I’ve been a patient of Dr. Mueller for many years now, beginning when I lived in the neighborhood. Not only is she is an incredibly skilled dentist, but her hygienists have consistently provided the most pain-free cleanings I have every experienced. When I first became a patient, I was having gum issues that would have most likely led to surgery as a solution, but between Dr. Mueller’s treatment schedule and instruction on how to alter my at-home routine, my gums were completely restored to health. The office staff is professional and courteous, and the overall environment is relaxed and comfortable. I moved to Westchester a few years back, but I still go into the city to Dr. Mueller for my appointments. She’s definitely worth the trek.

Theresa Mueller is one of the most considerate and thoughtful dentists I know. She has treated me for more than twenty years with great insight. She always addresses my concerns. More than that, she is forward looking and has advised me to address concerns that, based on her experience and her knowledge of me and my financial situation, have saved my teeth. When I first came to Dr. Mueller, I had serious periodontal worries. She cooperated with my periodontist, sharing x-rays and treatment times. She extended herself to fit me in immediately on when I broke a tooth. She researched and sent me to see a specialist for my burning tongue. She has made excellent recommendations to other specialists for root canal work and my periodontal concerns. She has offered cosmetic suggestions but has never pushed unnecessary work on me. I could not be happier wtih her professionalism and her bright personality.

OMG!!! This office is great! I made my appointment a week ago. I got a text message and email reminding me of my appointment. When I got to the office the Staff was amazing they handled me with care offered me coffee, tea or juice. The rooms have massage chairs, flat screens and an i pod for my entertainment. Once I was done with my cleaning I meet Dr. Mueller and she was so tender with me. Needless to say I am so excited to continue with her and get a new smile. I recommend this office

I have been going to Dr Mueller for over 20 years and I wouldn’t go to anyone else. She is smart, competent, patient, caring and explains what procedures you may need and why. Dr. Mueller saw me for an emergency visit and couldn’t have made it less painless. It was a great experience, I was seen quickly, had an emergency cavity filled and have already made a follow up appointment for a cleaning! I have been a patient of Dr. Mueller’s for at least 15 years, and I highly recommend her. She has provided both basic treatments as well as restorations (most seriously a broken tooth at the gum line which she not only responded to on a holiday weekend, but which could easily have resulted in a root canal). Fortunately, my tooth is still healthy, and the accident happened in 2011 Whenever a friend or coworker needs a recommendation for a dentist in NYC, I always refer them to Dr Mueller, knowing that she and her staff will take excellent care of them. Dr. Mueller is the best. I’ve been visiting her for about 4 years and I had always been impressed by how she always seemed to remember me… but I was really impressed last year when I had some persistent jaw pain that couldn’t be explained by the x-rays they took in her office. She referred me to an oral surgeon (who was also terrific) and then called me that evening at home after 8pm to see how I was doing and to ask me what the oral surgeon had said! I was both floored and touched. I know she takes MetLife Dental insurance, because that’s what I have. Not sure what other plans are accepted.

A trusted dentist for life! I have been a patient of Dr. Mueller’s for over 25 years now and I would recommend her highly to family, friends and colleagues. Her practice is full of competent and dedicated professionals that follow her ethic. I don’t have the best of teeth and perhaps suffer from a lack of motivation with self care at times, but Dr. Mueller and her hygienists are always reminding me to stay on top of my teeth. My dental insurance is also not the greatest and the out of pocket can be significant at times, but that is a worthy expense in my book.

I was very pleased. The office, staff & Dr Mueller were following exactly the Covid 19 guidelines. This was my first visit to Dr Mueller and there were very complete forms with questions about my health etc. X-rays were made of all my teeth so that she would be fully aware of the condition of my teeth and mouth, After examining my X-rays and my mouth she told me of various conditions that exist but said they were not severe enough to warrant any treatment. Dr Mueller herself cleaned my teeth. She was very careful and very concerned that I not experience any pain. I will definitely use her as my dentist.
