Needed to have an emergency root canal. Every place that was “supposedly” open on Saturdays were not. After giving up I made one more call and Star Bright came through. They saw me without an appointment and even-though they closed at 3 pm and I came in at 1 pm, Dr. Nguyen still did my root canal! He was compassionate and thorough and his staff were all wonderful. What a life saver! I will definitely recommend him to anyone in the area looking for a great dentist!

I don’t normally write reviews but I have to write this one. Dr. Nguyen is an absolute perfectionist and more importantly he’ s ethical. My most recent experience had to do with excruciating jaw pain that I have never had before. Dr Nguyen diagnosed me with TMJ. Dr. Nguyen proceeded to tell me that his wife had the same thing and he had “a cure” I was still skeptical after reading about TMJ online and the pain I was having but Dr. Nguyen and his staff have never let me down. He talked to me about a FOSA (Mouthpiece) and said it would align my jaw back up. What do you know… No more pain!! Thank you Star Bright Dental for professionalism and expertise. I would put up this dental practice against any Beverly Hills Dentist hands down. Keep up the good work!!!

I have been going to Star Bright Dental for the pass year and a half. And believe me I’m not fond of going to any dentist. I needed to get work done… This dentist was close to my house so I went there, I was very nervous, He Took his time explaining everything that needed to be done and also let me ask him questions. He was 100% right. As he did the procedure he explained every little step to me and made me feel very comfortable. I ended up being very satisfied with the work that he did on my teeth and believe me it was a lot. I just recently had to go back for an emergency root canal, once again he explain everything he was doing While working on my tooth,everything went perfect!

I just had to take a few minutes to talk about my experience at Star Bright Dental. My kids have been patients here since they were little. Every visit seems to be an unemotional Carefree appointment, which is pretty rare with a child having to go to a dentist. Dr. Nguyen is amazing! He’s kind and gentle. He takes the time to talk you through what is happening and make sure you understand anything that needs to be done. His office staff is exactly the same. Everyone there seems to do their best to make sure your experience was great. There are several dentist in the area where I live but I still choose to drive 15 miles to Westminster to see Dr Nguyen.

Haven’t been to the dentist in a while but my friend recommended me to try this place out. My first impression was that it was a nice and clean office. The girl was very friendly and answered all my questions. I didn’t have an appointment but I was able to see the dentist in about 30 minutes. He was very professional and took the time to explain all of my options to me. I don’t remember any other dentist that I’ve been to doing this. I have to say I love this dental office. I had a tooth infection for the past 6 months and I kept letting it go because I knew it was going to be expensive no matter where I went because I do not have dental insurance. From the moment I walked into Star Bright Dental everyone made me feel very welcome. The doctor is amazing and he really knows his stuff. He uses the latest technology and really sits down and explain to you what he’s going to do and what your options are and how much everything is going to be in great detail. His assistants are amazing and the staff is amazing. They send you text messages to remind you of your appointments and he actually even answer the phone when the office is closed he has the calls forwarded to his personal phone. Do you know anyone that does that? That dental office is top-notch in my book and I highly recommend dr. Nguyen to everyone! He was very caring since the moment we met I had an infection that I had put off for too long and it turns out that the longer that I waited the more things needed to be done. He gave me the antibiotic and I had a tooth extraction done and he was very gentle and I was grateful for it. He also did a procedure called gum grafting which is a new technology now as opposed to the old crowning situation.. I’ve been to several dentist before in the past and I never really felt like they were explained to me what they were doing to me and I really like this office because the dentist really goes into detail with exactly what he’s going to do. I highly recommend this dentist you will not regret going there.

I will start off by saying that I’ve never written any reviews before. I also never went to the dentist regularly before this. I stumbled upon this office out of convenience. I’ve been driving by this office from and to work every day…Because of my new job interview coming up, I decided to have my teeth clean and have long desired to have my veneers done for my front teeth since I was never able to smile comfortably and have been holding back my full smiles because of my discolor/stain teeth…
I clearly expressed my concerns that if I was going to pay big money for cosmetic dentistry then I wanted PERFECT and NATURAL looking teeth.
I got my veneers not too long ago with Dr. Nguyen who listened to all my concerns and answers to all my questions. I have to say he has performed extraordinary work on my teeth, EXTRAORDINARY! People who have never met me have been complimenting my beautiful teeth, but those who know me are seriously in awe and compliment his work. Best of all I can feel and see it every single morning in front of the mirror before leaving to work, these beautiful teeth has helped me gaining so much confident in myself.

This is my second time coming back. Initially came to get teeth cleaned, but after x-rays the dentist was very thorough about explaining my teeth condition. He advised me to remove my wisdom teeth as soon as possible. After much deliberation, I decided to remove one of them. He knows I’m afraid of needles and was very gentle in making sure I’m completely numb and walk me through the process. My 6 month cleaning was due so I decided to come back. I still had questions about the remaining wisdom teeth and he was very patient to explain to me the process. He wasn’t pushy when I told him I have to hold off on the remaining teeth. Staffs were professional and friendly. The only thing I will have to say I didn’t like was the wait, but everything else was great! Will be coming back here again

I was recently in southern California visiting family, and before my plane even left the ground, I had a crown fall off. Not knowing the area, I took a shot in the dark and went to the closest dentist office (and Westminster has many!) It was a Friday evening, and Dr. Nguyen took me as a walk-in basically right at closing time. My repairs ended up being more than what was expected, but he and his staff stayed after closing time to finish the job. He also had a rush order put in at the lab for my replacement crown, and came into the office on Sunday to apply the new crown. He went above and beyond to take care of me, and I highly recommend him to anyone in the area!

I used to avoid going to the dentist because I had awful teeth and I felt embarrassed about them. Since I started going to Dr. Cuong Nguyen a few months ago I have never had an appointment that made me feel uncomfortable or embarrassed, and my teeth are unrecognizable now. My dentist did an incredible job of fixing everything that was wrong the first time I went in, and because I feel happy going for regular check-ups and hygienist appointments now, I haven’t had any problems since. The practice also sends reminders when appointments are due, and even though it’s usually very busy I’ve always been able to get an appointment at a convenient time.

I had my wisdom teeth removed here and my mom also got her implants done. Doctor Cuong and his whole team really went above and beyond on what they charged for, just to make sure we got nothing but the best. One of my wisdom teeth was a complicated case, it took the doctor a lot extra time to completely take it out. He literally had to remove it little by little and put me back and forth to the X-ray room to insure the whole process is going in the right direction. A lot extra work for him, but no extra charges for me. I do really appreciate the check up callings from the doctor himself about my healing process. Fantastic dentist office all-around! We are very fortunate to have Dr. Nguyen take care of our family (my two children, my husband and me) for the last 7 years. The staff was always courteous and kids friendly. When my 7 year old daughter had her first cavity, Dr. Nguyen took the time to explain to her the ‘kids’ way about cavity filling procedure and gave her the time to completely ready before he works on her cavity. He also took a lot of time to explain to us how to properly floss in order to prevent future cavity in children. To this day, she trusts him and asks for him whenever she encounters dental problem. A few months ago on a early Sunday afternoon, her loosed tooth was bleeding, we called Dr. Nguyen and he was very understanding and agreed to meet up with us later that afternoon and took care of her. I used to have root recessed issue and it was repaired by another dentist who told me that this is a very difficult task and may not last. Sure enough, the filling came off after about a year so I had Dr. Nguyen take a look at it. He was able to fix it properly. It has been 5 years and no problem at all. The cost is very reasonable for the service and when compares to all my past dentists. I recommend Dr. Nguyen to all my extended family and friends(…).
