My husband and I were new to St. Louis area and were in need of a dentist but we both we traumatized from dental experiences in our childhood so I did a lot of research before deciding to call Dr. O’Connor office. I read numerous reviews on how their office really made you feel at ease and that is exactly what we needed to calm our nerves. Our first visit was a consultation to talk about everything and come up with a game plan for what our needs/wants were. Dr. O’Connor spent hours with us and we never felt rushed, he wanted to make sure we were educated and that the right expectations were set. One thing that was very important to me was getting adult braces on so that I could improve my smile before getting married and he agreed to help me get them on ASAP so that in 6 months I could have them temporarily taken off for the wedding. Our wedding day was one of the BEST days in my life, I was so happy and able to smile with confidence. He helped me feel beautiful on my wedding day and that was priceless to me. I could never them enough. I now look forward to going to the dentist and I am taking better care of my oral health now more than ever before. Tom, Diane, and Kathy have really become like family and we are so grateful that we found them. They are an amazing team!

I have been a patient of Dr. O’Connor since 2007 or 2008. I visit his office every six months, and I have always had a fantastic experience. Dr. O’Connor and the dental hygienist, Kathy, are always very thorough and take their time. I also appreciate that when you are scheduled for a procedure, you are the only patient that is being seen. I’ve been in other clinics that shuffle procedures/patients and make you wait during your procedure while the dentist works on another (or two or three) patient. Not at this office! You can expect great service, knowledge, and preventative care from the entire staff. I love them so much that my husband and I still schedule our appointments with this office after moving two hours away.

I went through initial tests with another dentist, but switched to Dr. O’Connor because he would provide more and a better treatment plan for thousands less. His office is smaller, but professional and personable, the other seemed all about the money. I posted a question on the website and within minutes, Dr. O’Connor himself called me back and talked for 20 minutes about my situation! I was hooked. They got me in quickly, were informative, honest, kind and attentive. Diane explained everything so well. I had permanent fixed implant surgery on March 15, 2017, and couldn’t be happier with my treatment. They handed me a mirror after and I cried and said thank you many times. I can’t even find the words to describe how much this surgery meant to me and when I looked in that mirror, I knew I had done the right thing and Dr. O’Connor and his staff were the perfect ones to do it. They are absolutely awesome and are now my new dentist for life!! If you are contemplating this surgery, do yourself a BIG favor and go to Dr. O’Connor. I trust them completely! I will never again be ashamed to talk or smile or laugh, it’s done wonders for my self esteem already and Dr. O’Connor and his staff are TRULY happy for me. Thanks Dr.!!!!

I highly recommend Dr.O’Connor and his team for your dentistry. I had an old baby tooth that never fell out because there was no other tooth to push it out or take its place. I needed an in-plant tooth to fill the void left behind by the baby tooth. Dr. O’Connor told me that if I wanted an implant, that I would need to have a sinus grafting procedure to grow more bone as an anchor point. I was sedated and experienced no pain. The procedure went exactly as planned. After the bone solidified, Dr. O’Connor used a digitally guided dental implant placement. It went incredibly fast and there was absolutely no pain at all. Dr. O’Connor and his team are all so professional and made sure I was always comfortable!

I consulted with three separate highly recommended dentist. First off O’Conners office is far more then just a dental office. Although all charged for scans/ etc. This office took three hours at first sit down with me and discussed things these other two never mentioned. I am overwhelmed with gratitude to the entire staff for the entire process. I had to have teeth cut out of my sinus passage, bone grafts, six on top, six on bottom full implants. It was without a doubt at times devastating to my confidence and attitude. Pain was manageable, but a far longer process then one might think. (1.5yrs) I held on to faith and kept telling myself to trust the process. This was easier to do cause of the attention to detail and time the entire staff took with me through the process of correcting my smile. The end results are unimaginable at the time of my consultation. I was lucky to afford the overall costs which very, but it costs less then a new truck that is shot and trash in under five years. I will live the rest of my life with a beautiful smile, renewed confidence, and overwhelming gratitude for what they have done for me that echos throughout my life and my families. A lifetime of irresponsible dentistry is what led me to Dr. Thomas O’Connor. And I am so glad it did. Dr. O’Connor gave me his undivided attention as we discussed my entire dental history and current condition of my teeth. At 58 yoa, my teeth were in the worst condition of my life; even after spending thousands and thousands of dollars plus hours and hours of grueling dental work for root canals, bridges and crowns. We had lengthy conversations about my situation wherein I asked lots of questions and received answers I could understand and that made sense to me. Dr. Tom explained three different scenarios that offered a solution to my dental situation. If anyone ever told me that I could have all my upper teeth pulled, a sinus lift/graft, and my front gum line reshaped, all in one visit without being unconscious, and not feel any pain or even discomfort! I would have told them they were nuts. I had what is called sedation surgery. When I arrived at 7am for surgery (my sis drove me) it was dark and chilly out. I was already relaxed from the pill I had taken before bed. The atmosphere was very welcoming and calming. It was just me, Dr. Tom, his wife Diane, and a technician to monitor my vitals. Diane even put a soft, plush blanket over me. I drank the sleepy juice and the next thing I remember was Diane telling me it was “Gatorade time”. That meant it was time for me to wake up and get some fluids in me. My sister was there to pick me up. I went to her house so she could keep an eye on me and make sure I kept an ice pack on my jaw to minimize swelling. Dr. Tom and Diane called that evening to see how I was doing. When I say there was no pain, I truly mean “no pain” actually I would say there was minimal discomfort. Even the day following surgery, Dr. Tom wanted me to come in so he could check me and also to show me how to remove my temporary denture and clean it. He told me that it may be an unpleasant experience because of the surgery being so recent. But, once again there was no pain and no discomfort. I was so relieved that it was over. It has been about a month since surgery and my gums are still healing. Soon I will be undergoing sedation again for the 6 implants, more healing and then the grand day when I get my permanent overlay denture implant. Woo Hoo. I can’t wait. I could not be happier with or have more confidence in Dr. Tom and Diane. I am so fortunate to have found them. Becky Burke

The office of Dr O’Connor are great! They treat you with the utmost respect and caring for your dental health. I have never had such a great experience with a dentist before. I would not trade them for anything. I had several procedures done with him and seen tremendous progress. I had wisdom tooth pulled out and let me tell you that Dr O’Connor has hands of a angel! No pains, no infections and great recovery. I was dreading this procedure but he made me feel comfortable and went through it like a breeze, not to mention that I had all four of them done at the same time! I would highly recommend his office and expertise to everyone without a doubt. In addition to Dr O’Connor and Diane, Kathy our dental hygienist is fabulous, very friendly and polite you always leave with a smile.

What’s not to love about Dr. O’Connor! He’s super friendly, easy to like, will not “sell” you on something you do not need, and is very, very particular about his work. I like that he gives complete instructions to both me and his dental assistant Diane (which is his wife who was formerly an Operating Room Nurse and extremely competent–they work well together!). He uses only advanced equipment, and has a high-tech office which is attractively decorated with photos of their underseas adventures. Besides routine procedures like cleaning and x-rays, I’ve had my chipped front tooth flawlessly filled, and 2 crowns which blend beautifully with my other teeth. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

The entire office staff is amazing! I’ve had a major procedure and many minor procedures at this office, and my results have been beyond wonderful! He has basically given me another chance at life, with a new smile, and a new sense of self worth. Having horrible ugly teeth, and hiding for 2 years is OVER!
