Smiley Dental is first rate all around! The dentistry is top notch, the dentist’s are caring, the staff is friendly, and the entire office is warm and welcoming. They have taken care of my family over the last 15 years providing teeth cleanings, fillings, wisdom teeth extraction, emergency extraction, root canal, chip repair. Regardless of the service it’s always a positive experience! They’re also very accommodating. I chipped my tooth at lunch and they had me in as a standby at 1pm and back at work by 1:30!

Wow, where do I begin. You’d be hard pressed to find a better dental office. One of the most important things to me is that the staff from the dentist to the dental hygienist to the office staff have more than just a surface knowledge of what they’re doing. The dentist will never do unnecessary dental work just to make money or just to please you when the services are not medically necessary. And whatever they do it’ll be done right the first time without the pain that you typically experience from a lot of other dentist. The dental hygienist are very skilled and the best hygienist that I’ve ever seen. I’m 61 years old so I’ve been to quite a few dentist for preventative care and dental services. When you get your teeth cleaned and you have areas that require more effort to get cleaned, they’ll take the additional time to get them clean until the plague is removed without making you feel like your about to jump out of your skin because someone is using a jack-hammer instead of a dental instrument. Gentle but thorough. There’s never a long wait and the clerical staff are knowledgeable and always willing to answer whatever you ask them, patient and kind. If you think that I’m blowing smoke try it for yourself and you be the judge. If you do you’ll never go anywhere else.

My family and I have been going to Dr Smiley for years and years and years. I think Dr. Smiley and all of his staff are great 🙂 One thing I really appreciate is that I’ve never had more than a 5 minute wait to get in to see him. They’re good. I’ve had many cleanings, cavities filled, crowns, porcelain veniers, etc. No complaints. One comment though – on the final fitting of your crown I would strongly recommend you let them know that you want to be numbed. I didn’t do that one time and it was horrible – a root must have been exposed and I was miserable. As long as you ask for the numbing, they will do it. NOTE: I used to go to a well known dentist and it was AWFUL – he always made me wait for long periods of time (1/2 – 1 hour) and I wasn’t comfortable with the quality he provided. I absolutely can recommend Dr. Smiley and his team!

My family and I’ve been patients of Dr. Smiley’s and his wonderful dental team in Dublin, Ohio since before 2000. Dr. Smiley and his staff treat us very well and have provided excellent dental care through the years. I trust Dr. Smiley’s dental crew to always provide a safe and stress free environment whether it’s for a relatively simple teeth cleaning exercise or for the more complex procedures we’ve received through the years. After going through a bout of cancer in 2000, Dr. Smiley and his staff never fail to ask about my health beyond what’s occurring with my smile. Last but not least, it’s always nice when Dr. Smiley’s staff recognize and acknowledge me by name whenever I visit their office as this doesn’t always occur with other doctor’s offices I’ve visited since living in Central Ohio. Kinda like the old TV show Cheers but without Norm and cold drafts. Regardless, everyone at Dr. Smiley’s knows your name!

The staff was oh so wonderful and really made it a pleasant experience! They really went above and beyond. Just brought my 2 daughters aged 3&4 and this office was better with my kids then the previous pediatric dentist I went to. Smiley Dental Group has been taking care of all my family for 28 yrs. U cannot find better dental care anywhere. (Poetry not intended) All the employees go out of their way to make u feel welcome and comfortable. My 9 and 3 yr old grandchildren argue over who likes Sam Smiley the best. They brag about how many animals he takes care of at the Columbus Zoo. I have had some unusual health circumstances involving my teeth. I get the top level of care and if I need a referral for specialized dentistry, they will refer me to someone very good, each and every time. The other dentists in this group are exceptional too. I can’t recommend this office more! I had searched and searched for a dentist for a few days. I had a tooth that needed pulled, that was causing severe pain. When inquiring with other places they weren’t available for a same day appointment, or seemed “sketchy.” I put in an email request for an appointment at 5am and by 6:30am before their office even opened I was contacted regarding an appointment that same morning. When walking into the office, the lobby is very clean and calming. The staff immediately acknowledges you, and begins to assist you. I showed up 30 minutes early for my appointment and sat in the lobby for maybe 5 minutes before I was called back. My dental technician and the dentist were very friendly, and help ease any anxiety I had about the appointment. I was accessed, and quickly referred to an oral surgeon 10 minutes away. They reassured me what the process would be, and made sure to answer any and all questions I had. When leaving the staff was so friendly and thanked me for showing up early and completing all my paperwork. This office greatly changed the way I viewed going to the dentist. Couldn’t say enough about the experience.

