Wow, only one review? This place is fantastic. I’ve never really had a great dentist in all the places I’ve gone to over the years but I’ve finally found the place. Dr. Servais and Dr. Rattner are wonderful dentists and have done several cavities, a root canal and crown for me in the last half a year or so. No real pain for any of it, everything done well and also relatively quickly and everyone friendly and professional. The dental assistants and receptionists are also lovely. Overall, a great experience every time and I’ve been many times now.

I have been a patient of Dr. Steven Rattner for over 20 years. Dr. Rattner has always been a caring, thorough, and knowledgeable dentist with tremendous experience in his field from traditional dentistry to prosthodontics. He will spend a great deal of time answering my questions and explaining insurance concerns, always trying to defend to my insurance company the need for a particular procedure. His office’s other dentists, hygienists, and office staff are likewise caring and thorough and knowledgeable, and consistently helpful to me. I would highly recommend Dr. Rattner’s dental offices, both in conveniently accessible College Park and Gaithersburg, Maryland.

Dr. Rattner is amazing! The NEW doctor Dr. Servais is gentle and kind. She thoroughly explained my treatment plan and accepts my dental insurance. Plenty of free parking and easy to find. Staff are friendly and professional. I would highly recommend Dr. Servais. You wont regret it!

Everyone I dealt with was very patient and understanding. They took time to explain what they were going to do and the work I needed resulting from scans done that day. I like the fact that all my work can be done in one office and I don’t have to go from practice to practice to get things done. Great communication and follow up.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Rattner for many years now.  I went for him for the invisalign and now general cleaning.  My experience has been great since day one.  All of the doctors and staff are friendly.  I had no issues with appts or billings.  I moved into DC in 2006 and yet I can’t get myself to switch to a dental office in DC.  It’s been such a great experience that I don’t mind driving to College Park for my dental needs.  I convinced my husband to start going to Dr. Rattner as well and he’s greatful for the wonderful services provided to him.

Very pleased – for something like 8 years – with Dr. Rattner’s dental work as well as the other dentists at the Gaithersburg location. The dental work has been only when needed, always good results, excellent pain management. Very pleased with the hygienist named Keila who is very caring, effective, informative. Billing has been easy enough to understand – Rattner’s office has helped me to understand the billing- even though insurance companies are complicated. I am a hearing person; this dental practice is very good with hearing-impaired clients, but they are also good communicators with me, a hearing person. Also note that the implant which Dr. Rattner did was perfect all the way. Two extractions were perfect. A number of crowns all have worked well.

I’ve been a patient of Steven Rattners, DDS for more than a decade and I’ve received excellent service. The staff are client focused and very personable. A shout out to Margaret whose been my hygeniest more years than I can remember. She’s professional, precise, and excudes personality. The fact that they offer an in-house dental plan is a great alternative to taking out separate insurance coverage. I would highly recommend Steven Rattner, DDS for your next dental visit.

Coming from someone who feared the dentist, no one made me feel more comfortable than Dr. Rattner and his staff. They accommodate my time concerns, treat me like family, and most importantly help me stay on a dental plan that keeps me healthy and happy. Dr Rattner filled my cavities and shaped my teeth back to beauty! I will be forever grateful for the help they have given me!

I went here billions of years ago in the 1990s.  I liked the idea of having someone I could communicate with through sign language, even if there were implements my mouth.  (Dr. Rattner both speaks and signs.) I did not give him up, did not switch dentists, even when I moved away to Westminster.  He extracted my wisdom teeth, one at a time, so I could safely drive all the way home.

Had my first visit today, and I am very impressed with the level of care received by Dr. Rattler and staff. My initial contact began with a phone call providing superb customer service working with me to squeeze me in at the last minute (before a weekend). This was much appreciated, especially as a new patient. I had called three other dental practices, and all the others couldn’t see me until Monday; which would be several days later. The appointment process and paperwork was effortless, and I was able to complete the new patient paperwork online, making check in a breeze. I was then welcomed by the best dental hygienist ever, the warm welcome made me feel comfortable. I felt like she was my ally during the whole procedure checking each step to make sure I understood, was comfortable and ready for what would come next. Dr. Rattler had a jam packed schedule today, but he made me feel like I was the only patient, sitting down and talking with me while explaining each step of the process. I did not feel hurried or pressured at all. The office itself is well designed with individualized TVs and big glass windows to keep the patient visually engaged. I saw several different products and services utilized that were cutting edge and high tech, things I had not seen at my previous dentist. This office provides the newest technology paired with good old fashioned customer service and friendliness. It really was the best experience going to the dentist could be. Thank you!

Very good When Dr. Rattner used sand stick trying to separate tight teeth between, he asked me if he was going too rough on me? My answer is no since I happen to have high pain tolerance. No problem. But I was glad those teeth got separated so that I can continue flossing from now on. Thank you.

Everyone there is so friendly from the dentists to the hygenists to the assistants. I like the TVs above each chair…it lets your brain focus on something else besides all the craziness going on in your mouth. The high-tech equipment like the digital xrays, 3D imaging, and conebeam scanner make the process much faster, more accurate, and less painful.

I needed some last minute work done on a broken filling and luckily was able to get an appointment with Dr Rattner. When I arrived everyone was kind and patient—from the staff to the doctor himself. I wasn’t sure about how bad my tooth was, but Dr. Rattner does an amazing job of keeping you informed about what’s happening along the way. He also is clearly very good at what he does, as my procedure couldn’t have gone any smoother/quicker. They also have great precautions with COVID which i appreciated.
