There are too many good things to say about this place. I will start off by saying that their patient service is great. They really take their time with patients to explain the procedure and to make them feel comfortable. What better than a few smiles as you walk in, a TV right in front of you, and friendly service from everyone in the office. Secondly, they are efficient and do a quality job. I have had multiple cleanings and just recently had a teeth whitening. I would highly recommend both services to everyone. There are so many dentists in the Tampa Bay region, but there aren’t many great dentists. Well this office has one. Dr. Daira is so kind and loving to her patients. She has been in the profession for such a long time and is very knowledgeable on the subject of dentistry. I wouldn’t go anywhere else and I definitely wouldn’t find anything better.

From the moment I walked in I was greeted with a big smile and a hello. The staff is very warm, knowledgeable, down to earth and patient. This is a small family owned business that I would definitely recommend to anyone who lives in this area! Conveniently located in a shopping center, there is ample parking and it is well lit. They are also open until 7pm on Tuesdays which is very accommodating for the working man or woman! Oh! And what really sold me even more was the oil diffusers throughout the office. It did not smell like a “dental office” at all! Very relaxing atmosphere.

I called on a day that the office was closed and the dentist still picked up. Although they were fully booked, she managed to squeeze me in the next day because my insurance was expiring soon. Ended up needing two fillings, it was quick and painless. Dr Avila explained everything she was doing and made sure I was comfortable. The staff was very nice and patient. Thank you for squeezing me in on such short notice!

Wow. I was treated like a queen from the moment I walked in. Waits were brief, and fresh coffee and TV made the time fly by. Dr. Avila is so kind and knowledgeable, and took the time to answer all my questions. Such a great experience, compared to the “Corporate” dentists nearby, where you never see the same dentist twice and where my time is not treated with any respect. Three crowns later and two fillings later, I have a brand-new smile. Thanks, Sunshine Dentistry. A+++

Dr. Avila is amazing , her staff are incredible. She is very thorough and let me know exactly what needed to be done. Very flexible, easy to make appointments and you are seen right away. Will be back for rest of my procedures so I can keep my teeth pretty! !

Dr. Avila just took over this practice in November 2015, and already has made some amazing improvements! If you haven’t been to this office in awhile, you are going to be super-impressed. Unlike some offices that have limited hours and force you to wait weeks for an appointment, Sunshine Dentistry is open five days a week and has early/late appointments available so I didn’t have to take time off from work. And they had fresh coffee and a big-screen TV to enjoy during my brief wait. So convenient and comfortable. Dr. Avila placed several crowns quickly and painlessly, at a very reasonable price, and treated me like family throughout. Never had a better experience at the dentist. To top it off, Dr. Avila has HD TVs and Rokus with headphones in each room so that I could watch Netflix or listen to Pandora throughout my procedure. I got to watch my favorite Friends episodes, and the time flew by! I’d never seen this cool tech before in a dentists office, but now I dont think I could ever go see a dentist without it. I cannot recommend Dr. Avila highly enough. She even has some great new patient specials, that helped save my family a few $$ for Christmas presents. Tell them CJ sent you! 😉 (PS- Ignore those old negative reviews. They are for the old dentist and his wife, who are now retired.)

The doctor is extremely friendly and professional. She is kind and smart and always gives you the right advice and makes the right decisions for you. The clinic is a very welcoming place everyone is so friendly and charming. They call to confirm your appointments and reconfirm them every single time and are very considerate.

It’s great to have such a nice and patient dentist. Going to the dentist is never my favorite time but Dr.Avila made the experience exceptional. She is smart and competent dentist who treats her patients with respect. The office is small, clean and with very friendly staff. They are helpful and there to serve you. It was an efficient experience. Each room has a tv for the patient which adds to the comfortability. I’m so glad I found Sunshine Dentistry. It’s great to have such an awesome dentist near home!
