My sister has gone to Smiles on Sandy for at least thirty years and referred me to Dr. Daby for a consultation on possibly a full set of upper dentures. Every dentist that I have gone too has treated me in a sub-human way because, unfortunately I was not blessed with the greatest of teeth, and was treated as if I didn’t care about them so they didn’t care what they did to them. This is THE place to go to be treated with kindness, compassion, non- judgment and complete professionalism. Dr. Daby did not do what every other Dentist has done to me like just saying “your teeth and gums are beyond repair so when you are ready I’ll pull them all out for you when you get dentures.” Instead, he did a through exam and found teeth that could stay and recommended a partial. All the preparation before getting the actual partial was completely painless and all of his staff were so kind and considerate. Not “condescendingly kind,” but “truly” kind. When the day came for the actual “pulling” of my teeth (I only lost six!) I was very nervous and anxious. My sister came with me to hold my hand and support me through it and it went very well, after it was all finished and I saw myself in the mirror it made me cry. All of my worst fears were for not and I am SO happy with the results. Thank you Dr. Daby and all the staff at Smiles on Sandy I am grinning from ear to ear again!

I was traveling to Portland to visit relatives when thru an accident one of my front teeth was broken off. The relative suggested that I see the dentists here. The Dr. was very understanding and got me into their schedule right away. The tooth was repaired so well you could not tell it had been broken. I work in a health field and was leary of going to an unknown Dentist. This office is proffesional all the way. They take the extra time to ensure things are done right and explain everything along the way, no surprises.

Our family has been seeing Dr Daby and the awesome ladies at Smiles on Sandy for several years. Dr Daby is great with kids (and my husband who is afraid of the dentist.) He is calm and relaxed. He seems to truly care about the comfort of his patients. Our daughter had 2 cavities filled last summer. Dr. Daby and Cameo took such good care of her I don’t think she would mind having another cavity. She has no idea that anyone would be afraid of the dentist since she has never had a reason to be.  Dr. Daby takes time to listen to and answer my endless questions about my kiddo’s baby teeth and works hard to get my husband the dental work he needs but is nervous about.  The hygienists are fantastic. My daughter is in love with Jeri. She makes visiting the dentist a treat! She also knows how to really talk to kids. We love the receptionist too. She remembers us every time we visit and always says something sweet about our kids. We have an easy time scheduling appointments and getting questions answered.  We highly recommend Smiles on Sandy!

Going to the dentist was never so easy or painless, in more ways than one.  I really appreciate the relaxed, friendly staff and docs, the simplicity of scheduling and payment/insurance billing, no procedures I don’t need and the gentle touch of Gerri, who does such a great job cleaning my teeth.  The newly remodeled office is great!  Modern and comfortable.  Thankfully the Drs. Daby are much younger than I am so I shouldn’t have to ever find a new dentist!

I have been going to Dr. Daby, Smiles on Sandy for many years before I got another dental care clinic from my insurance. This year I had to undergo dental implants for my three front teeth (cycling accident) and I went back to Dr. Daby for this. No one wants to go through such an ordeal but Dr. Daby and his staff made this experience more tolerable and pleasant in all ways possible. Dr. Daby is highly skilled in medical dentistry but he is also a perfectionist and artist when it comes to the cosmetic side of dentistry (two qualities you want in your dentist when it is your front teeth!). Olivia made all the financial and scheduling aspects go smoothly, she was patient and kind and always answered my multitude of questions. The dental technicians, Mallory and Karma are kind, compassionate and very skilled. They always held my hand and distracted me while Dr. Daby was giving the anesthesia (I swear I did not feel a thing). And while dental implants are an ordeal to complete through, I never had trouble getting a follow up appointments that worked well with my busy schedule. Now I have my pretty smile back and I am so happy I went to Smiles on Sandy!

I have had a great experience at Smiles on Sandy.  Dr. Daby and his staff take the time to answer my questions and help me understand different treatment options to make an educated decision about my treatment.  And the friendly atmosphere helps me stay comfortable and relaxed when I’m having work done.  I would recommend them to anyone looking for a dentist.

The dentist may not be your favorite place to go, but the staff and Dr’s at Smiles On Sandy make it such a pleasant (yes I said pleasant) experience. I have been a patient there for about 3 years now, and I will be for many years to come. From the front office staff, to the dental assistants/hygienists, you are in good hands. Everyone cares about your experience, and they go above and beyond. I needed to have a front bridge placed due to a childhood injury, not something I was looking forward to. They were able to rush my bridge order so I could have it put in prior to a vacation, and the Dr got everything in place the day before I left. Superb customer experience. If you are shopping for a dentist, look no further! Did I mention that their hygienist/cleaning chairs massage you while you are getting a cleaning? Amazing

Not many people like going to the dentist. But I’ve been with Smiles for at least 5 years, and couldn’t be happier. Had my teeth cleaned by Brittany today and was one of the best experiences Ive had with a teeth cleaning – kind, respectful, welcoming, knowledgeable, and simply made sure I was comfortable throughout the process. The new office is very clean and professional, and the Dr Daby brothers have done a superior job building their practice. Highly recommend.

This was hands down the best cleaning I have ever had. First off I love the relaxing low light and beautiful picture lights to look at while I’m laying back. No one loves staring at a non-descript ceiling but we’ve all been there, this was a wonderful change that helped distract me. Also: MASSAGE CHAIR. A genius addition, complete with a leg pillow! My hygienist was friendly, efficient, and wonderfully speedy, with my appointment taking well under an hour. I also found out that I had to have some filings and the staff were great about reassuring me and explaining the different costs and kinds of fillings. It’s a big deal for me to feel that I am being dealt with clearly and honestly. I definitely felt that with the Smiles on Sandy staff and will be going back regularly.