I found Dr Smiley by calling an oral surgeons office and of course they were not allowed to refer me to a dentist. So I ask them to poll the room, ask everyone who their dentist was, and out of 6 people at the front desk 5 said “Dr Smiley! “. That was 20 years ago and I have been with them ever since. First appointment with Smiley dental was nervous because I moved to the area about 3 years ago but have been going to the same dentist I always have since I was a kid which I would drive an hour and a half to go to. Decided it was time to switch it up and give someone new a chance and I don’t regret it at all Lisa my hygienist was AMAZING made me feel as if I’ve been coming here for my whole life. Like many of you I am terrified of the dentist. Like petrified! They immediately offered me nitrous before working on my teeth and I am forever grateful. All of the workers there are on point and so kind. I get most nervous about shots before dental work and I did not feel a thing. They also really listen to your concerns; I have a gap in my front teeth I would like to be smaller and they scheduled the appointment with an Endontist during my appointment for the next day. Trust me with this recommendation–I HATE going to the dentist. So it means a lot when I say that going here is about as pleasant as a trip to the dentist can ever be. The office is nice, the magazine selection is good, the staff are super friendly. The waits are never long. The hygienists are very kind (Lisa is hands-down the best hygienist I’ve ever had.) I see Dr. Holowicki who, again, is great- very low-key and puts you at ease. I’ve never met Dr Smiley but he waves at me like we know each other. Whoever does the hiring there knows what they are doing. They also have a lab on site. I’ve been to dentists in the past who were scolding, maybe to inspire me to come more often but instead they made me not want to go to the dentist. No one is like that here. They told me I had pretty teeth. I don’t think that’s really true, but I’ll take it! Seriously, you can’t go wrong here

I bit into an old Starburst and a veneer came off. My dentist was out of town and I had a big hole in my smile and needed to get it fixed right away. My dentist’s office referred me to the Smiley Dental Group. They were able to get me in right away even though I wasn’t even a patient. The receptionists were friendly and the office was very nice. Dr. Smiley and his staff were able to fix my veneer with no problems. I didn’t hardly even feel when he was giving me the shot to numb my mouth. He took his time and made sure it was just right before I left. He even followed up with a phone call the next day to make sure everything was ok. I would highly recommend!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Smiley for nearly 30 years. I never remember waiting more than 5-10 minutes. In fact, they are usually waiting and ready to take me in as soon as I arrive. The staff is ALWAYS friendly, courteous and professional. Everyone always calls me by name and makes me feel right at home. As far as comfort? I’m in this office 4-6 times a year for cleanings and check-ups for myself and my family. Here are the things I noticed right away: Great attitudes. Front desk admin folks and the hygienists all seem to be happy to be at work. Everyone is friendly, everyone has a sense of humor. Kid Friendly. Even my 3-year-old terrorist’s nonsense was borne with grace. My 6-year-old loves going to the dentist. Affable Dentists. I’ve spent time with Dr. Smiley and Dr. Holowicki and they are both great to be around- it’s obvious that great chairside manner is an important part of what happens here. Not Drill Happy- some dentists will find extensive work to do in your mouth every time you show up whether you need it or not. Not here. All this adds up to a great place to get your chompers looked after. It’s an exceedingly well-run business. Thanks for reading!
