I’ve had an incredibly positive experience thus far during both of my recent visits to Thirty-2 Advanced Dentistry. (I still have more upcoming appts.). Beyond absolute professionalism (something expected of any good business), I’ve observed that absolutely every single person working there shows tremendous patience, kindness, & respect to patients & visitors (friends/family of patients) alike. The wonderful Dr. Naz, their incredible Oral Hygienist Shazi, their super cheerful Dental Assistant Marco, their sweet & kind Front Desk Manager Monica, & everyone else with whom I’ve had contact during my visits, have all been truly terrific. Regarding Treatment Options, in each instance both Dr. Naz & Shazi individually spent an incredible amount of time outlining & explaining in complete detail my treatment options both within my HMO Plan & beyond it, based on my needs & possible choices. They were tremendously empathetic & made me feel comfortable with all the options, treating both the more costly ones as well as the less expensive, more affordable ones with equal measure. Regarding costs, as I’m a very detailed & cautious person, they showed me tremendous consideration and spent considerable time explaining & reviewing every single option & corresponding cost available to me for my needed treatments & care. Monica coordinated & confirmed the details of my HMO coverage, & worked with me in great detail to help me be clear on what my out of pocket costs would be for any item I selected not covered by my HMO. Regarding the treatments I’ve had thus far, everything from full X-rays, a very deep & difficult Filling, Deep Cleaning (aka Scaling & Planing), Laser Gum Treatment, and more, I was expecting each to take much longer than it did. Instead, I was so surprised & happy at the speed & efficiency yet meticulous manner in which each was completed. It was very different from my previous long, drawn out, painful dental experiences. I felt little to no discomfort & no pain at all (which Shazi emphasized should be the case at all times), and my recovery time was barely a matter of hours, in part because of their expertise & in part because I chose the Laser option which was new to me. In summary, Marco, Shazi, & Dr. Naz were all fast, accurate, cheerful, kind, & patient with me during my treatments, and they managed to ease my nerves completely & ensure my comfort. I progressed from being a nervous, concerned, and anxious new patient, to actually looking forward to my next visits to their office, and as importantly, to actually being inspired & motivated to focus more on my dental care.

I once had great apprehension and anxiety for any dentist and would avoid a simple cleaning. I’ve never been one who walks out from the Dentist only having needed a cleaning. From 6 years of poor Orthodontistry, Ive had extensive work done. None of which I walked away from, with a feeling of comfort or trust. I went into 32 Advanced Dentistry in January and couldn’t imagine going anywhere else. Dr. Naz and her whole team could not have changed my mind any further, towards Dentistry. She immediately meets you with a smile and explains everything in a way that makes sense. She truly wants her patients to have an understanding and knowledge of Dentistry, their treatment plan, cost and works with you and what you’re able to do. Since January 2017,  I’ve seen Dr. Debra Stein, DMD, MMSc (32’s, Endodontist) on 3 occasions and no longer have any reservations towards Root Canals. She’s brilliant, left handed (which I came to know in our time together) gentle and I never once had any pain (which of course, is different with every patient). I then went to Dr. Sarvenaz Angha, DDS (32’s, Periodontist) for Crown Lengthening and had nothing but the same feelings towards her. A bright smile, right handed (LOL) and very gentle. I had a Deep Cleaning done by Shazi, who was also great! Marco, Monica and Silvia couldn’t be any friendlier, professional, or kind and easy to work with. The entire team that Dr. Naz has put together, have eliminated any phobia or mistrust I once had for the Dentist. Dr. Naz and 32 Advanced Dentistry are the only office I can honestly recommend, trust and could not be anymore thankful for!

