I had a great experience as a new patient and will certainly be back.  Dr. Gibbs was very thorough, knowledgeable, and friendly.  The staff was also excellent and especially helpful when it came to tracking down my dental records from the previous dentist.  I highly recommend Terrace Oaks Dental for anyone in the Tampa area.

After moving to a new area, I needed to establish a new dentist. I had a lot of choices. I’m glad I went with Terrace Oaks Dental. Dr. Gibbs and his staff are friendly, professional and knowledgeable. From the very first visit, they treated me like a life long patient. It was like I’d always gone to their office. I would recommend Dr. Gibbs to friends and family.

I saw Dr. Gibbs after another area dentist recommended several procedures i “needed” to have done to my teeth which are not only expensive, but very painful. Dr. Gibbs said my teeth were just fine and would not recommend any procedures – what a relief! I will be back! S. Hulls

Dr. Gibbs is by far one of the best dentists in the area.  I’ve been a patient of his ever since he started practicing in the Tampa Bay Area over five years ago.  Dr. Gibbs’ thorough knowledge of dentistry & honesty are the qualities that has kept me as a satisfied patient all these years.  The friendly and accommodating staff at Terrace Oaks Dental makes me feel right at home & the front desk are ever so helpful with setting up appointments that fit around my schedule.

Dr. Gibbs is the best dentist I’ve ever had. He truly cares about his patients and is very professional and knowledgeable. I knew I was in good hands when he made sure to explain the procedure to me and addressed all my concerns. His staff did an amazing job as well. They are friendly and go the extra mile to make sure you feel comfortable. Thank you for the great experience and the quality dental work. There is no other dentist I would go to or recommend. When you find the best, you keep it!

I really enjoy going to this dentistry though I’ve never sought professional dental health on my own before so I had no idea what to expect. Though this was my first time the dental team has been very helpful with explaining the cleaning process and the financial planning. Though I’ve been late by five minutes a couple times to my appointments, the office and hygienist always are professional, timely, quick, and courteous. I’ve gotten a deep clean on my right and left side of the mouth. It hurts but with the numbing medicine, I’m able to bear it. The hygienist is calm, understanding, and light hearted when the pain is a little bit too much. Awhile I’m getting my teeth done, I watch the TV inside the room. I think it might be broken. Either way, it’s nice to look at something other than the hands and metal pieces going inside my mouth. The place is also clean, spacious, and inviting. I just finished my follow up examination and my gums are less inflamed than before. Thankful for getting professional help and advice. I look forward for my cleaning in 4 months.

I had not been to the dentist for over 10years. Yes a long time I know from 3 affordable visits I have teeth to be proud of. Not only the appearance but the over all of my health of my teeth and gums are amazing. The things I love about this practice. The standard of Professionalism, the honesty and not trying to over sell, the friendliness and the quality of the work. So happy and lucky I found a practice that care. Dr Gibbs you are awesome!

Dr. Gibbs an all the staff at Terrace Oaks Dental are amazing. Everyone is kind, patient and treats you with respect. They always answer my questions before I even ask. Never feel like they are in a rush to take my money and move me along; they take the time to make sure I understand. They don’t make me feel dumb or terrible about my dental situation, something previous dental offices have done which discouraged me from getting the treatment I needed. Terrace Oaks Dental is the opposite of every bad thing you fear about the dental office. I feel very fortunate that I found this office and am excited that I can finally improve my dental health because of the great service I receive from Terrace Oaks.

Dr. Gibbs is an amazing dentist and he always understand the problem of his customers. He has been following me since 2015 and since then he has always been impeccable from any point of view. He always keep in consideration what I have to say every time I go. I, as a professional musician, have certain needs – due to playing for several hours every day around 6-8 I needed a solution that would have helped me to relieve stress from my jaw and avoiding biting more and more while getting tired – because of that some of my teeth changed position, they started not being in line. Dr. Gibbs was able to make a cover for my bottom teeth made of indestructible soft rubber that I had to wear while playing -thick enough to relieve almost totally the stress I kept feeling before, very comfortable feeling and color clear. Just recently, exactly two months ago, we discussed about trying to align my teeth. Best solution was having Invisalign and not bracers(that are too painful to play with). So the transition from soft rubber to plastic wasn’t that much . In September after having started wearing Invisalign Dr. Gibbs follows me carefully through the process and I am very satisfied already with the results achieved . If you are around the Tampa area- don’t miss him, just go there ! I fly to Tampa (from Chicago) every 8 weeks ! I’d recommend to anyone to go to the Terrance Oaks Dental .

