After several years of dental neglect, I decided to get back to a regular schedule. I received a mailing about this new office close to home and decided to try it. It is indeed very modern, and the folks here are very courteous. I ended up having to have some major work done, but they explained everything well, from the cause of my problem, the procedures involved, to the cost and possible payment plans. Very happy.

Decided to finally go to the dentist after putting it off for an embarrassing amount of time. Overall an amazing experience! Pros: – Front desk staff is very personable and kind. Made it very easy to make an appointment and can do admin stuff electronically (i.e, new patient dental history, emailing receipts, insurance). – Have very modern technology for x-rays. Plus the X-ray tech wouldn’t stop laughing at my jokes (I’m not that funny!). It was a fun experience considering dental x-rays are always a little painful to me – Benefits coordinator made it very clear what the doctor was recommending versus what my insurance would cover. So, no surprise out of pocket expenses – Routine cleaning was bearable. Cons: – None

It had been over three years since my last checkup, because my previous dentist was too far away. I received a flyer in the mail about their Grand Opening, so I decided it was time to “bite the bullet” (bad pun) and get a tooth checked that seemed to have lost a filling. Everything was easy about this place, from filling out the pre-service information on-line before going to the office, to parking, checking in, getting in to see the doctor, and paying for everything when you need major work done (as it turned out I needed due to my broken tooth!) It is indeed modern, as there are TVs in every room to view x rays, charts, plans, and even TV shows when you are needing to wait like I did for my new crown/ (They made the crown in house, on the same day, while I waited!) Dr. Cradoc is very nice, gentle, patient and knowledgeable

I was new to Houston when I first started going to The Heights Modern Dentistry a little over a year ago. I drove by and saw they had a fantastic “new client special,” but I have kept going back for a reason! First off, all of the staff is extremely friendly and nice. Being a college student, the first time I went I was a little tight on money, but they took the time to walk me through all of the costs and hold off on any services that I couldn’t afford at the time. There was no pressure to follow through with any services beyond the basic initial exam. Since I’ve returned, I’ve continued to receive great hospitality and get a sense that everyone there really cares about their patients. Dana, the dental hygienist, does an awesome job and is very eager to share information about proper dental hygiene. She is one of the most knowledgeable hygienists I’ve ever had and has lots of tips and tricks to share. I work in a hospital as part of my graduate school training and I was explaining how many patients in the ICU don’t get their teeth brushed on a regular basis, and most of the time they merely have simple oral care sponges in their room but no toothbrushes. At the end of my visit, Dana donated several oral care packages with a toothbrush, toothpaste, and floss to hand out to my patients. That showed me just how caring the staff is at The Heights Modern Dentistry! My experience with one of the dentists, Dr. Cradoc, is very limited because I’ve only been in for routine cleaning exams. However, he is very friendly and takes the time to get to know you in the short time you have together. I would definitely recommend this place for biannual teeth cleaning and exams. Modern equipment, clean facilities, and an extremely caring staff!

This is my favorite dentist! I will be specific and share why: 1) I have seen 3 different dentists and all of them are fantastic. All are young, energetic, have very modern approaches to things I feel like should have been taught to me forever ago. 2) the admin staff is awesome. They are very concerned with all details of your visit, and are very flexible if you are running late. I got there half an hour late once and they didn’t blink in seeing me even though it was nearing closing time. 3) you get options when work is done and they explain everything in detail. If you have a question it will be answered and you won’t feel stupid asking it. Want to know what that chemical is? They not only explain the chemical, they go further and explain it in context and make sure you are comfortable. 4) they do a great job scraping everything off my teeth. The cleaning portion and the polishing portion in other words are quite discrete and I never feel like my teeth didn’t get enough attention. 5) the hygienist does a thorough job on the cleaning and polishing, but so does the dentist when they check your X-rays and reexamine the cleaned teeth. And they will tell you all the comments, the reasons why your teeth are or aren’t great, and practical tips that will keep you brushing. 6) The front desk is not a jerk about insurance issues. I am talking about confusion about hsa stuff, insurance cards, billing questions, copays, etc. they are great. Go here if you want an effortless trip to the dentist and learn about your teeth, and feel like you will probably go back to the same place because they aren’t terrible like your dentist right now probably is.

I had been putting off the dentist since moving to Houston because I do not like the dentist and I knew I had a crown or inlay that I needed to take care. This meant that I would probably be coming to the office a couple of times in a short time frame. I was a new patient and a little worried about stepping into the unknown. All the reviews are positive (except for one person that does not say what went wrong) so my choice was easy. Since the office is so new, they have state of the art technology and an open schedule. I was able to get an appointment whenever I wanted. Score! When I arrived, the receptionist greeted me immediately and made me feel comfortable. She offered me water and was extremely nice. After that, the dental assistant took me back and got me situated. We quickly took some x-rays and chatted for a bit. Dr. Cradoc quickly came in after the x-rays and got to know me on a personal level a little bit. I could tell that the staff communicated with each other well as they all (Dr., assistant and hygenienist) knew a little something about me before they came in. I felt very comfortable with everyone and trusted them all. After going through my x-rays, it was clear I needed an inlay (yikes!). The office was able to do my cleaning and inlay that day which ended up saving me a lot of time in the end. I have never been to an office where they were able to accomodate for patients like this. The inlay was also painless! I was amazed at the skill Dr. Cradoc and his team exhibited. I have never felt so comfortable in a dentist’s chair. Before receiving perscribed treatments, I reviewed my insurance benefits with a benefits counselor and they even offered flexible payment options. During my cleaning, the hygienist gave me a lot of pointers and explained why certain things happened and how to prevent them. I felt that I could ask as many questions as I wanted and that the hygienist and dentist truly cared about my dental hygiene and well-being. I will continue to be a patient here and would encourage those looking for a dentist to come here