Was here Friday, September 12, 2014 for a first time visit. The place looks upscale, as well it should given the real estate in the immediate vicinity. I could see how one could get the impression that one’s visit here could entail the paying of a little extra for  the facility. Upscale place equals premium prices…. perhaps (that equation did definitely enter my mind) I will reserve judgement on that after a few more visits. (Yes I will be going back) Michael, at the front desk, was very hospitable and kept apologizing for the disarray due to one of the main office staff members being out due to an emergency. I can’t say I noticed much disarray. I’m also a very easy going type who doesn’t get bent out of shape by much. Dr. Naz was warm and inviting and spent quite a bit of time with me answering any questions I may have had. I appreciated her forthright manner and came away gaining more knowledge (after X-rays were taken) about what was going on with my teeth. I had some cosmetic questions I  also wanted answered and she went in depth with explaining what possible options were available (something I’ll definitely be exploring in the future). I wish not to call out my previous dentist by name here but compared to my experience in Dr. Naz’s office my previous dentist seemed almost feral and barbaric in comparison. I had my teeth cleaned by perhaps the best hygienist (Ashley) I have ever encountered. Ashley proved to be knowledgeable, caring, warm, thorough and took obvious pride in her work. As an added bonus (not meaning to be flippant here) Ashley is also a very lovely looking woman- which, I suppose, lessens the pain of having one’s teeth poked and prodded. Since very few, I’m sure, are great fans of going to the dentist anything to lessen the anxiety is welcome. The office staff were all very welcoming and warm, Michael, Carlos, Ashley, Dr. Naz, et al… Check it out for yourself.

I was trying to find a dentist in the area, I found Thirty-two online.  The décor is amazing, the manager Cora is very sweet and leaves you no surprises when it comes to cost. I was seen by Dr. Naz who is AMAZING, she’s honest and does not bs.  Turns out I needed a root canal, she reffered me to their endodontist (what I love is the fact that the endodontist comes to their office, I don’t have to deal with any other staff/office), the endodontist Dr. Stein who is very nice and professional did my root canal, which was pain free.  The massage chairs, and nitrous helped:) (they sure do make sure you are comfortable and anxiety free, they even give you a blanket wow)  I have been back multiple times and have absolutely no complaints….their staff is awesome and friendly especially Heather and Michael. Thank you Thirty-two.

This review has been a long time coming, but after receiving 6 years (and counting!) of incredible, unparalleled dental service from Dr. Naz and her incredible team at Thirty-2 Dentistry, I knew the time had come to leave a review. There are so many outstanding factors that combine to make Thirty-2 the best dentist I’ve visited in town BY FAR: Friendly service: Dr. Naz and her staff are astoundingly kind, respectful, and helpful. I’ve never failed to have a great experience during my check-up’s. Flexible scheduling: My schedule can sometimes be pretty chaotic, and Thirty-2 has always been accommodating and understanding when it comes to rescheduling appointments, or proactively finding time in the future. First-class facilities: The Thirty-2 Dentist office is not only reliable clean and organized — it is also aesthetically beautiful! Great maintenance and great taste combine to make it a relaxing, pleasant environment for any procedure. Honesty: I can always trust that any diagnosis or recommended treatment is an honest analysis of my dental needs. Dr. Naz will never prescribe unnecessary treatments, but also won’t overlook the need for preventative measures. Since I’ve been visiting her, my tooth and gum health has improved greatly, thanks to their honest and diligent assessment and care. Efficacy: In addition to honesty, Dr. Naz and her staff are incredible effective with their treatments. I was barely able to feel anything when I’ve gotten fillings, and any tools are handled with the utmost care. Low costs: Dr. Naz’s pricing is fair and affordable. Within my company’s insurance network, I can afford to get the best-in-market treatment without overpaying. Long story short, there should be no hesitation when it comes to choosing a dentist — Dr. Naz is the best in town. I plan to continue visiting for many years to come.

This office provides dentistry the way you always dreamed it could be. Every aspect of dental care surgical, cosmetic, cleaning or special needs are all delivered with the highest degree of expertise, resourcefulness and compassion. Dr. Naz is an artist at what she does. She is skilled, smart and personable. She always exhibits sensitivity to the needs of the patient, both health wise and financial. When numbing is necessary for a procedure, even that is carried out painlessly. The members of her well-trained staff are well-prepared and thoughtful. They work well together, are knowledgable and helpful with insurance issues. Best of all, this is a happy staff. That is a plus for everyone who walks through their door.

