I chipped a filling the night before, ended up being the filling and part of the tooth. And they were willing to see me the next day. It was a Thursday and all the dentist normally Leave early, right after lunch, they had one that was willing to stay and see me and put a crown on got there about 12:45 was out of there by 2:30. Great people and had a great time. Would highly recommend it definitely worth the drive.

I had a little problem of bleeding gums pop up and I called & got worked in that morning! Protocols for COVID were followed precisely, and I felt comfortable the whole time. Got a quick x-ray & they determined that I need to be scheduled for a deep cleaning….as expected. I got a nice injection of antibiotics & it has solved the pain problem, and I’m holding steady until my next appointment. Couldn’t ask for a nicer staff, friendlier doctor, or more pleasant experience for a dental issue!

The staff at Southern Dental is amazing! They always go above and beyond to accommodate their patients! So sweet and friendly! I highly recommend them! My son who is 9 loves them. He used to go to a pediatric dentist office and prefers to use the “big kid” dentist and always looks forward to his visit. I will always drive the hour for these fabulous people!

Dr. Drayton Smith is the best Dentist I have ever known. I am in my 70’s and have been to several dentists and clinics in my lifetime. Several years ago, I had given up finding a Dentist I could trust but Dr. Smith did the research to find out what to do to solve my problems with a bad bridge and bone loss. Dr. Smith not only solved my problems but made my teeth look great, gums great, pain gone, and did it gently, efficiently and was very reasonable. Southern Dental took my Insurance and the staff treat me with kindness and respect as well as keep me in great shape. We now live primarily in Naples Florida and I still go out of my way to see him. I will never go to another Dentist ever!

Dr Drayton and staff are always so friendly to me. It feels more like going to visit friends than a dentist visit. I hadn’t been to a dentist in over 8 years prior to my first appointment at Southern. Needless to say my teeth were a wreck! 8 cavities and several crowns were needed. If it wasn’t for the pleasantness of the staff I don’t think I wouldnt have made it through. I’ve been with Southern 6 years now and couldn’t imagine going anywhere else.

I have always dreaded going to the dentist my whole life. But once I started seeing Dr. Drayton Smith, that changed. My entire family now goes to Drayton and we all love him and his wonderful staff. Drayton is so friendly and outgoing and puts you at ease. I feel like he takes a conservative approach as to what needs to be done if you have issues and isn’t pushing things on you just to make a buck. My previous dentist ‘found’ things that ‘needed’ to be fixed every time I walked through the door so I very much appreciate Drayton’s honest approach to dental care and I totally trust his opinion. I even convinced an extreme dental-phobic friend of mine to see Drayton and she really likes him as well. I highly recommend Drayton and his staff. Top notch office.

Dr. Drayton and all of the staff at southern dental are nothing short of amazing. Even when I come in for a 4 or 6 month teeth cleaning they all remember the last thing we talked about when I was in there last, Dr Drayton also completely fixed my smile with Lumineers after a orthodontist messed up my teeth while taking my braces off. My entire family goes to see Dr. Drayton and I wouldn’t ever think of going to anyone else when it comes to anything dental!

I came to Dr. Drayton Smith because I was so tired of going to dentists who suggested treatments and procedures I really didn’t need. For instance, I needed veneers on two front teeth and my last dentist told me it wasn’t possible to just install two – I would have to have six done. Six! When I came to Dr. Smith, he said it was crazy to make six veneers when you only needed two. He handled the two veneers and I have had them now for several years and they are great. Things such as this are why I will always use Dr. Smith as long as I need dental work.

Dr. Drayton Smith and his team are FABULOUS! They are extremely thorough, gentle and quick when it comes to cleanings. If you have any anxieties about having dental work done, you should go see Dr. Drayton Smith. He will make you feel extremely comfortable and talk to you as if you have been friends for years. They cater to your every need and give you some time if you need a break during a procedure. They don’t make you feel like you are a burden or some crazy person for having anxiety about dental work. Let’s face it- no one “loves” to go to the dentist. Since I started seeing Dr. Smith and his team, I really don’t mind going now.

I ALWAYS have a 5 star visit! From the front staff, back staff, and doctors they have always been very kind and caring. Dr. Drayton Smith is a super guy. Not only does he ask how I am doing, he asks how my family is doing and that means more to me than just being a patient. Drayton is serious when he needs to be, but is laid back and funny which is good for a patient like me who is always anxious and white-knuckled. Going to the doctor or the dentist is not on the top of my list. However, Drayton and his staff do their best to make sure you receive the finest dental care, with the least amount of discomfort. They treat you like you’re part of the family. I’d give Southern Dental a Five Star rating.