I have been a patient of this business for three years. I came after going to a chain of dental services only to find that I wanted to find a place that was more personable and connected to their work. Well if your like me this is the place to go. In three years I haven’t had one negative experience. The staff are always friendly no matter the turn over. Layla especially! She remembered who I was and greets me excitedly every time I come. The dental experience is like no other! All of the dentist, specialists and dental assistants are educated and competent in addition to are also very personable. Not to mention they all work well together. Dr. Clark and Aldo got me through a difficult procedure, 3 fillings yikes, and they were patient, understanding and entertaining all wrapped in one. Which was exactly what I needed at that time. I can’t end without mentioning the modern aspects. Having the latest technology when it comes to dentistry combined with a room designed with the patient in mind, comfy chairs and cable TV, definitely makes for a relaxing atmosphere to help you get through whatever procedure with the greatest of ease. Big Kudos to Dr. Cradoc and his team.

After Andrew D. recommended I check out his dentist on a Friday afternoon, I made a quick phone call on Monday morning and they had me in at 3:30 that same day–talk about speedy service! Admittedly, I’m sure they are less busy now as they’ve only been open about 3-4 weeks, but I do appreciate how they made me feel so well accommodated. At first I couldn’t figure out what made Andrew D. so terribly enthusiastic about his DENTIST. I mean, it’s the freaking dentist. How exciting can it be? After my first visit, though, I will say that I have been converted into what Andrew’s girlfriend calls “a member of the cult.” This place is absolutely awesome and totally lives up to the name. They are brand new and seem to have the latest in dental technology. As someone who suffered 4 years of orthodontics (including headgear and a major corrective jaw surgery) I probably feel more “at home” in a dentist’s office than most. Still, this place is “not your mom’s dentist’s office,” as I remarked to them on my tour. Every room has its own TV and they hand you the remote as soon as you walk in so you can quickly flip to whatever you’d like. The staff is the best. Every single person you’ll talk to is friendly, fun, and super outgoing. I’ve definitely never had so much fun at a dentist’s office before, which was good since I was there for about 3.5 hours since Kyle C. and I went in tandem and they tried to take care of both of us at the same time. (His deep cleaning took much longer.) I didn’t spend much time with Dr. Cradoc since I was mostly there for a cleaning and periodontal assessment, but he was great! Super nice, very knowledgeable, and even watched some Food Network with me even though he was done with the exam. He also offered Kyle C. and I complimentary whitening right before our wedding in July which really sealed the deal! And now that Kyle C. will be going back for laser gum treatment, we will be regulars–can’t say I’m too disappointed since they are such a blast!

I am very happy with my first experience at this office! Upon entering the door, I was immediately greeted with smiling faces, immediately checked in and then almost immediately taken back. What I enjoyed about the initial sign-in process is that it is all by computer, no filling out paperwork here! I guess that’s where the “modern” part comes in haha. Unlike most offices, where an assistant usually takes you back and then you’re greeted by another assistant before you actually visit with the doctor, here, the doctor himself actually came out to greet me in the waiting room and then walked me back. The entire staff was very friendly and explained all parts of the process as we went along. They use “modern” technology with regards to x-rays and pictures and it’s right there where you can view it as they record. Each patient room comes equipped with a TV and remote for your viewing pleasure. In the middle of the visit, the office attendant makes a visit and goes through the work to be performed and pulls your insurance information up right in front of you as you lay comfortably in the dentist chair, and then explains all financial terms to you. Every part of my visit went very smoothly and I was never left alone waiting for long periods of time. Their scheduling is on point, like a well-oiled machine. I look forward to making them my long-term dentist office!

So this may be a bit lengthy, but I wanted to share my personal experience with The Heights Modern Dentistry. I have been going here since 2015 and Dr. Willie Cradoc has been my dentist and Jessica Martinez my hygienist, who both are very professional and experienced. Recently I was to have all four of my wisdom teeth removed and Dr. Morris was my surgeon, who did a great job seeing as I have never been put under anesthesia and was a bit nervous. But a week after the surgery I got a dry socket, and the pain was so intense i had to schedule an emergency appointment on a Monday morning. I spoke to Leela (I think that how I spell it) and she was very courteous and was able to get me in that same day, and I was seen at 2 o’clock pm, although I had to drive from New Waverly to the Heights, it was actually a nice drive. A few days later, Leela called me and asked if Dr. Morris had followed up with me, which he did soon after and I was just very impressed with the level of customer service from the staff at that office. I have no problem traveling to this dentist office because every position they have filled, is with a kind professional. I assume the bad reviews are from people who may or may not have had a genuinely bad experience, but guess what, nobody is perfect! We are all people and sometimes we make mistakes, but don’t let some of these bad reviews put a bad taste in your mouth. I am very big on customer service, seeing as I am in the restaurant business, and I have absolutely nothing but good things to say about The Heights Modern Dentistry. Thank you and your team for giving me a lifelong dentist