I had a previous review..but all my reviews somehow got “lost” when I changed my pic..I’m tech un-savvy, so likely, I screwed it up somehow. I gave Dr. Naz & staff 5 stars last time (a couple of yrs ago), and the rating still stands.  I like to support West Hollywood businesses; approx 7 (?) yrs ago, I was looking for a new dentist, wandered in, loved the office design, found out Dr. Naz is female, so that was it, ha ha.  I mean, who truly likes going to dentist..so it might as well have great decor, female-owned and be located in Weho! The office staff is professional and on top of appointments!  I appreciate receiving reminder calls for an upcoming visit, or that I need to make an appt for a cleaning.  For scheduled appts, it is rare to wait more than a minute or two.  I tend to arrive 5 min prior to appt time..and I appreciate that unlike many other medical professionals, there usually is no wait.  On the rare occasion when it might be five mins, office staff continually update you about how long it will take, apologize, ask if they can get you anything, etc.  The dental assistants have a great demeanor, are very efficient and skilled, and in some cases, highly. Now Dr Naz…omg, I love her.  Professional, friendly, sharp and knowledgeable. She is quick refer to a specialist if she believes something is outside her scope of practice. I hate, and want to refuse “big” procedures (like root canals) so I ask what will happen w/out it.  Without bias, she explains in simplistic, non-judgmental terms what will occur if I choose to forgo it.  Never pressures me to move forward.  She is the opposite of the robotron behind a white coat yielding the authority to tell you what must done or else….all of your teeth will fall out in short order!  Nope, I am done with that type of medical professional. Naz & I hit it off personally from day 1 – I found her to be every engaging and funny…SO unlike any other dentist I’ve visited over my whole life.   Like, she is a cool, normal person vs a scary scientist-type, yielding a drill to back up her authority.  We chat about things in our lives and offer each other advice and compassion.  I think of her more like a friend vs my “dentist.”  Yes, that is it: a friend who just happens to work on my teeth.  I appreciate that she has the freedom to do this while still being a professional.  Plus, she loved my dog; he got to come into the waiting room once, many years ago. I find it interesting when a business has a combo of 5 stars and 1 star review, with hardly any in the middle. It’s kinda bizarre, right?  I volunteer at a large dog rescue, and our Yelp page reflects the exact same. While some 1 stars are entirely justifiable, I think most aren’t – what business  works that hard to push away clients??   My mother used to say, “there are 3 sides to every story, yours, mine & the truth.”  The “truth” is unknowable.  I do highly suspect most 1 star reviews were told something of which they disliked/disagreed.  They became embedded in the mud of self righteousness and could not see another perspective.  In the case of the rescue, people don’t typically respond well when told a justifiable no.

I love this office and the staff. I just had my first filling with Dr. Naz, a repair of a previous dentist’s work, and it was as quick and painless as it could have been. I was more nervous this time, with COVID concerns, but felt completely safe in the office. They informed me of the fees and made sure I was ok with everything. I really appreciate Dr. Naz’s directness when it comes to discussing treatment plans. She is very thorough, and gives all the facts, but I didn’t feel like a terrible custodian of my teeth when I told her I could only do one filling repair today and wanted to wait to take care of the others. In the past, I’ve felt like the dentist was almost trying to shame me into having all the work done, and judging me when I declined. Dr. Naz obviously encouraged me to get the work done, but didn’t make me feel like a degenerate when I told her I could not spend the money or risk potential complications at this moment in time. She also went out of her way to take care of my husband, as a new patient, when he was having an issue with a cracked tooth, and cared enough to give him her cell phone number to keep her posted on how he was doing. I believe Dr. Naz and her staff really care about doing an excellent job for their patients.

