Love this place! Very professional and caring people. Each staff member was more than helpful to me. Dr. Bates is amazing at what he does. I had several crowns and about 10 fillings that needed to be done; and he went above and beyond throughout the whole treatment. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone, you will get the treatment you need and be made as comfortable as you go through the procedure.

I have been a patient since 2014. After moving 30 minutes away I decided to continue my dental exams at this office. The staff is stable and we know each other. There is one dentist, Dr. Bates, who takes care of me ~ he is kind and has been careful when taking care of problems. I’ve had two hygienists over six years, it’s nice to know that there’s continuity in my care. I highly recommend this practice.

My coworker recommended Dr.Bates to me during an emergency. His office worked me in within a couple of hours and started treatment as soon as I got there. Dr. Bates is amazing. He truly cares about his patients, and is really gentle. His work is fantastic. He also doesn’t do that annoying thing where he asks you detailed questions while he’s working in your mouth. He just checks to make sure you’re doing okay, and lets you know what step of the process he’s in. I’m so glad I found him. I live in Bluffton now but I’ve made trips up just to go to him.

Awesome as always even tho I missed a couple of months! Great solutions on a possible issue, but a perfect solution for time being AND really affordable solutions for us & those who have limited insurance & income! I just moved here last month from Los Angeles, CA and had to find a dentist real quick. My sister and I drove around looking for a dentist and I saw his sign. We went in and meet a very friendly receptionist who made an appointment for me. When I went to my appointment, Dr. Bates and his staff made me feel comfortable. Dr. Bates and his staff are very friendly, kind and knowledgeable in everything they do. I have only been here a short time but I have already recommended him to several people. Myself, wife and children have been using Dr Bates for over 22 years now and we absolutely would recommend you use him! Many times we have had issues that arise out of the blue and every time when we have called to see if we can be worked into the schedule they are always willing to work with us and help. As a matter of fact, one of our children used to be terrified of having any work performed on his mouth when we lived several hours away from Charleston, but when we moved back to Charleston we immediately introduced him to Dr. Bates. From that point on he looks forward to visiting with Dr. Bates and the ladies in the office make him feel so comfortable. Everything from cleanings to cavities to root canals we have always been treated with respect and the work has been amazing!

We drove a long way to have our teeth cleaned. The hygienist, Fallon, and the assistant Carol were superb!! So very friendly and professional. We had a great visit and will be back again. This office is not in some strip mall but in a very beautiful building with all new equipment. We are glad we found them. Dr. Bates is a very kind professional dentist. Dr. Bates is honest and a dentist you can really trust. My previous dentist said that I had two cavities and needed a crown. I heard that Bates Dental could perform a crown all in a one day appointment, but after seeing Dr. Bates he told me that I didn’t need the crown replacement and I didn’t have the cavities either. It’s nice to find a dentist with integrity. I also love the technology and the ability to get your crown made in an all one day appointment with no temporary to deal with.

Dr Bates is amazing, patient, efficient and goes out of his way to accommodate me and my dental-office-anxiety. What a Warrior! The Front Desk Managers are very knowledgeable and kind, the DA’s are calming and there is no snooty-ism here! Prices are affordable as well, comparatively. Dr. Bates is an exceptionally skilled and caring dentist. I have been getting dental care from him for several years and have been completely satisfied with the whole experience every time. He has done fillings and crowns with perfection and and I have never experienced any discomfort at all during any procedure including the numbing shots. His assistants are well trained and skilled also whether they are cleaning, x-raying, making a temporary crown or any other dental assisting. Today he repaired my broken tooth that cracked at the gum line and was jagged. It all went great and I will get my permanent crown in two weeks. Lastly, I want to say that I am not easily satisfied and have very high expectations when I get any service health or otherwise. Dr.Bates and his staff exceeded all my expectations as usual and I can honestly say that my dental appointment today was a pleasant experience.

5 stars. Dr. Bates saw my 84 year old mother, who had not seen a dentist in 25 years, but needed clearance to have a hip replacement. He fit her into his schedule immediately, removing 4 broken teeth, and she returned the next week for a cleaning and filling. Everyone in the practice was kind and reassuring, and prices were more than fair. A fabulous experience.

My husband went in this morning with a bubble on his gum, turns out he needed a root canal. No problem Dr. Bates took care of the it right on the spot. First of all its a near miracle he went in without being drug or drugged. This is how much he trusts Dr. Bates and his team. Then tonight we are relaxing after dinner, and we get a call from the man himself Dr. Brady Bates checking in to see how he is doing. This is patient care at its best, that’s why we keep coming g back and referring others. Dr Steven Bates and his staff are all amazing. My family and I use our cleaning visits twice a year and the office atmosphere is so kind and gentle. We don’t have many cavities, but when we have the occasional one sneak in on us it is always a pleasure working with this team. Being new to Spokane and having a fairly new bridge break weeks after arriving and chipping a front tooth sent me into a panic. After asking my neighbors for a dental recommendation, it was Dr. Bates with raving compliments. From the initial call to their office to walking out the door with a repaired front tooth, a new and better bridge, it was the best dental experience I’ve had in my life. Dr. Bates actually called that night to make sure I was good, I have never had a dentist call personally to check on me. Dr Bates is absolutely fantastic. My 6 year old daughter had an accident on her bike and smashed her mouth. Within an hour we were in his office and 20 minutes after that her two baby teeth she misplaced were out and she never shed a tear! Dr. Bates was so kind, knowledgeable and professional. HIGHLY recommend. And I’m picky.
