My experience with Twickenham Family Dentistry has been great. After having wore braces for years, taking care of your teeth is very important. Dr Cook is the best dentist I’ve known. He really cares about each patient and provides a clean and healthy environment for his patients. Cindy does a wonderful job cleaning and helping keep my teeth healthy. Anytime I need to change my appointment, Terry is right there to help. Thank you Dr Cook and Twickenham Family Dentistry for taking care of my family’s teeth.

My experience with Twickenham Family Dentistry was excellent. Terry and Stephanie were both professional and prompt in making appointments and responding to my questions. Dr. Cook was thorough in explaining the procedure I needed and discussed all my options. He is wonderful. His assistant Mindy was terrific and supportive. Thanks to all of them, I am much happier with my smile!

While I can’t really get behind the “Woohoo!” accolade when referring to a dentist who actually works on teeth, I can say that Dr. Cook and his staff are just super to work with. I am new to Huntsville so getting doctors, mechanics, hair services, etc. has been a concern for me and my family. It had been a couple of years since I had seen a dentist and I realized time wasn’t on my side so had my wife search the internet to see if any dentist would be willing to take on a new patient. She called Dr. Cook’s office and liked the response she got from the phone receptionist. My first appointment was, of course, the cleaning and X-ray process. The hygienist was very sweet, very gentle, and very professional which gave me a good first impression. When Dr. Cook came in, he introduced himself and took some time to chat and to get to know me as a person. He was interested in how I came about choosing him as a dentist and got a chuckle out of my story of leaving that decision to my wife. He then explained what he saw in the X-ray images that he had on a computer monitor so I could follow his explanation. Since I am over 60 years and not great at regular oral hygiene, it was no surprise that there was significant work to be done. He gave me options to consider, pointing out the time and possible expense and insurance coverage of each option. He made his recommendation but didn’t try to “steer” me into any decision emphasizing that it was most important for me to evaluate what kind of performance I want from my teeth for the next twenty years. He encouraged me to think over the options and let him know what I decided next visit. The next visit was to fill a couple of cavities, and I was again impressed with the friendly professionalism of the dental assistants and with Dr. Cook’s ability to fill cavities with virtually no pain. With other dentists, I have often felt some tingling when the drill gets past the enamel but not this time. I am going forward with bridge work for some missing molars and I have every expectation that Dr. Cook and company will continue to provide excellent service as they have already. I would recommend Dr. Cook’s office to any individual or family.

The Twickenham Family Dentistry is the best! They accept new patients and the staff is very friendly, especially Kayla! She talked to me the whole time while cleaning my teeth and she was very professional. Also Dr. Cook is a great dental Dr. He makes sure your comfortable the whole time! HIGHLY RECOMMEND this practice!

My permanent retainer wire broke off after 35 (!) years, so the back of my teeth that had been covered by the wire were stained dark brown – yuck! After my cleaning with Cat and Dr. Cook, my teeth are gleaming, pearly white – amazing! I haven’t seen them like this since I was a teenager! Thank you, Dr. Cook and Cat! Wonderful front office staff (Stephanie) also!

Go to this dentist… And I’m not a relative, I swear. I live in Austin Texas and was visiting Huntsville and had a dental emergency. My crown post broke and I was left without a front tooth. I went to Dr. Cook for options and after extensive discussion decided to put a new post in and a temporary crown so my dentist at home could then replace the temporary with a new crown. But when Dr Cook got into the process he discovered an old-school resin that had been used to fill the root canal and determined that the chances of success for a new crown were significantly reduced. Rather than continuing with the new post, he simply glued the old crown back in place and suggested that I discuss my options with my dentist at home. Wow… He had the opportunity to charge me for a new post that probably would have been unsuccessful but instead was honest and told me that I would probably need an implant. Patient before profits. For me this is something significant and something I was extremely impressed by. On top of all of that, the office was friendly, extremely organized, and seamless throughout the entire process. I highly highly recommend Dr. Cook if you happen to be fortunate enough to live in an area where he can provide dental services for you.