I am that adult person who is still afraid of going to the dentist. so, I put it off. a few days ago, I happened to walked towards Thirty-2 Advanced Dentistry and felt drawn into the space by the welcoming vibe. The moment I met Dr. Naz, and Sahata, I knew that I’d walked into a place where I could have my dental needs attended to – and it turned out to be true. The office is lovely, and Dr. Naz is a straight shooter: she’s fun, but she’s also knowledgeable, and explains what is called for, and really listens. I felt like I was being treated as a person, not a number, and that was really refreshing.

When I moved from NYC to LA, it took me a couple of years to find a dentist that I felt comfortable going to because I knew that I was going to be sitting in their chair regularly over the next few… several years. So I had to choose someone who is smart, funny, honest (no BS at all), tough but not too tough, and a perfectionist, but ultimately someone who listens. Yeah, I know, tall order, but Dr. Naz checked off all those boxes. Bonus: she’s a mom who brings that caring vibe to her patients, she’s a beautiful person inside and out, and she LOVES her work. I don’t want to bore people with the details of my checkered dental past, let’s just say there were lots of unique obstacles. Very long story short: Dr. Naz was able to solve the mystery of what type of dental implant I actually had from 20 years ago and how to remove the crown (almost like an episode of MacGyver, if MacGyver was a dentist) and then she brought in one of the best oral surgeons in Los Angeles, Dr. Angha (she’s amazing and so nice!) and a true master at creating implant crowns for front teeth, Dr. Jungo, to finish a job I had been dreading for years. The entire time this work was being done, I always felt at ease and confident that I would get fantastic results. Smile accomplished! Every time I go to visit Dr. Naz’s office, it doesn’t feel like a dentist office, it feels like I’m spending time with some good friends who care about me. I would be remiss if I also didn’t mention the support staff, who are all great, especially Monica who understands my scheduling quirks and is always so kind. If you need a new dentist definitely check them out!

The staff at Thirty-Two Dentistry are amazing. Not only was I greeted with so much help and kindness on the phone before coming into the office, but they were just as fun and sweet in person. Dr. Naz even went into helping me understand what was going on and we was very personable. I am so glad I found this team to call my dentist family. I highly recommend them if you are considering a dentist. It is so important to feel like people care about you when stepping into a vulnerable situation and that’s what they authentically do. Care. A well deserved 5 star (and I never give out a 5 star rating). Dr. Naz and her staff are compassionate, honest, empathetic to their patients’ needs and my most important trait in a person and what I expect from my doctor, honesty. I’ve jumped around from dentist to dentist because I kept getting disappointed with one thing or another. So far Dr. Naz and her group have proved to be reliable in all manners. Thanks Dr. Naz.

What a fun and amazing dental experience! I definitely recommend this place for those who have DENTAL ANXIETY. Unfortunately, in the past few years I neglected my oral health. Also, Ive been dealing with anxiety my whole adult life and certainly the fear of going to the dentist to have work done on my teeth/mouth wasn’t going to ease that. Dr. Naz and her lovely staff catered to me from the beginning to the end and it sure made me feel more at ease. They have nitrous gas and massage chairs, thats a plus to me! First off, I was greeted by Monica, the lovely front desk manager and Marco, Dr. Nazs main assistant who had me fill out paperwork to get to learn more about my dental needs and concerns. Dr. Naz relieved any stress i had about the exam and what she would find unhealthy about my mouth. I love Dr. Nazs honesty, sincerity and truly caring personality. She was frank about what i needed to get done and prioritized the treatments needed. She helped turn what I thought would possibly be a nerve wrecking experience into a funny and light one. It was obvious that shes concerned not only about my oral health but explained the effects of poor hygiene on my overall health. Monica the front desk manager sure answered all of my questions as shes very informative and she helped me with all of my financial concerns for my dental treatment, that i feared i wouldn’t be able fo afford. Marco was very kind and helpful and gently took all of my x-rays and pictures and eased the hand off process to Dr. Naz. Shazi, their long term and wonderful hygienist, especially did my half-mouth deep cleaning with a gentle touch and explained in detail what periodontal disease is and how we can work as partners in achieving an optimal oral health. She gave me nitrous gas during my deep cleaning (which is a must!) The whole team was professional, friendly and understanding. Overall, Im happy I came here.

