I’ve been a patient of stunning smiles for a few years now I have Invisalign, have seen great results however I do still suffer from severe anxiety when it comes to the dentist and they always accommodate me! Rachel my hygienist has always been kind and patient and today I was with Katie for some adjustments with my Invisalign attachments removing and adding them and I was pretty nervous about it and she just went above and beyond for me!! extra numbing and listening to me and overly communicative!! I greatly appreciated her kindness and patience with me I know I can be difficult. Best dentist office in Vegas it’s difficult to find.

For many years of my adult life, I’ve had massive debilitating headaches. I did tons of testing (CT Scan, etc) with multiple doctors, but it was Dr. Racanelli and team who discovered the culprit. I grind (very hard and very often) my teeth together… so much so that my teeth were caving inward, and the teeth themselves were ground down and vertically splitting. I did a regiment of Invisalign to get the teeth back into the correct position. Then, Dr. Racanelli created a QuickSplint to reduce the amount of grinding. (I was grinding straight through my trays). My world changed in an instant. My grinding stopped. My headaches went away. As the final part of my tooth regiment, I had my top front 6 teeth updated with veneers. At first, I was afraid that I’d look like I had fake teeth. They don’t look fake at all. They blend right in with my natural teeth, and I couldn’t be happier. He also updated my QuickSplint to go over my Vivera retainers so that I can keep the headaches away, and protect my teeth for many years. My smile is better. My headaches are gone. Dr. Racanelli and his team are so friendly, professional, and I am forever thankful.

Dr. Racanelli and his staff are professional and I appreciate their excellent work. They use advanced technologies and provide great oral care. I have a partial crown from Dr. Racanelli that he fitted and placed the same day in the office. He did a scan of my tooth once it was prepped and created a custom fit partial that slipped on like a glove. I’ve had a “deep cleaning” done here as well. That’s a fancy name for root scaling and plaining. Let me tell you, they made it as painless as possible. Dr. Racanelli is always buying new equipment and staying cutting edge. The deep cleaning they do is all laser! There is this thin little tool that looks like a fiber optic cable about as thin as a needle with a glowing end. They run that along your gums where your tooth connects and it targets all the necrotic tissue. Seals up your gums right to your tooth so those probe pockets are all 1, 2, or 3. Worked like a charm. The staff here is friendly. The front desk bills correctly. I’ve had good experiences here year after year. They will give you a lot of options for your overall mouth health. They will talk to you about Invisalign every visit – align your teeth properly and then retain them. If you decline, they are not pushy. If you’re looking for a good dentist, Stunning Smiles is the place to go.

The staff was very friendly and my hygienist Robin was terrific! She made me comfortable and was very thorough and gentle. I appreciated the explanation of the process and information on my dental health. Dr. Racanelli was very personable and took the time to explain what he felt was best for me. My girlfriend introduced me to Dr. Racanelli’s practice 3 years ago and since then, every experience in his office has been better than the previous visit. The Doctor, his amazing staff, his beautiful office and the overall feeling of tranquility while sitting in the chair keeps me going back there! The emergency that brought me to his practice yesterday was handled in the most professional, courteous and expeditious manner that I have ever experienced in going to a dentist. Dr. Racanelli went above and beyond to fix an immediate issue that I had with a crown that had fallen out which was done years ago by an old dentist. I feared that my ability to eat normally would be hindered for weeks maybe even months but the doctor destroyed any fears that I had by easily taking care of my issue immediately, painlessly and with a smile. His assistant Alex was also extremely professional and very friendly while performing some very detailed work that was even cutting into their lunch hour! – And checking in and out was a breeze with Rachael and Summer in command at the front desk. I recently picked up my invisalign retainers and I am thrilled with the results! My smile is perfect. I only needed a little adjustment, my teeth weren’t that crooked, but I can see a huge improvement in my smile, especially in pictures. I come in every six months for cleanings and had some fillings taken care of at my last appt and felt nothing! Dr. Racanelli is wonderful and gives painless injections. THEE BEST STAFF! I normally dread going to the dentist! I needed to visit the dentist asap because my wisdom teeth need to be extracted, and I actually found stunning smiles from the list of dentist in my area, given to me by my insurance provider. I am VERY glad I found this place! Amazing customer service from the moment I called to book my appointment. They got me in as soon as possible! When I showed up for my appointment, my first thought was that the office was beautiful and the whole staff was very helpful and friendly. They Dr. R came highly recommended from the G4 dental office. I’m new to the area and wanted to make sure my daughters would get the best dental care. Julia the receptionist and the front staff are amazing. They take your temperature as soon as you walk I was there they were constantly wiping down the door handles and areas. That put me at ease. I don’t give this 5 star review lightly. First of all if you have anxiety about going to the dentist then you should go see Dr. Racaneli and his staff. All of them are extremely compassionate. I am incredibly impressed with how professional and caring everyone is. I am facing some pretty serious dental work and was a little tearful about it and this is the first time a dentist and staff was understanding about how hard it was to receive that kind of news. It’s really hard to put into words how wonderful they are. I didn’t feel rushed nor did I feel like they were going to try to spell me services I didn’t need. Their goal is to help you have the best care and give you all the information to make the best decision you can for your oral health. And I haven’t even discussed that they are a state of the art facility that has their own lab in house so services that you do need to have done they can accommodate the same day. I’m thrilled to be a patient of Dr. Racaneli and I highly recommend him!