My wife and I have been going to Dr. Gibbs for several years now. Have had an outstanding experience on every visit. Completely satisfied with the dental care he and his staff have provided. Would highly recommended him — and actually I have to friends and family.

New to this dentist office and am very glad that I made the switch.   Dr. Gibbs is awesome!  He is very friendly and informative. You could tell he cares about his patients and does not push for any unnecessary treatments. Hygienists and office staff are also very friendly and helpful.

Dr. Gibbs and his staff are truly exceptional. I’ve never had a better experience at any other dental office. They make you feel welcome and take care of you in a timely matter; I’ve never waited more than 5 or so minutes in the waiting room. They remember who you are, things you’ve talked about, and just generally do amazing work. I had a lot of major problems, but they made me feel comfortable and calmed my nerves. (I’m normally terrified of the dentist.) Dr. Gibbs assured me that we would take it step by step and that I would be taken care of. I can gladly say he was so right! I am pain free and now only working on minor issues. Another major thing I’ve noticed is that I’ve never heard a single member of the staff say anything negative. I’ve been to a number of offices where the staff talks to you like you are incompetent on the phone, or makes snide remarks about patients after they leave or hang up. Not here! They are not only respectful, but caring too. I would recommend Dr. Gibbs to EVERYONE!

First time visit to Dr. Gibbs dental practice. The appointment was easy to schedule over the phone, but make sure you have your dental insurance card handy. I went in for x-rays and a cleaning. The office is practicing Covid safety protocols- I was the only patient in the waiting room, all employees were wearing masks. Danielle completed all x-rays (18 of them) and cleaning. Dr. Gibbs introduced himself and conducted an examination. He took his time and asked some pertinent questions, and he made a recommendation for future treatments. All in all a great dental experience.

Very nice. Did not feel rushed. Dr Gibbs took the time to explain everything & understands that I have not won the lotto & cannot fix everything right now. His staff was even very patient and nice on the phone the next day when I called back with a few more questions (because of changes in insurance). There are even some after work days which helps. In one visit-fantastic. only draw back (which is every dental office in the world!)-the hygienist is booked far out.

Dr. Patrick Gibbs is awesome! He is patience, professional, a perfectionist with a wonderful bedside manner.  His Dental Hygienist is one of the best I’ve had in the past 20 years.  The office staff is very accommodating, and cheerful.  I highly recommend Terrace Oaks Dental to anyone looking for one of the best dentist and the best dental office in town.

I’ve had my first dental work performed here with Dr. Gibbs and his Dental Assistant, Ruthy. They did some fillings and a crown for me and I have to say, it was a wonderful experience, all things considered. Dr. Gibbs was very explanatory and light handed…he made the whole process much more bearable by being so caring.

This review is about Jessica, the hygienist, who did not see my wife for her deep cleaning because of a 10 min delay (she did half of it 10 days ago). I call this double standard, because being on time should be bilateral, while as a patient, I had to wait beyond my scheduled time, more than 10 minutes. I recommend that the owner removes her from his crew, because she is hurting the business with such an attitude. Will cancel my own appointment if she will be my hygienist. The funny thing is that when I ask the front desk the full name of the hygienist, she said, she could only give me the her first name. She even does not know the clients have the right to know full names of people who will treat them to be able to check their licenses online or for possible filing of complaints. UPDATE: Dr. Gibbs called me and said he addressed the issue and rescheduled the cleaning session with another hygienist. My initial review was 1-star and I made it 4-star for his following up and caring about his patients satisfaction.

I’ve been to this practice a few times, and I’m really impressed. One of the most important things to me is timeliness. Every time I’ve been to this practice I was seen on time even if was late in the day. Everyone is professional and courteous. The location is convenient. Today, I asked for a cleaning, and the dental hygienist quickly reminded me if I got the cleaning this month, my insurance would not cover it since they only cover cleanings every 6 months. Most of the time when I’ve had insurance questions at other practices, it takes a little bit of time for them to look up what insurance allows & the patient has to take the initiative to ask about that. So – just great customer service and Dr. Gibbs is very nice and professional as well. Highly recommend!