Hi my name is Alejandro (Alex). I barely have a few months that I started to work for Dr. Naz. I am one of her dental assistants in the back helping out many of our patients that have been coming in to her office for years already, and of course to the new patients. If you need to check out a Dentist, I would say she’s the go to person. She explains everything to the patient from beginning to end on every procedure. She takes the time with the patients so they can have a better understating on what is going on overall with their teeth. Everything in this office runs smooth as you come for your visit. From receptionist Monica, to the back office with leading dental assistant Marco. I would recommend any patients that need to see a dentist to Dr. Naz specially those patients that have a fear towards dentistry. Dr. Naz is a very good understanding person towards those patients that have some kind of fear. Make sure to come check her out it will for sure change your dental experienced. When it comes to odontophobia my case is as severe as they come.  First of all, their facility is amazing and the esthetics are welcoming.  The staff made sure that I had everything I needed to make sure I felt safe and comfortable.  They where so patient with me, despite me bursting into tears and shaking like a child. Dr. Naz and Monica where super sweet and where constantly checking up on me during my cleaning.  Shatzi- the individual who did my cleaning was constantly making sure I felt safe and it truly ment a lot to me.  I can go on and on about them but if you are asking my personal opinion based on my experience, I would say give them a try!

I hate-absolutely hate-going to the dentist. The bright lights,the sounds,the unfailing bad news. My stomach would get uneasy for days before an appointment. When I’d get into a chair my body would tense up and I’d have to force myself to relax,only to find myself clenching up again in a moment or so. I’d hope I could get the flu so I could avoid an appointment. Then I got a horrid toothache. Googling the nearest dentist brought me to Thirty-2, Bless Google! From the very beginning the staff was concerned about my level of comfort,not my wallet. Over the next few months Dr Naz and her superb staff proceeded to fix the damage done by years of neglect. They undertook a wide array of procedures with professionalism, careful explanations and patience. About a month in,I was going to my appointment and realized I felt no anxiety. Lying in the chair I was completely relaxed. I never would have believed I would have no anxiety,no tenseness,no dread going to a dentist. (As an aside,I was paying for everything myself and Dr Naz and staff worked with me on pricing and paying.I would like to say thank you again for Dr Naz’ consideration.) After all was done I walk around with a full smile,not the tight-lipped one I had before. Highly recommend Dr Naz and her team for anyone who wants the highest quality dentistry combined with the maximum amount of attention to your comfort level.

