Very kind and helpful staff! After going through a year of trying to find out what was wrong with me with other doctors, Dr. Babak led me the right direction immediately. I felt so grateful to finally know what was wrong and start the path toward correct treatment and healing after my PCP had misdiagnosed my condition. He’s very knowledgeable, respectful and good at his speciality. The communication from Dr. Mohajer was very prompt and helpful. The receptionists were also great with communication. They helped me a ton in finding ways to get most cost-effective treatment since my insurance is pretty bad. I’m so grateful for how considerate they are, knowing that the costs of labs and drugs add up fast.

My Transcendental experience yesterday was good. As always, Carla is very kind and gentle for my cleaning,…and it was a pleasure to finally meet Dr. Marjan. I see that the office is up to date with the latest technology. Sarah, Pat and staff are very pleasant, I felt very well cared for, and look forward to my next appointment.

Dr. Mohajer is awesome. I was able to make an appointment the same day, and was seen with almost zero wait time. His office is nice and the ladies at the front desk are friendly and efficient. I told him I had lower right abdomen pain, and upon hearing this and then examining me told me to go straight to the ER for a cat scan as he believed I would need my appendix removed. He was right 🙂 He then called me the next day to check in on me and was so kind. I will recommend Dr. Mohajer to anyone looking for a great gastroenterologist.

I’ve seen Dr. Mohajer for two concerns, when my primary care Dr was unavailable. Dr. Mohajer has great bedside manners, and really takes time to listen to you face to face. I appreciate that he will sit with you in his office and discuss any concerns vs going right into an exam and multi-tasking. He explains everything during an examination and really puts you at ease. His staff is friendly and very well organized. The office is very clean and has a great soothing atmosphere.

Going to the Dentist can make you nervous. Not at this dental office. The entire staff make you feel right at home as soon as you arrive. Pat and Naomi (and now Sarah) are the first ones you meet and always have a smile. Carla, The Hygienist, is so thorough and caring. I place all my confidence in her. Dr. Marjan had big shoes to fill, but she is also a caring professional and embraces newness and technology. You can ask her anything!

I received excellent service from the time I called to make an appointment (which was given to me the next day) to the time I checked out and paid. The office is very clean and well-organized. The staff and technicians are all very pleasant. Dr. Mohajer is very thorough and easy to talk to. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Dr. Mohajer goes above and beyond. He is knowledgeable and supportive, cognizant of different insurance plans and ready to aid patients find a financially viable option, and most of all kind and thorough. His office is extremely efficient and on time. I recommend him 100%

I loved my visit to this dental office. This is a new office in the area, which was well needed! Dentists usually have a negative connotation to them but Dr Marjan was highly skilled and gave me 5 star service. The hygienist cleaned my teeth very well and got off food stains. I definitely won’t be dreading my next visit. The front desk staff, Sarah, was also super nice and knowledgeable! Answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable to be there. The office overall was brand new and sparkly clean, I felt safe to go even in the covid pandemic. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a new dentist office.

5+++ stars for this office! I came from a different dental office that over treatment planned me for a deep cleaning and 3 cavities. After Dr. Mohajer did my exam she said I have some deep ridges in only 2 teeth (not 3 like the other office had told me), which could be easily filled and aren’t even considered a cavity! Her and the hygienist reviewed my xrays and concluded that I didn’t need a deep cleaning! I was so relieved to hear all this. Dr Mohajer filled the deep ridges and I didn’t even need to get numb. The hygienist cleaned my teeth so thoroughly yet gently that I almost fell asleep. I’ve never felt more at ease at a dental office. The entire staff is warm and welcoming. Sarah the office manager is so kind and knowledgable , she helped explain exactly what I needed and broke the finances down for me! Can’t wait to return for my next cleaning. 🙂

I have been seeing Dr. Mohajer for quite a while. I originally seen him when he was part of Grammercy Park Physicians. When he moved I hunted him down and followed him to his new location. That really says a lot about how I feel. He has done numerous colonoscopies and endoscopies on me and my family. I wouldnt go anywhere else. I am a bit of a hypochondriac so most doctors are not patient with me. But not Dr. Mohajer. He actually calls me back personally when I phone. He’s very patient and I never feel rushed. Since seeing Dr. Mohajer I’ve moved out of NYC to Westchester, but I still take the train in to see him. I wish more physicians were like him.

Dr. Mohajer has modernized and digitized a beloved but very old school practice and retained Dr. Seiden’s staff (including Carla, whose excellent cleanings are gentle, thorough and painless). I’ve seen Dr. Mohajer three times, for check-ups, and she’s also quite thorough, an excellent listener and fairly bubbling over with ideas–like how hormonal fluctuations can affect your oral health. That’s something I’ve never heard from a dentist before. She also sees special needs patients.

