The dentist is beyond great. The hygienists are great, too. He did an incredible job with a cosmetic fix for me and it didn’t break the bank, and was also really nice about it. I’ve needed a night guard, too, and when the first one didn’t work out, he fashioned a different style/material for me. I recently moved away from central LA (to Woodland Hills). And being far from this dentist is actually the worst part of my move.

Dr Wakamatsu is an excellent dentist. My crown came off and he fixed it in no time.  I was just amazed at the fitting of the new crown and I can tell by his work that he has been doing this for a long time.  I trust him for all my future dental work.

Tod is personable and state of the art. Moreover he clearly explains procedures to the extent that you are interested in wanting to know. Support staff is always on top of stuff and that makes the office run smoothly, and consequently reduces the “stress” of going to the dentist. There is also a great in-house periodontist should those services be necessary. Robin Wakabayashi. Cute story is that they went to dental school together where they assigned seats alphabetically so they bonded and now share a practice. They are an outstanding team.

I have to say Dr. Wakamstsu is a very accommodating dentist. My father had bit into something and he ended up with a bad toothache. So I called his office in the morning and Dr. W. was able to fit him in the same day to perform an extraction of the tooth he apparently cracked in half! Ouch! Now I hope my dad will heal quickly. But thanks Dr. Wakamatsu for the procedure!

I don’t miss my old job….. However, the benefits that allowed me to have Dr. Wakamatsu as my dentist are sorely missed. You know you’ve found an amazing dentist when you look forward to dental appointments. That was me when I had him as my dentist. I’d look for excuses to visit the dentist. That’s how good this man is. He’s kind, gentle, thorough, honest, and he’s even funny. He has great staff working for him. His practice puts his patients first. It’s more than you could ask for in someone caring for your teeth. If you have Delta, go to him.

BEST DENTIST EVER! I have been going to see Dr. Tod Wakamatsu since 2003, after a co-worker recommended him very highly. Of all the dentists I have seen in my life Dr. Wakamatsu is by far the best! In addition to being very talented at his job, Dr. Wakamatsu is quite friendly & personable. He really puts you at ease, which is helpful if you have anxiety about going to the dentist as I do. Dr. Wakamatsu has the most gentle touch of any dentist I have ever experienced, and he gets the job done quickly and efficiently, saving you from any unnecessary pain and anguish. He always applies a local anesthetic before giving you any shots (if needed), and he is so good at administering the shots that you hardly even feel them at all! I usually have to ask him, “Did you give me the shot yet?” and am always surprised to find out that he already did! I had to have a couple of wisdom teeth extracted ten+ years ago, and Dr. Wakamatsu did an excellent job, despite it being a very difficult procedure due to the fact that the teeth were impacted, and the roots were deeply embedded in my jawbone. He also did a great job doing a professional “teeth whitening” for me, including making some custom bleaching tray molds for me to take home, so I could occasionally do some “touch up work” from home as needed. I then moved away from LA for almost 10 years, and during that time I never found another dentist that could hold a candle to Dr. Wakamatsu’s skill and talent as a dentist. Now I am finally back in the LA area, and am SO thrilled to finally be a patient of Dr. Wakamatsu’s again! He has even gone back and fixed some of the mistakes made by some of my previous dentists. I had one difficult filling in particular that had to be re-done 3 times by another dentist (each time taking over 4 hours), that recently fell out YET AGAIN, and Dr. Wakamatsu was able to PROPERLY replace that filling for the first time, in under an hour! You can’t even tell that that tooth has a filling in it now! I cannot recommend another dentist more highly than Dr. Wakamatsu! He deserves more than 5 stars!

Dr. Wakamatsu is great! Really cares about his patients. 🙂 He takes the time to show a person how to have better hygiene and really explains what he is doing and what a person’s issues are in a way that is easy to understand. He’s not just a doctor, but a teacher in the best possible way. The office always looks clean. The other staff are very friendly. Definitely the best place to go for a dentist!

Great service. Always calls to remind me of appts. Works with me when I can’t make my appts to reschedule. Dr is very professional. Knows I don’t like pain and is always gentle. Convenient downtown location. Highest recommendation.