I got my appt. mixed up w/another and showed up two days early.  Any other Dr. would have told me tough, and come back on my  sch. day.  They were not ready for me, didn’t have my insurance pay plan – but that was my fault – what happened next was very surprising to me!  Heather worked me, right on the spot, called and got the insurance info, right there and Dr. Naz examined me even though I was not on their schedule.  No place else would do this, ever.  This office does not overbook, I was virtually a walk in, and literally did just that, walked right to the back in less than 10 min. I was told I needed a deep cleaning, others may see this as a sale tactic, but when I told Dr. Naz I trusted her word, she insisted on taking photos and showing me for myself, so there was no doubt on my end.  Then Heather got me scheduled for the very next day to get this taken care of (again early). I can go on and on about the service level, how comfortable the entire staff make you feel from front desk, exams and procedure.  They explain everything, including costs, up front.  I did not feel pressured, Heather gave me two options, what my insurance would pay option 1 or out of pocket, better cleaning, option 2.  So it was my choice to go with the more expensive, better procedure, this was NOT an up-sale!  There was no up-sale going on, no pressures, just facts-It was black and white on paper, I made the choice. Checking out, Michael explained all the follow up information, and at home care, got my next visits set up and was totally fun but professional (the whole staff is) – If you are looking for great service, friendly service, knowledgeable staff that will explain everything, that go out of their way to make your visit awesome, – this is truly “Hollywood 5 Star Service”… no need to look further – just call Dr. Naz and be done with the search! I always feel like I’m in good hands here. Everyone has a warm welcome and a smile for you, whether they are at the front desk or working on you in a procedure. They remember my name before I sign in and even noticed when I started wearing contact lenses (even though I myself forgot that there was anything different about me ) They make genuine conversation with you, they have sincere concern for you, and they’ll even personally call to check on you from time to time. You never feel like “just another customer”. They’re also very skilled at what they do and were even able to damage control a botched root canal that an old dentist from years ago had left me with. I would have had no idea anything that bad was going on if they hadn’t spotted it. They’re also improving my gum health considerably, I have a lot less issues with them already than I did before. It’s quite a nice place to wait in. Doesn’t feel too “cold, stoic doctor’s office-y” at all. I enjoy the comfortable chairs and free WiFi and it helps get me in a good place before going in. A few tips: I highly recommend not trying your luck at parking around here. Just order an Uber or Lyft. The headache you will save is DEFINITELY worth it. Secondly, if you’re having any major procedures or operations done, bring a paper/pen, or use your smartphone’s Audio Recorder or Notepad app, depending on whatever’s more efficient for you. There are no paper printouts for post-op instructions/rules and better to not try and rely on your memory. When it comes time for them to debrief you on how to take care of yourself while you heal, write down or record EVERYTHING. Thirdly, if you are in a long procedure without anasthesia and you bring headphones – opt for in-ear headphones where you can pop one in and keep one out. Makes it easier to hear if they need you to do something in particular with your head or mouth. Oh and best of all, they now offer nitrous with cleanings for $40 and you don’t need anyone to drive you home afterwards! I haven’t tried this add-on yet, but I’m already grateful for it since I know I’m a wimp when it comes to pain! I’m really happy with this place and love everyone in it and I’m super glad I found them through Delta Dental!

Like hanging out with family. Thirty-Two Denistry’s staff, facility, professionalism and ability to make you feel authentically cared for, is above and beyond what you’ve come to expect from a ‘trip to the dentist’. When I first inquired about having a deep cleaning done, I was already in a pretty unhealthy place with my dental up-keep, after avoiding the dentist completely due to some teaming I had experienced from family dentistry early in life. I was put to ease as Dr.Naz and her compassionate and knowledgeable staff helped me to understand the (baby)steps it would take to get back to a healthy mouth. They worked with me (and my insurance) to make sure I was also making the best decisions and was able to move through the processes that needed to be done, as well as being supportive of my financial burden as well. I’ve been steadily moving towards a healthier smile. I’ve received deep cleaning, regular cleaning, fillings, and a root canal and am surprised to say I no longer fear going to the dentist. Thank you to the team for being so amazing. I would recommend anyone come to your office for any dental need 100%.