The staff at Transcendental NYC is wonderful. They are very knowledgeable and helpful professionally and from an administrative perspective. I always have questions regarding the care of my teeth and both Dr Mohajer and her staff always take their time to answer all of my questions. I highly recommend this dental practice to anyone who is looking for an excellent and professional service. You are going to feel right at home with them.

Dr. Mohajer is an extraordinarily gentle and kind provider who takes the time to explain things, allay anxieties and answer questions. I was treated like a client who had a say in matters, rather than as a patient who was expected to simply do as I was told. My time was respected; both the initial consult and the procedure itself began as scheduled. At the same time, there was no sense of haste and I was clearly the sole focus of the doctor’s attention while he worked with me. When you are facing things that are unpleasant and that require you to trust someone else and give up control, you want to be treated as a human being by someone who is not only competent, but also equally human. My experience with Dr. Mohajer and his staff was first rate. If you need a gastroenterologist, you could not find a better one.

Dr. Mohajer helped me during some horrible issues I was having. He is super professional, kind, easy to talk to, funny, and makes you feel comfortable. I had seen other doctors previous to him that didn’t take my issues seriously and couldn’t help. Dr.Mohajer took the time to learn my symptoms and provided me with a few easy options to follow. I appreciate how nice and professional the staff were as well. Could get me appointments fairly quickly and even though I kept rescheduling due to issues at work they were accommodating. Would highly recommend! Also, I saw him several times and they accept my insurance, but there were no big surprise charges like I get from other NYC doctors offices.

I must say, I’m 63 years old and have been to many dentists and periodontists. Dr Mohajer and the staff are among the best I’ve been to. The work I’ve had done, and continue to get (kids floss your teeth!) seems to be top notch. Everything is explained clearly and I trust her and her staff completely. From a simple cavity to extensive work, I would recommend Dr. Mohajar and the staff whole heartily. And on top of that, they are really very nice people. Which means a lot to me as well.

I’ve been a patient with this office for 25 years and today was my first experience it’s new Dentist Dr. Mohajer. I was very nervous but I can honestly say she was wonderful and took great care of me and I felt very well cared for by the whole office. The staff the nurses and technicians everybody there is wonderful. I highly recommend this practice to anybody who wants compassionate thorough dental care.

Dr Mohajer is an amazing doctor. He’s a super nice guy but what I like best is his patient education. He really explains the GI system in a way that you can understand and doesn’t talk down to you. Every step of the way of a procedure or an exam he lets you know what’s happening. He’s extremely pleasant to deal with as a patient. His office is bright and airy and comfortable, and his admin staff are great. Never a problem with my insurance or with them getting me good endoscopy times at the endo center. I think if you’re shopping around for a new GI doctor, he’s so worth a try. Also takes lots of insurances and is on Zocdoc so appointments are easy to manage!

I just had a consultation with Dr. Mohajer after reading many of the reviews and he even exceeds the nice picture painted. The office staff was very welcoming, streamlining the whole process so that I was able to see Dr. Mohajer within 5 minutes of finishing the paperwork. Once we began, he asked a few introductory questions and then he just LISTENED. We went in for the examination and he used a large touchscreen mounted on the wall to thoroughly illustrate and explain one of the possible conditions I have. That was particularly helpful. As a healthcare provider myself, I really appreciated his bedside manner and approach to explaining things. While I don’t necessarily want to come back to a physician’s office, I have no hesitation coming back for follow-ups and highly recommending Dr. Mohajer to others.

Dr. Mohajer is an excellent physician. He is very knowledgeable, with a great bedside manner. I was very lucky that I found him through my online search for a G.I. based on the reviews. It was my first time getting sick in USA and I freaked out, he supported me step by step through all the process that I needed to go through. He is always there for you. He is a very kind individual and I dont know how to thank him for all his support! I strongly recommend him, if you are looking for a very thought full , great and nice GI.

Dr. Mohajer is an excellent physician.  I had my first colonoscopy with him and it was really a non-event because he put me at ease and I woke up afterward feeling great.  I even went to the movies right afterward.  He is personable, friendly, thorough and has a great bedside manner and good humor.  His staff/office is professionally run and everything was easy .  I highly recommend Dr. Mohajer, especially if you are thinking about having your first colonoscopy.  You won’t regret it.

I am very pleased with the service provided by Dr. Marjan Mohajer and her team. The dental care was excellent and she took the time to walk me through what she would need to do to heal my teeth, and her explanations were very clear. Now I feel way better (abscess and extraction). The assistants and the front desk are welcoming and here to help. I recommend very much!
