing as she moved along. Amazing service! First off, they took me in with a 2 day notice to do a full cleaning, exam, and filling assessment. Secondly, Olivia, the receptionist was extremely friendly and explained the entire ins and outs of the insurance payment, as well as what would happen throughout the visit– I’ve never once received that at any doctor’s office anywhere.