I have been a patient of Dr. Naz’ for over 4 years now, and since the last time I wrote a review for her, I have more positive things to say about her, her staff, and management of COVID precautions. Approximately 1 year ago, I came to see Dr. Naz for a cleaning (after having completed a porcelain in-lay with a different dentist covered under my dental insurance at the time) who happened to catch the dentist’s mistake in what was called an ‘overhang’. I decided at that time to return to the dentist to allow him to fix it, only to find a year later after having returned to Dr. Naz for another cleaning that he did not do the job right. Dr. Naz was extremely professional, detail-oriented, and simply laid out the facts of what would potentially occur if this was not taken care of. I decided that it was best to take care of this matter ASAP. What she found after investigating was that the previous dentist had placed material called “composite” rather than the porcelain in-lay, and found decay underneath. She was extremely calm, advised me on how to approach my previous dentist to get reimbursement, and counseled me on the proper steps towards addressing this tooth. Dr. Naz advised that we could attempt placing a crown, however if there were any signs of nerve pain/damage, that we would have to proceed with a root canal. Unfortunately, I began to experience some nerve pain and decided to move forward with the root canal. Monica, thank you for explaining the details of the root canal, procedure, post-procedure protocols. This office is extremely well run, and as a future healthcare provider, and someone who has had experience working in several busy medical offices – I can tell you that Dr. Naz’ practice is highly competent!! Marco, who is Dr. Naz’ right hand in procedures, is also a gem. You can feel the unity in which they work together as a team. Going into a root canal + crown placement can be anxiety-provoking, however I had very little fears as I knew I was in great hands. Dr. Stein (performed the root canal) was also extremely friendly, great with her hands, and did a fantastic job. Oh, and not to mention – Dr. Naz and Dr. Stein worked around MY schedule to accommodate me as I head back to Chicago in a few days!! l went to Thirty-2-Advanced-Dentistry to have a consultation with Dr. Naz . It  seemed to me that it is her business with a wonderful team surrounding her. I have always had problematic teeth and gums. When I was a little girl and went to the dentist for the first time and I had eight cavities. Shadows of things to come. Dr. Jamie Ramiscal, my dentist, took X-rays of my mouth during a regular visit a few months ago. He found 4 root canals, a few cavities and gum disease, which he showed me on his flat screen. He didn’t want me to have this work done until I had a deep cleaning, or as I call it,” getting my gums scrapped”.  I’ve had this procedure a few times before and have always left crying from the pain, anguish and fear. I begged Dr. Jamie to forgo the deep cleaning, but he insisted I get “the gum scraping” done. The Periodontist he suggested was across town and didn’t have an opening for three weeks. My root canals were beginning to hurt as I waited too long for the deep cleaning, I can do four root canals in a snap, but deep cleaning freaks me out. It hurts. I searched for a Periodontist on Yelp. Something I would normally never do for a Dentist or Periodontist. I wanted a doctor who used Nitrous Oxide. I found Dr. Naz. I read a lot of her reviews which were mostly positive. I felt like the negative ones might have been people who are negative anyway because her positive reviews were pretty consistent. I called on a Friday and had a consultation with Dr. Naz that next Monday. Her team is fantastic, especially Michael who doesn’t make one feel like a freak because they are afraid of “gum scrapping”. Michael went above and beyond calling all the different departments of my insurance to see if they would cover a certain shot. Michael took the time to make these calls, and even though one of the shots wasn’t covered, it turned out to be inexpensive. Michael still took the time to check it out. He is warm, friendly, and approachable. I had X-rays taken at Dr. Naz’s office. All her equipment is very high tech. Technicians were very gentle and friendly. Dr. Naz came in to talk to me about my X-rays. She told me I had a wisdom tooth that needed to go, but I knew that too because my dentist and I had talked about it. Dr. Naz is very down to earth,  and very much  to the point.She agreed with my dentist and even said she respected him for making sure I had a deep cleaning before the dental work. She talked to me about what  would go into the deep cleaning. She explained every aspect of what shots and medications I would need. I in no way felt like she was “up-selling me” as some of her more negative reviews reported. I felt she was giving me the best chance to strengthen my gums.Because of her straight forward manner, I wasn’t freaked out. I  felt informed. I had my deep cleaning today. I was happily given Nitrous (it is called laughing gas after all).  I was given a blanket, head phones with a genre of music I loved (thank you Michael).  The dental hygienist was excellent, sweet and often Dr. Naz would come in  and work on me herself. With all of the shots of Novocaine I was given, I am surprised that I’m in no pain tonight. (And as loud as the music was that I was listening to, I could still hear them scraping and really putting elbow grease into it). Dr. Naz wanted me to call her with my dentist’s number so they could get on the same page about my treatment. She also asked me to call the office when I got home to make sure I was safe as I was in the chair for over two hours, showed up having taken medication that made me wonky before the I was called into a room. It was a very good experience. I do have to say that the decor is chic and tasteful. I feel very lucky to have found such a terrific team. I am very impressed with the whole team and especially Dr. Naz. I would refer her to anyone I know.
