I recently visited New York to attend my son’s graduation, and on my second evening there my front tooth broke off and fell out!  I was mortified to think of spending my week there with no front tooth, meeting my son’s friends and mentors..  I was 9 hours from home and my own dentist and needed to find emergency medical care–on a weekend no less.   Dr. Messiah came to my rescue.  I called and he got back to me immediately, went out of his way to make me feel relaxed, and saw me right away.  My tooth was restored and my week in NY went on as planned.  Dr. Messiah is wonderful, he is a talented dentist and has a great “bedside’ manner.  I highly recommend him.  Also, his entire staff is a lovely group of people, helpful, capable, and kind.   Thank you, all!!  Nancy

UNBELIEVABLE! They were and continue to be amazing. They are all about patient education and comprehensive care. I’ve never met a dentist or practice in general who has been so precise, accurate, and caring. The environment is family oriented. All staff have been friendly, welcoming, caring, and authentic. I’ve interacted with the secretary, dental assistant, hygienist, and Shaun himself. I have even had work done by a sub dentist while Dr. Massiah was out of town, and he was just as meticulous and friendly. I have recommended two of my friends and they also love Shaun Messiah and his associates/practice. We have all learned so much from this practice and have received the tools usable for a lifetime. I have spoken to so many others about this practice and I hope everyone takes their oral hygiene serious enough to experience them because they are even better in person.

They were extremely friendly and in no rush. they gave me all the attention I needed and answered every question I had. I am getting a second opinion because their prognosis was serious and the cost of work will be several thousand out of pocket. That said, they are the easiest going dentists I have ever been to.

After horrible dental experiences, I was referred to Dr Massiah and the Smiles team by my endodontist. Every experience since has been nothing short of positive. Not only are they extremely knowledgeable, but everyone at the practice is welcoming, kind, and patient. They also take their time to ensure I’m comfortable during every experience – whether a routine cleaning or post root canal visit. Although no one particular wants to go to the dentist, Dr Massiah and his team make it a bit more of an enjoyable experience!

Great Dentist visit again. I have been a patient of Dr. Massiah for a couple years. After my braces came off he performed a dental implant with no pain. I was happy to not have that missing tooth. I normally get my cleaning every three months. Dr. Massiah and the Dental Hygienist Soeurette takes great care of me. I will be back in three months.

I’ve been a patient of Dr Massiah for many years now. He and his staff are the best in practice. I had major work done on my smile about 2 years ago. He and his team walked me through the process step by step and made it all worth it. My smile has been enhanced in a way that I could not have imagined. The work still looks brand new. I get complimented on my smile all of the time. Thanks Dr Shaun and staff for your continuous professionalism and great skills. I am so happy.

After being away more than 5 years from the dentist, I dreaded the thought of coming back… 5 years produced 5 cavities and gum disease… go to the dentist people! The kind staff, the thorough cleaning, the honest assessment, and the practical advice made my return more than bearable. They have multiple payment options and a great reminder system in case your fears convince you not to go. One small critique but not worth a whole start would be to offer the play by play as your scrapping away at my tartar, digging out my cavity, and then doing whatever you’re doing to fix my teeth… small thing… I guess I like commentary with such events. I didn’t go to the Dentist for more than a decade. Once I graduated college and was on my own insurance instead of my parent’s, I just put it off because I hated going. I have very sensitive gums and hated the scraping, and the worst gag-reflex ever so that makes a oral exam painful for me and for the dentist/hygienist. But Dr. Massiah is so patient with me and let’s me go slowly, taking care of just one thing at a time. But the BEST part of going to this office (no offense, Dr. M) is SOURETTE, the most amazing dental hygienist in the entire world. She is kind and gentle, patient and thorough. She’s actually made me CARE about my teeth again. I floss because of her! I go to check-ups because of her!

If you are looking for a dentist office where the staff is not only very friendly, but also strangely attractive and where the dentist is confidant, efficient, and funny (hey humor is important when you’re at the dentist!) then Dr. Massiah’s office is the place to go to.  I have had the best experiences while trusting my teeth to Dr. Massiah and his staff for over the past year and a half. Seriously, everyone has been so kind and positive, they are experts in their field.  More imporantly, they are honest re any options for procedures and pricing which is so refreshing.  I know I am in the best hands at Dr. Massiah’s office. Dr. Massiah and his whole practice are so amazing! His hygienist Sourette is an angel, she explains everything that she’s doing and she’s thorough!