Dr. Gibbs and his practice are the very embodiment of what one wants to see out of their dentist. Kind and carrying, yet on the forefront of technological advancements and the latest that the field of dentistry has to offer. One cannot expect to find a better dentist. I recently had a rather severe root canal worked on there, and to my surprise IT WAS ABSOLUTELY PAINLESS. Dr. Gibbs has the hands if a surgeon yet balances that out with a calm and relaxed persona that leaves the patient at ease. I know I (and most likely everyone else) don’t look forward to going to the dentist, but at Terrace Oaks Dental you will never have to dred the trip again. His staff makes you remarkably comfortable from the second you walk in for the first time, and they take every opportunity from there on out to take care of you like a longtime friend or family member. BEST DENTIST I HAVE EVER HAD. PERIOD.

From the front desk staff to the Dentist, everyone I encountered was super helpful in answering all my questions and making sure I was getting the best dental care I’ve experienced. I had quite the whirlwind with some insurance company issues, but Betty at Terrace Oaks was so patient with my frazzle-need, and called me whenever I needed to get something updated for their records. It was my fault for never having asked my insurance company for an insurance card *whoops* you’d think they mail these, right? Anyways! From the very beginning, as in when I called to schedule my appointment, they notified me of what I was going to be charged, so there were no surprises when I arrived. It took maybe 5-10 minutes to fill out the paperwork when I got there and I swear it was maybe 60 seconds after I submit my paperwork that I was called back. I was told as a new patient I needed two different types of x-rays, having had x-rays several times a year when I was younger due to this and that and whatnot, I was tired of having these, I didn’t was exposure to this stuff! (I know, call me a crunchy granola, I embrace it) I really didn’t understand the need for this, but the dental assistant, I believe it was Jennifer, really explained why they needed it, and why it was important for my dental health, and guess what?? Minimal exposure compared to way back when! She was so patient and kind about it, I could see any other dentist office personnel getting prickly about my inquisitiveness, so I commend her awesome education and people skills! I rarely had to wait during this entire appointment, and when I did, it was always less than a minute. I’m so glad I found Dr. Gibbs and his team, they’re thorough, patient, and provide excellent care. I kind of didn’t want to write this review because I want this to be a well kept secret to me, myself, and I! Thank you Jennifer for giving me the best cleaning ever, I’ve never had anyone so detailed, and thanks to Dr. Gibbs for being straight forward and honest on improving and maintaining my dental health. I was transferred to Dr. Gibbs and his staff from the previous dentist that was in that office in Temple Terrace.  I was due for a cleaning and thought I’d give them a chance and see how we “clicked”.  Everyone, from the front desk staff to Sherry and Dr. Gibbs were a pleasure.  Sherry, the dental hygienist, was informative and had a gentle hand as she cleaned my sensitive teeth.  Dr. Gibbs was friendly during the exam and made some suggestions with no pressure as to my decision.   The front desk staff greeted me as I entered the office and explained the fees, etc on my way out.  I am happy to say I have a new dentist with Dr. Gibbs and his great staff.

Had a great experience! I was initially referred to this office by a friend for a second opinion because I was uncomfortable at another dental office when they tried to “sell” me Invisalign and said I had multiple cavities that needed fillings. After consultation with Dr. Gibbs, I was extremely shocked to find out that no such cavities existed! There are a lot of shady dentist out there trying to scam their patient’s money. I’m lucky enough to find Dr. Gibbs, a dentist that I can trust for all my dental needs. He is straight forward, has a great staff support, and his office hours are very accommodating for busy individuals such as myself. Overall, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this office.

I had my first visit with Dr. Gibbs today!!!!  Amazing He Is!!!!  I was also impressed with the staff………  All so kind and reassuring!!!!  Need a bridge done, next week….  broken teeth…. I actually am excited to go……..  Never thought I would say that about a dental visit….!!!  Wish I could give 10 stars!!!! 🙂