I have been going to Dr. Racanelli for 4 years now. He and his staff are the best. Everyone is friendly and your comfort is important to them, because lets face it, not many of us like going to the dentist. I had gone thru a teeth whitening that i had issues with, sensitivity with in office treatment so much so that I couldn’t even sit thru it. When they asked if I wanted to try it again, I asked if I could have novocaine and Dr. Racanelli said it wouldn’t be an issue. They have always been very accommodating and they care how your treatments went (crowns, fillings etc) by following up that night or the next day to see how you’re doing. I highly recommend Dr. Racanelli

I went to Dr. Racanelli to start invisalign and during that entire process I was so incredibly happy with the results that I was seeing that I now go for cleanings and soon will get a vaneer. The nicest people! I had deep cleaning and I can’t believe the difference in the service and mostly the results. Ive had that done once a year for the last 10 years, never seeing too much progress in my gum health. This office uses laser treatment in addition, which helped a lot. They are extremely detailed. I also got braces. The doctor is amazing and when I knocked my bracket off, they fixed it right away. The office is very nice and they make you feel special. I love Dr. Recanelli and his work. Everybody in the office makes sure that their patients are comfortable and happy. I came to Stunning Smiles with teeth that left a lot to be desired. They helped me design a long-term plan to restore their function, appearance, and health. Initially, the focus was to restore the health of my teeth and gums in order to build upon a solid foundation. Over the course of a year, we progressed through root canals, bone grafts, crowns, 3 implants, and 9 veneers. It was a very collaborative and friendly process and I was always very well informed. I now have a fully functioning set of teeth that look absolutely terrific. I couldn’t be happier. Having just moved from Canada in July, we were in need of not only a god dentist, but a great one and Dr. Racanelli never fails to exceed our expectations! On our very first visit, he took his time to go over each individual tooth, explained in depth why things needed to be done and came up with a great game plan moving forward for quite an extensive amount of work that needed to be done. His dentistry is extremely preventative and not reactive! That is A+ in our eyes. He also gives great restaurant recommendations and has a very charming personalitly. I am a very nervous person when it comes to dentist appointments and he is very patient and encouraging and has no problem answering silly questions or explaining procedures as he does them. He even goes above and beyond, and calls after your appointment to make sure you are still feeling well. Because of Dr. Racanelli I can say with confidence I am becoming less and less nervous to sit in the chair! His entire office staff are understanding and wonderful as well and are very willing to work with you on coverage plans and scheduling. Overall, it is a joy to visit Dr. Racanelli and his team whether it’s for just a cleaning or for major dental work – and that is something I NEVER thought I would say about any dentist!

Stunning Smiles is a family, cosmetic and implant dental practice located in southwest Las Vegas, minutes from Summerlin. Our patient centered, state-of-the-art practice is focused on delivering Excellence in Dentistry through an emphasis on patient comfort, technology and superior customer service. Dr. Racanelli and his dedicated team of professionals strive to eliminate the fear or anxiety often associated with a visit to the dentist. Dr. Racanelli was selected by his peers as one of the topDentists in Las Vegas for 2016. Dr. Racanelli graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 2001, after receiving his BS in Biology from Villanova University in 1997. Dr. Racanelli completed a dual degree accelerated 7 year program between Villanova and the University of Pennsylvania. This program allowed him to enter dental school after junior year of college and fulfill his passion to become a dentist, which started with the influence of his childhood orthodontist, a family friend and mentor. Dr. Racanelli pursued additional training after dental school, first completing a fellowship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania from 2001-02 in order to learn advanced techniques in oral surgery and implantology. In 2002-03 he attended the General Practice Residency program at Overlook Hospital in Summit, New Jersey where he gained invaluable experience in all areas of general dentistry and developed his love for aesthetic dentistry, which became his focus in private practice. Dr. Racanelli then opened his cosmetic and family dental practice in New York, NY where he was a highly regarded practitioner since 2004 prior to recently relocating to Las Vegas. During that time, he continued to pursue continuing education to further his clinical and practice management skills. In addition, he became a Premier Provider in the cutting-edge Invisalign orthodontic system and an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the ADA. Dr. Racanelli resides in Summerlin with his wife Jennifer and their son Luca.
