Who likes the dentist? Who considers ignoring tooth pain to avoid the dentist? Put your fears aside and book an appointment with Dr. Pascal. His office is professional and friendly. My nerves were quickly eased from my first interaction with the hygienists. She was sweet and made jokes about Prince all while taking a full set of digital x-rays. Dr. Pascal did the cleaning himself and took time and care to explain any issues. He’s got a great touch and was very personalble. No pain here folks! Easily a 5 star rating.

As during my previous two visits, Dr. Pascal was great. He and his assistant are vaccinated against Covid now (as am I — lucky!) so no worries. He took care of my problems promptly and, as usual, explained everything to me thoroughly. Office staff is very pleasant. I’m just really happy with my dentist.

I just wrote a review for Stuyvesant Dental, but figured I might as well write one for Dr. Pascal as well.  I am really picky about who can drill in my mouth and Dr. Pascal is someone I trust not to make any mistakes in there. He is clearly an experienced dentist and an all around professional and pleasant person. He gets five stars from me.

Dr. Pascal is a superb dentist. He is a true professional in every sense of the word. He takes the time to explain to his patients the plan of treatment he recommends, and then answers any and all questions in a manner that is concise, thorough and easy to understand. It is obvious he enjoys his work because he is a perfectionist. In the course of a couple of months, he successfully transformed my smile from one I was embarrassed about to one I am proud to have. All of Dr. Pascal’s staff members are equally professional, pleasant and accommodating. They perform their jobs with aplomb. My sincerest thanks to each and every one of them!

Dr. Pascal is a knowledgeable, highly skilled, gentle, patient, honest and caring dentist. He is a perfectionist and that is who you want “working” in your mouth! I have been his patient since he opened his practice and I highly recommend him! His staff, Inna, Lynette and Renee are wonderful, caring people and are simply the best! My husband is also a patient and feels the same way as I do!

Once again (second visit), Dr. Pascal was great. He is so friendly and warm. His anti-Covid measures are excellent and he has science-based rationales for everything he does and doesn’t do. He explains everything. He takes a conservative approach, doing what he must to try to solve a problem (I went in with a toothache) without being overly aggressive: there is a “wait and see” aspect to my problem, with various possibilities that may arise in the future. His assistant was kind and efficient (X-rays) and his office manager understood that I had changed my appointment and made sure to get rid of the one I made for a future date that I now don’t need, without my having to ask her to do so. I found Dr. Pascal after Covid because I’m not taking public transportation or taxis and wanted a dentist within walking distance of my home. I consider myself very lucky to have found this lovely individual who is highly experienced and knowledgeable.

I’ve been going here for years, starting when I lived in Stuytown and even since I’ve moved several times further downtown. My visits are always quick and efficient; I’m typically in and out of there in 30 minutes for a regular checkup, xrays, and cleaning. I like how unlike in other dental offices I used to visit where dental hygienists do much of the work, Dr Pascal himself does the cleaning, providing a thorough checkup as well as commentary and advice along the way. Dr Pascal and Dr Schwartz, the other dentist in the practice, are super friendly and pleasant, as are all other members of the staff. Saturday appointments are a nice touch for those of us with hectic work schedules.

I’ve been going to Dr. Pascal since 2006.  He’s great.  Gentle, honest and caring.  I like that fact that he usually does the cleanings, rather than a hygienist.  Nothing against a hygienist but since the Dr. is doing all the work you know he’s going to catch any problems you might have.  Whenever you have to get work done above the regular cleaning the office team calls your insurance ahead of the work to find out what will be covered and what your copay will be so there are  no surprise bills.  They text you to confirm your appointment so you won’t forget, which is really convenient.  I highly recommend Dr Pascal to my coworkers and now have my husband seeing him too!

Amazing Amazing Dentist. I have huge fears of dentists for good reasons that I do not need to get into to. But Dr. Pascal is an amazing dentist and man. His team worked hard to make me feel safe and out of pain and he did the best work in the over 15 dental surgeries I have been through. I can NOT say enough good stuff about his office and him. I will be moving to California and though my heart lies in New York, I will miss his dental office the most! Thank you for being such a great and sensitive dentist!

Dr. Pascal is an amazing dentist, and all around great guy.  He explains all the options, what he’s thinking, and what he’ll be doing before he does it.  I’ve never had to wait long before being seen, and he always seems to have your best interests (dental and financial) in mind during his work.
